Dan Katō was only in his twenties and serving as a Jonin Instructor for the first time. He cared deeply about his three students and truly saw them as disciples who could inherit his ninja way.
"Seeing you all like this puts my mind at ease."
Dan Katō noticed the bandages on Meikyō and stepped forward to examine him again. Then, using the Healing Technique, a level above the Hemostasis Technique, he restored most of Meikyō's wounds.
To have more common topics to discuss with Tsunade, he had put in the effort to study Medical Ninjutsu. He was not particularly skilled at it, only around the average level of an ordinary Medical Ninja.
But for now, it was enough.
"By the way, didn't you already learn the Hemostasis Technique? Don't go clean up the battlefield yet. There aren't enough people in the Medical Corps behind us, so come lend me a hand. At the very least, you can stop the bleeding for some of our less seriously injured comrades."
After saying that, Dan Katō led his three students toward the rear of the Konoha Frontline.
The reserve force Meikyō's group belonged to had only been deployed in the middle and later stages of the battle to secure victory. Thus, they had not expended much stamina or Chakra. Normally, people like them would be responsible for cleaning up the battlefield after the fighting ended.
However, with Dan Katō, the deputy of the Land of Rain war's overall commander, giving the word, such a small matter could easily be decided.
What Meikyō and the others had not expected, though, was that this work was truly exhausting.
It was even more exhausting than cleaning up the battlefield.
There were simply too few people capable of Medical Ninjutsu and far too many
