Takahashi Yū walked through the Uchiha Clan's compound with half a watermelon in his hands, curiously surveying the luxurious buildings around him.
Beside him, his buddy Danzo had sunk into thought over a few words from his buddy Sakumo, sometimes frowning and closing his eyes, sometimes showing a cold sneer.
He even muttered crude remarks like "That's it?" and "Idiots!"
Takahashi Yū had no interest in any of that. In the days since his return, he had started itching for action again.
A few days earlier, on the night Yūma visited, Orochimaru had also admitted that his research had yielded nothing. Instead, he had burned through all his savings.
His only conclusion was that "murderous intent fluctuation" really did affect a person's temper. Orochimaru, who frequently studied the "seed," would find himself irritable and angry.
Did he even need to say that?
Had he looked at what the trait was called?
"Guys, these Uchiha don't seem nearly as cold as people outside say."
Accustomed to life on the Farm, Takahashi Yū spat watermelon seeds wherever he pleased.
"Right, they seem pretty friendly!" Sakumo agreed from beside him, smiling as he greeted the Uchiha in the compound.
Danzo said nothing. He knew that the Uchiha possessed an innate admiration for strength that far exceeded that of ordinary people.
Of course, that only applied to their own people, and only those so strong they could not resist them!
Within the clan, whoever was strongest was right!
When it came to outsiders, though, the Uchiha were the strongest.
Danzo glanced at Sakumo. Without the Mangekyo, Sakumo alone could slaughter the Uchiha until they collapsed.
Yes, Danzo had seen plenty of the world. He had witnessed Madara Uchiha's Susanoo.
Danzo glanced at Takahashi Yū again...
