Background / History

Early Graduation and Rivalry with Gen

Kakashi trained in Hatake Style Swordsmanship from childhood. After Sakumo identified Uchiha Gen as a child with exceptional swordsmanship talent—and someone stronger than Kakashi—Kakashi began watching his former classmate closely. His complete trust in his father’s judgment made surpassing Gen a personal goal 5 12 13.

At five, Kakashi passed the Academy’s early graduation examination. He concealed an Earth Release restraint beneath a sword exchange, used a clone carrying an Explosive Tag to distract the examiner, and placed his real blade against the examiner’s back. He maintains composure under pressure. Having trained with a blade since childhood, he does not panic when his attacks fail, and he continues fighting after Gen breaks his weapon. As a team leader, he prioritizes reconnaissance, warns against complacency, and reacts quickly to protect his teammates 13 14 180 190 192.

His bluntness often becomes sarcasm around Obito, whom he habitually calls “dead last.” Despite their constant arguments, Kakashi shields him from danger.
