Uchiha Gen defeated Ōnoki and Third Raikage A, claimed their villages, and discovered that Shimura Danzō was a dream created by Hiruzen Sarutobi. After tracing the past, Gen returned to the Uchiha Compound and prepared to confront Hiruzen with Uchiha Hikari and Uchiha Fugaku.

• Hatake Sakumo broke into the Naruson Domain, defeated Madara Uchiha’s assault, and reunited with Obito Uchiha after Obito’s Baryon Mode failed.
• Uchiha Gen and Uchiha Hikari reached the battle between Iwagakure and Kumogakure, where Gen confronted Ōnoki, Third Raikage A, and four Jinchūriki.
• Gen defeated the Kage and subdued the Tailed Beasts, then claimed Iwagakure and Kumogakure as the war ended and the villages formed an alliance.
• Gen entered the Dream World and realized that Shimura Danzō had died long ago and that someone had created his present existence as a dream.

Uchiha Gen became Konoha’s Fourth Hokage while uncovering the Shinigami’s hold over Kushina Uzumaki and the forces manipulating the world’s history. After Hashirama Senju intervened in a merging of timelines and Boruto Uzumaki arrived from another world, Gen drew Kurama from Kushina and began destroying the Shinigami inside her.

• Uchiha Gen and Uchiha Hikari staged a battle that resonated with the Uchiha Clan’s Sharingan, then challenged Hiruzen Sarutobi when he accused them of plotting a coup.
• Minato Namikaze told Gen, Hikari, and Hatake Sakumo how the Uzumaki Clan’s Shinigami Jinchūriki came to be, and Gen promised to deal with the Shinigami inside Kushina Uzumaki.
• Hikari revealed Hiruzen Sarutobi’s crimes against Senju Nawaki, and Hiruzen sent Shimura Danzō’s Root ninja to kill Gen before Minato and Konoha’s clan leaders arrived.
