• Zhang Wenyuan watched Wang Ying cut through the Eerie and concluded that she was even stronger than Yang Yong.
• Zhang Wenyuan guided Xiao Yuxia’s off-road vehicle through gaps in the Eerie, and it caught up with the Survival Convoy.

An elderly Taoist priest invited them to rest, then left after they stayed silent, and Mang Dabiao sensed that the priest was a living person who seemed not to be from this world.

• Yang Yong ordered Mang Dabiao to sense the temple, but Mang Dabiao detected no presence as the convoy climbed the mountain and failed to get closer.
• Yang Yong ordered the convoy to turn around, and they suddenly appeared in the clearing before the temple.
• Mang Dabiao touched the temple wall and still sensed no living presence, Eerie, or energy.
• Yang Yong summoned the Red-Clothed Female Ghost and the Love Letter Ghost as the temple gates opened and an elderly Taoist priest emerged.

Yang Yong’s convoy rested at a Taoist temple after Mang Dabiao said its old priest was safe, but the priest expelled an Eerie spirit from Huang Xiaojuan and revealed that a fox immortal had been possessing her. Huang Xiaojuan thanked the convoy and said her immortal wanted to exchange something with Mang Dabiao, leaving Yang Yong wondering what the fox immortal wanted.

• Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng decided to rest at the temple overnight after Mang Dabiao assured them the old Taoist priest meant no harm.

• The old Taoist thanked Yang Yong, then escaped the shrinking Taoist Temple through a gap in a heavenly net opened by his yellow talisman, while two more figures followed him out.
• Yang Yong realized Mang Dabiao had recognized the old Taoist, mourned the loss of his talisman, and saw the furnace briefly absorb the talisman’s ashes without starting a new Curio.

• Yang Yong wondered whether the Void Crystal was meant for him, while Zhang Bihuang stared at him after Wang Ying's promise that he would craft her a Curio.
• Cao Xianming greeted Lao Zhang after waking, then learned the convoy had almost no food left and would soon need to risk a supply run.
