Arc 3The Hospital Ghost Domain

Yang Yong helped Cao Xianming’s convoy battle the giant Rat King, then took charge as Eerie attacks and illness threatened the survivors. A medicine search trapped Yang Yong’s group in a hospital Ghost Domain, and they escaped just before sunset, only to find axe-carrying figures ahead.

  • The Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner devoured the Love Letter Ghost, but Yang Yong grew alarmed when Cao Xianming’s convoy turned back toward the rat swarm and drove through an execution ground filled with Eeries.
  • Cao Xianming explained that a man in black had recruited the convoy to help Wei Yu defeat the giant Rat King, and Yang Yong joined the battle with Wang Ying and Zheng Xiaofeng.
  • The Rat King exploded in crimson energy, driving the Old Immortals toward losing control, and Yang Yong’s group escaped as Wang Ying fought through the rats blocking their route.
  • After Cao Xianming collapsed, Yang Yong led the convoy through the night, where Li Zhi fell to a Lamp-Under Ghost and Yang Yong and Wang Ying fought a Cleaver Ghost and black goats.
  • Yang Yong bound Mang Dabiao with a mark that subdued its Blood Moon Energy, then joined Wang Ying and Zheng Xiaofeng in searching a city hospital for fever medicine.
  • A foreign woman’s illusion transported Yang Yong’s group into the hospital Ghost Domain, where they fought multiplying Eeries and discovered that the streets outside were also crowded with them.
  • Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng found the Foreign Woman Ghost and collapsed the hospital, escaping through a rift with Mang Dabiao and their companions.
  • Yang Yong’s group returned to the pharmacy near sunset, piled into the pickup, and drove into the dusk as axe-carrying figures in black suits appeared ahead.
Chapters 51–75 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 51Ding, Energy Required!

After Yang Yong subdued the Love Letter Ghost, the Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner grew stronger and the convoy celebrated its newfound ability to resist Eeries. Cao Xianming then abruptly turned the convoy back toward danger, while Yang Yong’s growing dread led him to urge the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace to work faster, only for it to demand energy.

  • The Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner devoured the Love Letter Ghost, increasing its might, and Cao Xianming saw the convoy’s plan success rate rise from 60% to 78%.
  • Cao Xianming asked Yang Yong to confirm the victory, and Yang Yong announced that he had subdued the Love Letter Ghost, prompting the convoy to erupt in cheers.
  • Yang Yong returned to his truck and reflected on the risks of seeking Eeries to strengthen the banner, remembering how the Drifting Fleet had been wiped out by a giant snake Eerie.
  • Cao Xianming ordered the convoy to move, but Yang Yong saw that the vehicles were turning back toward the rat swarm and grew alarmed by his sense of impending danger.
  • Yang Yong refueled his pickup and urged the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace to hurry, but it responded with a notification demanding energy.

Ch. 52This wasn't a gamble!

Yang Yong used the Blood Moon Energy to accelerate the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace, but its treasures drew Eeries as the convoy crossed a string of dangerous hauntings. At dawn, Yang Yong confronted Cao Xianming, who insisted the perilous route was the convoy’s only way to survive.

  • Yang Yong placed the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace in the pickup bed and used the Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner to channel Blood Moon Energy into it, speeding up its forging.
  • Yang Yong drove into an ancient execution ground, where the Prison Eeries attacked the pickup after being drawn by his treasures.
  • An Executioner Eerie clung to the tailgate, and the furnace’s golden light swallowed it while it was forging Wang Ying’s Blood-Drinking Mad Saber.
  • Yang Yong’s convoy passed through a Funeral Procession and several more waves of Eeries before reaching dawn.
  • Yang Yong dragged Cao Xianming from his SUV and demanded an explanation for the dangerous route, but Cao Xianming said it was the only way for the convoy to survive.

Ch. 53This disciple wants to go after that giant rat

Cao Xianming told Yang Yong that the Survival Convoy had a dangerous path ahead and was heading toward Mo Family Village to confront a giant mutant rat for a chance to gain power. Meanwhile, the man in black communed with his master, who agreed to pursue the rat.

  • Cao Xianming warned Yang Yong that something in his vehicle had attracted the Eerie, making Yang Yong fear his hidden Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace had drawn them.
  • Cao Xianming explained that a man in black had invited the convoy to help kill the giant mutant rat near Mo Family Village, whose flesh could raise supernatural levels.
  • Cao Xianming said his calculations gave the convoy close to a seventy-percent chance of survival if it continued, but certain death if it turned back, because danger lay ahead and behind.
  • Yang Yong returned to his vehicle and resolved to make the Thousand-Hammer, Hundred-Refinement Furnace finish forging quickly.
  • In a hidden cave, the man in black communed with his master, who spoke through him and complained that the giant rat had rallied its descendants against him.
  • The man in black told his master, "This disciple wants to go after that giant rat."

Ch. 54A snake could actually talk?

Cao Xianming’s convoy reached Mo Family Village and followed a talking python into the mountains, where snakes and foxes were fighting a massive rat swarm. The group arrived at a battle-scarred cave, where an aged voice welcomed Captain Cao, leaving Yang Yong uneasy about what he was about to learn.

  • Wang Ying practiced with a heavy butcher knife while Zheng Xiaofeng warned Old Zhao to keep the tank full, both sensing danger on the convoy’s route.
  • At Mo Family Village, a young python stopped the convoy, asked for Captain Cao, and identified itself as a guide to its Dima, Wei Yu.
  • Cao Xianming sent Zheng Xiaofeng to guard the buses and followed the python with Yang Yong and Wang Ying into the mountains.
  • Yang Yong saw snakes and foxes hunting rats throughout the forest and realized they were conducting an organized campaign against the giant rat swarm.
  • The convoy reached a battle-scarred cave, where an aged voice told Captain Cao that it had been waiting for him.

Ch. 55The Shamanism Sequence

Yang Yong and Cao Xianming met Wei Yu, a Shamanism Sequence practitioner seeking help against a mutated giant rat. Wei Yu revealed the spirit immortals’ plight and showed Cao Xianming the allies he had gathered, then asked whether the convoy would join the fight.

  • Cao Xianming led Yang Yong and Wang Ying into the cave, where Wei Yu welcomed them.
  • Yang Yong sensed a powerful presence in the cave, and Wei Yu explained that one of his spirit immortals was inside.
  • Wei Yu told them that Blood Moon Energy had corrupted many spirit immortals in the northeast, where survivors were being kept as food, and that Shamanism practitioners and spirit immortals needed each other to survive.
  • Wei Yu explained that he had contacted four nearby convoys to recruit help against the giant rat, but Cao Xianming’s convoy was the only one that came.
  • Wei Yu summoned three spirit immortals—Liu Dabao, Hu Cuihua, and Bai Sanye—and said their descendants could face the rat swarm, but he still needed Cao Xianming’s help to defeat the giant rat.

Ch. 56Screaming Wax Apple

Cao Xianming learned that Wei Yu’s family could cultivate screaming wax apples, which could grow supernatural power, and saw a chance to improve the convoy’s odds. The chapter ended with Wei Yu revealing that one of his elder immortal’s descendants had chosen someone in the convoy with potential for spirit mediumship.

  • Cao Xianming watched the battle probability fall to 55% as he searched for the overlooked factor that might secure victory.
  • Foxes brought the convoy bags of screaming wax apples, and Wei Yu explained that the fruit absorbed Blood Moon energy and could be grown in seventy-two hours.
  • Cao Xianming tasted a screaming wax apple and confirmed that it slightly increased supernatural power, while his Data Model revealed that only Wei Yu’s elder immortal could currently cultivate the trees.
  • Cao Xianming challenged Wei Yu for withholding the cultivation difficulty, and Wei Yu admitted that only his family’s elder immortal could grow the fruit.
  • Wei Yu revealed that his elder immortal’s descendants could learn the technique and that one of them had chosen someone in the convoy with potential for spirit mediumship.
  • A rat’s cry sounded outside as Cao Xianming’s chance of victory began to rise, and he asked who the chosen person was.

Ch. 57What If the Data Itself Kept Changing?

Cao Xianming negotiated for the Survival Convoy to join Wei Yu in hunting the giant rat, then moved the convoy to a safe location for the coming battle. As the group prepared to lie low, Cao Xianming saw the battle’s win rate fluctuating toward failure and wondered whether the changing data could be trusted.

  • Wei Yu offered the Survival Convoy Screaming Wax Apples and a share of the giant rat’s grain in exchange for every Transcendent except Cao Xianming helping fight the rat; they agreed to attack the next morning.
  • Cao Xianming returned to the convoy with Yang Yong and Wang Ying, while Wei Yu’s snakes and foxes continued killing scout rats around Mo Family Village.
  • Cao Xianming used his Data Model to locate an abandoned villa complex where the convoy could stay safely for three days, and Lao Zhang ordered everyone to remain indoors.
  • Cao Xianming told Wang Ying, Yang Yong, and Zheng Xiaofeng to avoid taking risks in the battle and flee if things went wrong.
  • Cao Xianming watched the Data Model’s win rate fluctuate toward below fifty percent and wondered what it meant if the data itself kept changing.

Ch. 58Snake Immortal Liu Dabao

Cao Xianming’s unstable odds warned Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng that meeting Wei Yu could go badly, but they traveled to Mo Family Village anyway. There, Liu Dabao ordered an attack on the rat king during its transformation, and the battle between the spirit creatures and the rats began.

  • Cao Xianming told Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng that their odds of victory fluctuated around fifty percent and warned them to retreat if anything went wrong.
  • The next morning, Cao Xianming’s estimate rose to seventy percent, and Yang Yong took Li Zhi as the convoy’s temporary driver to Mo Family Village.
  • A python guided Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng to Wei Yu, who spoke through Liu Dabao and revealed that the rat king was undergoing a critical transformation.
  • Liu Dabao ordered an immediate attack, and a vast host of snakes, foxes, and hedgehogs surged toward Mo Family Village.
  • Countless rats poured from the village and clashed with the spirit creatures as Wei Yu and two young immortals joined the fight.

Ch. 59Immortal-Style Susanoo

Wei Yu and his companions reached the Ancestral Hall and fought the rat king, which transformed into a giant after unleashing a devastating shock wave. As the battle escalated, Cao Xianming ordered the convoy to evacuate, while Wei Yu and the rat king clashed in monstrous forms.

  • Wei Yu and his companions fought through swarms of rats and Flying Squirrels to reach the Ancestral Hall, while Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng hung back cautiously.
  • Wei Yu smashed the Ancestral Hall and confronted the rat king, which summoned waves of rats to shield itself.
  • The rat king grew larger and released a red shock wave that sent Wei Yu and his two companions flying; Yang Yong retreated with Wang Ying and Zheng Xiaofeng.
  • Cao Xianming saw the win rate plunge below thirty percent and ordered Xiao Ma to assemble the convoy and evacuate the villa complex.
  • Wei Yu rose with a massive snake-shaped black-energy exoskeleton, while the rat king expanded to hundreds of meters and formed enormous green claws.
  • Wei Yu and the rat king collided, and their shock waves killed the creatures fighting around them.

Ch. 60I curse you

Yang Yong and his companions watched the Rat King’s fight with the elder immortals turn into a devastating blast that drove the snake and fox mad. They fled Mo Family Village with an unconscious girl and a python, leaving Wei Yu behind as the village descended into chaos.

  • Zheng Xiaofeng shielded Yang Yong and Wang Ying from the shock waves as the Rat King and great snake tore through Mo Family Village.
  • The teenage boy and girl transformed into a seven-tailed fox and a hedgehog, joining the great snake to overwhelm the Rat King.
  • The Rat King regained its sentience, cursed Liu Dabao, Hu Cuihua, and Bai San, then exploded in a burst of crimson energy.
  • Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng survived the blast and saw the great snake and seven-tailed fox become savage and charge toward Mo Family Village.
  • Yang Yong’s group rescued the unconscious teenage girl, agreed to take the python along, and escaped in three vehicles as the village was ravaged.

Ch. 61Something's wrong! The captain coughed up blood and passed out!

After the failed hunt for the Rat King, Yang Yong and the others escaped the battlefield and joined Cao Xianming’s Survival Convoy. Just as they cleared the rats’ blockade, Cao Xianming coughed up blood and collapsed, leaving Wang Ying to check his condition.

  • Wei Yu realized his side had lost, and other animal immortals rescued him and his subordinate as the survivors fled the battlefield.
  • Yang Yong deduced that Wei Yu’s Old Immortals had sought the Rat King’s method of absorbing Blood Moon Energy while retaining some reason, and that the Rat King’s self-detonation had driven the three Old Immortals toward losing control.
  • Yang Yong’s convoy joined Cao Xianming’s Survival Convoy and sped away from the battlefield.
  • Wang Ying led the convoy through the rats blocking the road, cutting down the Blood Moon-corrupted rats that attacked them.
  • Xiao Ma shouted that Cao Xianming had coughed up blood and passed out, and Wang Ying checked his pulse and eyes.

Ch. 62The figure beneath the streetlight

After Cao Xianming was incapacitated, Yang Yong led the convoy onward into the night, where a mysterious figure beneath a streetlight used familiar faces to lure its victims. The python snapped Yang Yong out of the illusion, but Li Zhi fell under its spell and began walking toward the figure.

  • Wang Ying said Old Cao was likely to recover after resting, but warned that the group had lost its guide as night approached.
  • Yang Yong asked whether the convoy should keep moving or hide; everyone agreed to follow his decision, and they set off with Yang Yong’s pickup leading.
  • The Blood Moon rose earlier and brighter than before as the convoy drove blindly through the darkness, initially encountering no Eerie.
  • Yang Yong spotted a hooded figure beneath a streetlight and saw it transform into his mother, but the python warned him that it was an Eerie, breaking the illusion.
  • Yang Yong realized Li Zhi had been drawn in by the figure; Li Zhi called it his little sister, stopped the vehicle, and started walking toward it.

Ch. 63Yong! How About Taking Me In?

Yang Yong watched Li Zhi get mauled by the Lamp-Under Ghost as the convoy fled, while Mang Dabiao drove the pickup. After learning that Yang Yong’s Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner could absorb blood moon energy, Mang Dabiao pleaded to become his underling and offered his abilities, including a possible way to save the unconscious captain.

  • Yang Yong saw Li Zhi answer the Lamp-Under Ghost’s approach and lose half his arm, while the convoy continued on without rescuing him.
  • Mang Dabiao took control of the pickup and explained that he had learned to drive from his spirit-medium disciple.
  • Yang Yong summoned the Red-Clothed Female Ghost and the white-clothed Love Letter Ghost from the Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner, and Mang Dabiao recognized that it could absorb blood moon energy.
  • Mang Dabiao asked Yang Yong to take him on as an underling so the Curio could keep him sane and help him grow stronger.
  • Mang Dabiao offered to sense Eerie, communicate with animals, and recruit animal immortals from the northeast, then said a White Immortal such as Bai Sanye could cure Yang Yong’s unconscious captain.

Ch. 64Cleaver Ghost, Black Goats

Yang Yong and Wang Ying fought off a Cleaver Ghost and escaped, only to find three black goats attacking the convoy and eating a team member’s severed hand. They joined Zheng Xiaofeng in battle as the convoy finally started moving again.

  • Mang Dabiao warned Yang Yong that a Cleaver Ghost was ahead, and Yang Yong and Wang Ying attacked it when it raised its cleaver against the convoy.
  • Yang Yong ordered the convoy to drive through while he and Wang Ying fought the Cleaver Ghost, then they escaped in the pickup after Wang Ying deflected its final three slashes.
  • Zheng Xiaofeng warned that more Eerie were ahead, and Yang Yong and Wang Ying found three black goats fighting Zheng Xiaofeng and eating a team member’s severed hand.
  • The Red-Clothed Female Ghost engaged one black goat, the Love Letter Ghost distracted another, and Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng gained the upper hand against the third.
  • Wang Ying shouted at the stopped convoy to move, and its engines started roaring again.

Ch. 65I used to be a carefree little python...

Yang Yong and the convoy escaped the Black Goat and survived the night by following Mang Dabiao, whose ability to sense Eerie creatures helped them avoid danger until daylight. As they traveled on, Mang Dabiao revealed that it had sealed away most of its abilities after the Blood Moon erupted, leaving Yang Yong wary of the python.

  • Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng escaped the Black Goat and rejoined the convoy, with Mang Dabiao driving Yang Yong's pickup.
  • Yang Yong ordered Mang Dabiao to lead the convoy and sense Eerie creatures, and the vehicles followed its directions to avoid most encounters.
  • The convoy reached daylight after a night of danger, and exhausted drivers began taking over from those who had stayed awake.
  • Yang Yong asked Mang Dabiao whether it had been with the large snake, and Mang Dabiao said they had traveled together from the northeast and grown attached.
  • Mang Dabiao explained that it had sealed away most of its abilities after absorbing Blood Moon Energy and nearly losing control to murderous urges.
  • Yang Yong remained suspicious of Mang Dabiao and wondered whether he could find a way to benefit from its help without trusting it completely.

Ch. 66Severing heaven and earth, Four Symbols Sealing Suppression!

Yang Yong used a mysterious cultivation mark to bind Mang Dabiao, who gained control over its blood moon energy and access to immortal arts. As the exhausted convoy continued across the wasteland, Yang Yong fell asleep while Mang Dabiao reflected on the hope of breaking the world’s barrier.

  • Yang Yong drew a changing mark on his palm and pressed it to Mang Dabiao’s forehead, binding it so it could never harm him.
  • Mang Dabiao discovered that the mark subdued its blood moon energy and slowly absorbed it, restoring its ability to use immortal arts.
  • Mang Dabiao eagerly called Yang Yong its big brother, and Yang Yong sensed that he could read Mang Dabiao’s thoughts through the mark.
  • Yang Yong relaxed and fell asleep, while Mang Dabiao resolved to cling to him and spoke of the Four Symbols Sealing Suppression and the barrier above the world.
  • Wang Qian drove Wang Ying’s vehicle, Zheng Xiaohai drove while Zheng Xiaofeng slept, and most of the bus passengers rested after the previous night’s battle.
  • Yang Yong dreamed of a quiet heavenly palace and Mang Dabiao driving him through the wasteland.

Ch. 67Disasters came one after another

Cao Xianming’s fever climbed to forty-three degrees while other convoy members fell ill, leaving the group desperate for medicine. Wang Ying, Zheng Xiaofeng, and Yang Yong agreed to enter a nearby city to find supplies as Cao remained trapped in a terrifying nightmare.

  • Xiao Ma told the convoy that Cao Xianming had a dangerously high fever, and Wang Ying confirmed he was burning up.
  • Zheng Xiaofeng and Old Zhao reported that several others, including a Shamanism-practicing girl and Xiao Zhang, were also sick.
  • Lao Zhang revealed that they had passed a city with a cross sign, where they might find medicine, despite the danger of entering.
  • Zheng Xiaofeng volunteered to search for medicine, and Wang Ying and Yang Yong joined him.
  • Lao Zhang ordered the convoy to turn back toward the city while Cao Xianming dreamed that he was driving through an endless graveyard pursued by watching faces.

Ch. 68Don't fall behind

The convoy raced toward the city to find fever medicine, and Old Zhao asked for volunteers to join the three Sequence Transcendents. Xiao Xuan and two other passengers stepped forward, and the group prepared to enter the dangerous city together.

  • Mang Dabiao turned the farm vehicle around and drove the convoy toward the city as quickly as possible.
  • Old Zhao announced that the convoy needed fever medicine and asked who would join the city search.
  • Xiao Xuan volunteered, followed by a middle-aged man and a young man.
  • Old Zhao warned the volunteers that the city was unknown and told them to prioritize survival while searching for medicine near the cross.
  • The convoy reached the city, where Wang Ying told the volunteers to stay close and not fall behind.

Ch. 69Yangcheng First People's Hospital

Yang Yong's group reached Yangcheng First People's Hospital after navigating roads filled with dangerous shadows and Eeries. They avoided an Eerie on the first floor by climbing to the second-floor windows, where an unsettlingly sweet smell greeted them.

  • Mang Dabiao drove Wang Ying, Zheng Xiaofeng, Xiao Xuan, and the others toward the hospital, braking when an Eerie appeared in a patch of shadow.
  • Mang Dabiao steered the truck around and through dangerous shadows, turning the short drive into a journey of more than an hour.
  • At the hospital, Yang Yong saw a vision of bloody water pouring from the windows, but it vanished when he looked again.
  • Mang Dabiao sensed an Eerie near the first-floor corner, so the group retreated and climbed to the second floor.
  • Zheng Xiaofeng opened a second-floor window, releasing the same faintly sweet smell they had encountered along the road.

Ch. 70I was telling the truth! There really is a ghost here, a nurse ghost!

Xiao Wei was trapped in an illusion of a murderous nurse ghost, then woke and pulled a real Nurse Ghost from behind the nurses' counter. As Mang Dabiao distracted it, Yang Yong and the others reached the locked pharmacy and tried to cut its bolt.

  • Xiao Wei saw a stitched nurse ghost and other horrors attack him, but Xiao Xuan woke him from the vision.
  • Xiao Wei insisted there was a ghost behind the nurses' counter, then dragged out a bandaged Nurse Ghost and realized he had made a mistake.
  • The Nurse Ghost broke free and lunged at Xiao Wei, so Yang Yong threw Mang Dabiao to help draw it away.
  • While Mang Dabiao and Xiao Wei led the Nurse Ghost around the waiting hall, Yang Yong and the others rushed to the pharmacy.
  • Yang Yong found the pharmacy door locked and used the Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors to cut its bolt.

Ch. 71Where Have We Ended Up?

Yang Yong escaped a rule-bound drinking challenge in a strange bar with Mang Dabiao’s help, but the foreign woman followed him and transported the group to a ghost market inside Yangcheng First People's Hospital. The group found themselves trapped in a bustling hospital filled with Eerie.

  • Yang Yong entered a bar-like illusion where a foreign woman demanded that he drink 108 glasses, but he could not move or reach his Little Golden Flood Dragon Scissors.
  • Yang Yong summoned Mang Dabiao, who charmed the woman into drinking with him and helped Yang Yong escape the illusion.
  • Yang Yong returned to the pharmacy, where Wang Ying and the others gathered medicine from mostly empty shelves before preparing to leave.
  • Mang Dabiao broke his glass to escape the bar and returned to the pharmacy drunk, while Xiao Wei continued leading the Nurse Ghost on a chase.
  • The foreign woman appeared in the pharmacy, snapped her fingers, and transported Yang Yong and his companions to a misty, crowded ghost market inside Yangcheng First People's Hospital.

Ch. 72This wasn't an illusion-they had really entered the hospital's Ghost Domain!

Yang Yong and his companions entered the hospital’s Ghost Domain and tried to escape by descending the stairs, but they encountered a multiplying Eerie that their attacks could not stop. Yang Yong knocked the monsters down with Mang Dabiao and led the group toward the ground-floor entrance, where he charged the lone security guard Eerie, determined to open the door.

  • Yang Yong realized the group had truly entered the hospital’s Ghost Domain, while Mang Dabiao remained blackout drunk and could not help.
  • Yang Yong and Wang Ying silently led the group through the hospital and down the stairs to avoid the Eerie.
  • Yang Yong and Wang Ying attacked the growth-covered Eerie, but every cut caused it and its severed growths to multiply.
  • Yang Yong used Mang Dabiao to trip the monsters, then told the group to run for the ground-floor entrance.
  • Yang Yong charged toward the entrance and its lone security guard Eerie, determined to open the door.

Ch. 73Eeries defied classification

Yang Yong, Wang Ying, Zheng Xiaofeng, and Xiao Xuan’s group fought through a Ghost Domain where Eeries behaved unpredictably, then took shelter in a café after failing to find an exit. Outside Yangcheng, Lao Zhang waited anxiously as the group tried to figure out what was happening.

  • Yang Yong killed the Security Guard Eerie with the Two-Yang God-Sealing Banner, then found the street outside crowded with Eeries and no sign of the pickup.
  • The Eeries turned their heads toward Yang Yong and his companions before attacking, and Wang Ying urged everyone to run and find shelter.
  • Wang Ying discovered that the Eeries defied classification when her attack destroyed a Male Ghost she had expected to be powerful, and the group fought their way through the street.
  • Lao Zhang waited outside Yangcheng and silenced convoy members who feared the trapped Transcendents would not return before dark.
  • Wang Ying, Yang Yong, and Zheng Xiaofeng hid in a café, where Yang Yong asked the others to help work out what was happening.

Ch. 74There are no useless magical artifacts, only useless users

Yang Yong and his companions fought their way back to the hospital, then climbed to the upper floors to search for the foreign ghost woman who might be able to send them out of the Ghost Domain. As they examined the hospital floor plan, the sound of high heels approached from upstairs.

  • Wang Ying proposed finding the foreign ghost woman at the hospital, and Yang Yong agreed they needed to reach the administrators' offices before nightfall.
  • Yang Yong wrapped the still-unconscious Mang Dabiao around his waist, and the group fought through the Eerie-filled streets to reach the hospital.
  • Wang Ying and Zheng Xiaofeng climbed the hospital exterior, while Yang Yong had the Red-Clothed Female Ghost and the Love Letter Ghost carry him to the rooftop.
  • Yang Yong left Xiao Xuan and the other two hiding by the parking lot, then joined Wang Ying and Zheng Xiaofeng in searching the upper floors for the hospital's offices.
  • The three found a floor plan below the rooftop, then froze when they heard high heels clicking on the marble floor upstairs.

Ch. 75Fuck, wrong movie set? Isn't this the Axe Gang?

Yang Yong and his companions escaped the Ghost Domain by collapsing the hospital and rushing through a rift, then fled the pharmacy before nightfall. As their pickup sped into the dusk, a formation of suited, axe-carrying figures appeared on the road.

  • Yang Yong, Wang Ying, and Zheng Xiaofeng found the Foreign Woman Ghost in the purchasing department, and Mang Dabiao woke from its drunken stupor and urged them to bring down the hospital’s load-bearing walls.
  • Wang Ying cut through the support columns, and the group escaped as the hospital collapsed and a rift opened between the Ghost Domain and reality.
  • Mang Dabiao and Yang Yong crossed the rift, and Zheng Xiaofeng hurled Xiao Xuan, Xiao Wei, and the middle-aged man through before Mang Dabiao dragged him to safety.
  • Back at the pharmacy near sunset, Yang Yong’s group jumped from the second floor, piled into the pickup, and drove away with Mang Dabiao at the wheel.
  • A group in black suits and white gloves, each carrying an axe, appeared at the far end of the road as the pickup sped into the dusk.
