Itō Yuying established himself as a powerful young ninja by combining ki with Konoha techniques, drawing Tobirama Senju and his friends into ki training. After surviving a kidnapping and recovering through a Senzu Bean, he began teaching others while studying the Flying Thunder God Technique.

• Itō Yuying trained with Might Duy, entered the Ninja Academy, and impressed his classmates and teachers with extraordinary strength and ki techniques.
• After defeating Jiraiya and Hatake Sakumo in sparring matches, Itō Yuying earned Tobirama Senju’s attention, learned chakra, and agreed to teach Tobirama ki.
• Itō Yuying survived a fight with Tobirama Senju that broke Konoha’s barrier, then recovered from his injuries and grew closer to Might Duy, Jiraiya, Tsunade, Orochimaru, and others.

• Might Duy and Jiraiya fought at the training ground, and Itō Yuying invited Tobirama Senju to address the cheering students.
• Tobirama Senju announced a Ki training base, where fifteen candidates passed demanding physical, hunting, and Base Emblem tests before receiving time to visit their families.
• Itō Yuying rescued Tian Qiran, then led his students to confront Sunagakure and the Land of Grass, fought Shukaku and Hanzō, and exposed a coalition plotting against Konoha.

As the exams unfolded, the Kage entered the realm and battled its beasts, discovering that the harsh trials greatly increased their power.

• The Eight-Tails shielded Bee from Itō Yuying’s Void-Shattering Bomb and survived only long enough for Itō to learn that Bee was alive, while the Cloud Ninja withdrew.
• Tobirama Senju and Itō Yuying organized the Joint Chunin Ninja Exams, negotiated with the other Kage, and arranged access to the Landscape and Rivers State Guardian Diagram in exchange for materials.
• Itō Yuying created the Diagram’s trial ground and explained its training benefits, but Black Zetsu leaked its existence and brought the other villages’ Kage to Konoha to negotiate.
