Golden flames surged into the sky.
Ryuto cupped his hands at his waist, compressing the energy between his palms until it gave off a piercing hum.
Opposite him, the enormous black Truth-Seeking Orb above Hyūga Tenshu's head slowly pressed down.
"Ka... me..." Ryuto roared. "Hame... ha!!!"
BOOM!!!
The thick pillar of golden light hurtled straight toward the enormous black sphere like a roaring dragon.
Tenshu pressed both hands downward, blue-gold light flickering wildly in his Tenseigan.
"Stop it!"
The energy flowing across the black sphere's surface instantly solidified.
The next second.
The golden pillar struck the exact center of the sphere head-on.
There was no sound.
First came absolute silence, then-
HUM!!!
Blinding white light exploded, and everyone instinctively shut their eyes for a moment.
Then came a terrifying shock wave, surging outward from the collision in every direction like a tsunami.
Several layers were forcibly scoured off the white lunar surface, sending rubble and dust into the sky.
Hashirama knelt beside Madara, the shock wave firmly blocked by Izuna's half-body Susanoo. His hand on Madara's chest did not budge. Green light continued to flow from it.
Madara lay on the ground. Along the edges of the horrifying hole in his right chest, new flesh wriggled and grew at a visible rate.
Very slowly, but it was indeed growing.
Madara kept his eyes closed, his brows tightly knitted. He could feel Hashirama's life force and those special cells flowing into his body, warm and soothing. But deeper within, where his eyes were, something more unfamiliar stirred, as though something was about to emerge.
He resisted the urge to open his eyes.
At the center of the battlefield, the white light faded.
The enormous black sphere... had shattered.
Like broken glass, it split into countless pieces, then dissolved into black smoke.
