Susanoo returns

Aboard the Marine warship, the five Vice Admirals thawed all the frozen Marine soldiers.

Although they had been thawed, their bodies were still cold, and they kept shivering. They likely would not regain their fighting strength without a period of rest.

Onigumo said:

"Let's go. We'll help too!"

Mole asked, "Which side do we go to first?"

Onigumo said, "Capture the leader first. We'll go after Satoru Gojo!"

Yamakaji pointed at Esdeath and the others and said:

"Onigumo, are you sure?"

"He's the monster who brought these monsters under his command. Can the five of us take him?"

The other three Vice Admirals also looked over, clearly doubting that the five of them could defeat Satoru Gojo.

"If we reinforce the Three Admirals, no one will be holding Satoru Gojo back. He could join the fighting at any moment. Whichever battlefield he goes to, he would surely be enough to decide its outcome."

After a pause, Onigumo continued:

"We have to hold Satoru Gojo back. Once Admiral Kizaru defeats that Enel, he can join forces with Admiral Akainu and Admiral Kuzan to defeat Esdeath and Sasuke one by one!"

Mole understood at once and said:

"Then the three Admirals can join forces. No matter how powerful Satoru Gojo is, he couldn't possibly stop them!"

"So that's why! No wonder Admiral Kizaru still hasn't gone all out, even though he could clearly defeat Enel quickly. He must be waiting for us to finish treating the soldiers and go hold Satoru Gojo back!"

Struck by a sudden realization, Yamakaji slapped his forehead.

Kizaru: ...

Having made up their minds, the five Vice Admirals-Momonga, Yamakaji, Doberman, Onigumo, and Strawberry-used Geppo to charge toward Satoru Gojo.

Before long, they arrived in front of him.

Looking at the five Vice Admirals surrounding him, Satoru Gojo kept his arms folded and said:

"Well, well, are you going five against one?"

Onigumo said, "Don't blame us for fighting unfairly. You're too strong!"

"It's fine. I don't mind, because..."

The corners of Satoru Gojo's mouth lifted into a mocking smile as he continued:

"You're so weak!"

Yamakaji said, "You could fight Admiral Kizaru, so you're certainly powerful, but aren't you looking down on us a little too much?"

"I'm only telling the truth. After all, you don't even have the strength to stay on your feet in front of me!"

As his words fell, an incomparably powerful surge of Conqueror's Haki erupted from Satoru Gojo.

"What?!"

Momonga, Yamakaji, Doberman, Onigumo, and Strawberry all felt their bodies grow heavy.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Geppo could no longer keep them in the air. With five tremendous crashes, the five Vice Admirals smashed into the ice.

"Aaah!"

Half-kneeling in the craters they had made, the five Vice Admirals roared and struggled to stand.

Without even looking at the five struggling men in the craters, Satoru Gojo remained floating in the air with his arms folded and said in a tone that brooked no argument:

"Stay on your knees!"

With every word Satoru Gojo spoke, the force weighing down on them seemed to increase.

They had never encountered such powerful Conqueror's Haki. Even Shanks's Conqueror's Haki surely fell far short of this!

"Urgh!"

Unable to withstand the tremendous pressure, the Vice Admirals spat blood onto the ice.

Only then did Satoru Gojo withdraw his Conqueror's Haki and say:

"If you don't want to die, stay here and watch them fight!"

Satoru Gojo had no intention of killing them, because he could use them as hostages to demand money from the Marines. After all, founding a nation would certainly require a great deal of funding!

"Haah! Haah! Haah!"

Feeling the pressure on their bodies disappear, Onigumo and the others gasped for breath.

After recovering a little strength, they stood up. However, they no longer acted rashly, because there was no point.

Over on Sasuke's side.

"Susanoo!"

Akainu's magma attacks were truly annoying, so Sasuke decisively used his Mangekyō Sharingan's ability.

As his words fell, a Purple Giant rose from the ground.

It completely enveloped Sasuke.

Just as in his earlier battle with Pica, this was merely Susanoo's half-complete form.

Sasuke felt that even Akainu was not enough to make him use his complete Susanoo.

If Akainu knew that Sasuke gave him the same treatment as one of Doflamingo's officers, he would certainly be furious.

No matter what, he was a Marine Admiral whose name struck fear into pirates. This was far too dismissive!

"What ability is that?"

The five Marine Vice Admirals, forced to become spectators, watched in astonishment.

They had never seen a Purple Giant like this. After all, they had not personally witnessed the earlier battle in Dressrosa.

But they sensed a tremendous threat from this giant.

"Meteor Volcano!"

Akainu turned both fists into magma and repeatedly punched toward the sky, launching a mass of enormous Magma Fists into the air. Then, like a meteor shower, the Magma Fists rained down from above, engulfing Sasuke and his Susanoo.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Magma struck Susanoo and the ice. The ice melted and evaporated, producing thick clouds of steam.

Meteor Volcano was one of Akainu's extremely powerful moves. It had always been unstoppable, with nothing able to withstand it.

"Huh? How is that possible?!"

The next instant, Akainu's eyes suddenly widened, filled with disbelief that would not fade.

His Meteor Volcano had actually failed to melt Susanoo!

"How could this happen?"

Even Akainu's voice carried astonishment.

"The Purple Giant is completely unharmed!"

"Akainu's Meteor Volcano actually had no effect!"

The Vice Admirals could not believe the sight before them.

Dressrosa's urban district.

"Heavens! So powerful!"

"Am I seeing things?"

"Marine Admiral Akainu's attack actually failed to break through the Purple Giant's defenses."

"Lord Sasuke is incredible!"

"Go, Lord Sasuke!"

The civilians of Dressrosa were also shocked as they watched Sasuke's battle.

Sasuke exuded the composure of the strong with every movement. His valiant figure in battle was broadcast through the Image Den Den Mushi, earning him a crowd of adoring male and female fans.

On the battlefield, Sasuke was still locked in fierce combat with Akainu.

Akainu unleashed everything he had, throwing out powerful moves as though they cost him nothing.

"Great Eruption!"

"Meteor Volcano!"

"Canine Red Lotus!"

"Hell Hound!"

Bang!

"Oh? You actually managed to put a crack in my Susanoo!"

Sasuke was a little surprised as he looked at the damage Akainu's Hell Hound had inflicted on Susanoo.

"But that little ability won't be enough to hit me!"

Even if Susanoo had been cracked, that and an attack actually reaching him were two entirely different things.

One of Akainu's ultimate moves had only barely managed to crack Susanoo.

"Now it's my turn!"

His words fell.

Whoosh!

The sound of something cutting through the air rang out.

The purple Susanoo raised its arm and swept its palm toward Akainu.

In the blink of an eye, Susanoo's palm reached Akainu.

Having overused his ability, Akainu was a little too slow to react. By the time he saw the purple Susanoo's arm, it was already too late.

Susanoo's palm swept Akainu away.

"Urgh!"

Blood immediately sprayed through the air.

His body was blasted away like a kite with a snapped string.

He slammed hard into the ice.

He skidded across it, leaving a deep trail.

The blow left Akainu seeing stars.

"How is that possible?!"

"Admiral Akainu was actually..."

The Vice Admirals all stared with wide eyes.

In their minds, Akainu was invincible, possessing formidable strength.

Yet even someone like him had been slapped away by Uchiha Sasuke.

They were utterly baffled. Just who were these Jujutsu Pirates, and how could they be this powerful?
