The air was thick with gunpowder.

The strange man wearing a boar's head mask pointed his two chipped, serrated swords at Sasuke from a distance, his stance radiating menace.
A primal, wild aura emanated from him, as though he would charge recklessly at any second and tear his enemy apart in the most savage way possible.
"Come on!"
A muffled, excited roar came from beneath the boar's head mask.
"Fight me! Let me see what you're made of!"
Sasuke's gaze did not waver in the slightest.
He had not even drawn his sword.
He simply stood there quietly, watching the boar-man bounce around, his eyes looking at him as though he were a baboon at the zoo far too eager to perform.
Boring.
Even a little ridiculous.
Provocation at this level did not even warrant a frown from him.
Caught between them, Tanjiro looked troubled.
He could smell that, although the boar-man's aura was savage, he lacked the evil of a demon.
He was probably a swordsman of the Demon Slayer Corps too.

He seemed completely incapable of understanding the word "cooperation."
Just as swords were drawn and the atmosphere had grown unbearably awkward.
