The Yinming Clan originated in ancient times and endured into the present era, though even its enemies did not know the full extent of its population or strength. Its members were regarded as monstrous beings whose continued existence made them exceptionally difficult to eliminate 88.

Records from the Zither Saint Palace connect the clan to the destruction of the Zither Saint Palace and to the internal strife that followed the death of the Big Dipper Divine Palace Master. The clan was also implicated in the destruction of the Primordial Heavenly Court alongside the Primordial Great Arm Ape Clan; after the Heavenly Court fell, it rapidly rose to prominence, likely by acquiring part of its treasury 154 331 364.

The clan sought Foundation Tree fragments, storing large quantities in its strongholds and treasuries. Its apparent long-term ambition was to control the myriad realms and suppress all heavens; possessing a restored Foundation Tree would allow convenient travel between worlds 154 387 388.

Lower-Realm Headquarters

Lu Yiping and the Dragon Horn Golden Ox infiltrate the lower-realm headquarters after learning its location from the Purple Extreme Demon Race. Lu Yiping seizes control of its defensive formation, annihilates its forces with divine lightning, the Wheel of All Beings’ Life and Death, and the Chaos Bell, and destroys its central command 342 343.

God Realm Strongholds

Following leads from captured agents, Lu Yiping destroys the Tianshui Continent nest beneath the Black Demon Land and learns that the clan’s Feilong Continent headquarters is hidden inside the Xingfeng Divine Sect. The Xingfeng Divine Sect and its embedded Yinming Clan forces are subsequently annihilated 387 399.

Hunt for the Holy Lord

After discovering that the Holy Lord holds Jade Discs of Creation, Lu Yiping searches the Immortal Realm through captured agents, Haotian’s memories, and information from the Seven Treasures Chamber of Commerce. The Hailan Immortal Sect ancestor leads him indirectly to Raoping Continent, where the Jade Discs locate the Holy Lord 427 429 430.

Final Destruction

The Holy Lord attempts to flee with the Void Ship but is defeated by Lu Yiping’s thousand Great Daos. Lu Yiping takes his three Jade Discs of Creation, feeds his power to the Foundation Tree, and incinerates him. Over the following decades, Lu Yiping and the Dragon Horn Golden Ox travel through the myriad worlds to eliminate the clan’s remaining branches 431.
