Background

Ning Feng was an eighteen-year-old Naruto fan and orphan in his previous life. After falling asleep while revisiting the series, he awakened in a world where people entered the Hokage online game to acquire powers for fighting demonic beasts. His new body belonged to a state-raised orphan attending Qinglong High School 1 2 7 28.

Although academically accomplished, he had been excluded from the closed beta because tests indicated that he could not extract chakra. Ning Feng recognised that ordinary extraction methods might simply be incompatible with his constitution. After activating the Super Ninja System, he chose Konoha and the Uchiha Clan despite contemporary strategy guides dismissing both Konoha and the Sharingan 1 2 3 4.

Personality

Ning Feng is ambitious but generally uninterested in competing for his classmates' approval. He refuses Liu Yue's offer to carry him, prefers to improve quietly, and regards conspicuous displays of strength as a way to attract unwanted attention. His knowledge of Naruto gives him confidence, but he also recognises when his reserves or experience fall short of established ninja 3 14 23 24 50.

His attachment to the Uchiha family is especially strong because he had never experienced that warmth in his previous life. He treats threats against the clan as personal attacks and wants to prevent the miserable futures awaiting his brothers and teacher. His protectiveness also extends to civilians: when pursued by Iron Hand, he proposes drawing the enemy away from populated areas 7 56 71 109 235.

He is calculating in battle and politics. He uses feints, fear, surprise attacks, and even his childish appearance to gain advantages. Despite his confidence, he respects useful expertise. He sincerely honours Mount Myōboku's sages and values the professors' scientific knowledge for accelerating ninjutsu development 83 85 123.

Konoha's Rising Prodigy

After defeating hostile players and Kirigakure spies, Ning Feng intervenes in the attempt to abduct Kushina. His tactics and Two-Tomoe Sharingan impress Minato enough to earn an Anbu invitation without attending the Ninja Academy. Root's subsequent ambush fails, leaving him stronger and better equipped 10 11 20 22 35 36.

His real-world defence of the school against demonic beasts overturns his classmates' belief that he is powerless. A video of his victory spreads widely, and his later defeat of an A-rank beast earns official commendation 27 28 61.

Akatsuki and the Rise of Amegakure

During an Anbu intelligence mission, Ning Feng encounters the fledgling Akatsuki and chooses its side against Hanzō. His surprise attack and Flying Thunder God tactics help defeat Hanzō, bringing him into close contact with Konan, Nagato, and Yahiko 42 44 45 46 49.

As Third Rain Shadow, he secures resources from Ōnoki, brings factories and workshops to Amegakure, and orders Yahiko to establish a Ninja Academy. His position receives Konoha's backing, and Amegakure seeks recognition as the Sixth Great Ninja Village 109 118 121.

His administration improves order and merchant access, increasing commissioned missions and economic activity. He also obtains skilled Land of Iron blacksmiths and orders his own craftsmen to learn their techniques 190 198.

Nine-Tails Crisis and Inter-Village Conflict

Ning Feng helps resolve the Nine-Tails turmoil, drives Obito away, and improves the Uchiha Clan's standing within Konoha. He subsequently acquires half of the Nine-Tails and becomes its perfect Jinchūriki 150 162.

His expansionist methods include abducting Rasa for gold production and confronting Kirigakure after Nagato is attacked. Obito answers by arranging a joint assault with Kirigakure, Iwagakure, and Kumogakure, prompting Ning Feng's use of Tengai Shinsei 170 178 180 182.

Reincarnated Kage and Madara

With the Rinnegan awakened, Ning Feng battles large Kumogakure forces and later confronts reincarnated Kage. Their regeneration and White Zetsu interference make sealing them more difficult than simply defeating them 214 226.

The struggle against Madara and Kabuto becomes a contest of pursuit, adaptation, and hidden resources. Ning Feng can overpower Madara in direct exchanges, but cannot end the conflict while his enemies remain concealed. Madara later uses Ning Feng's own cells to increase his strength enough to exchange sword blows evenly 255 279 285 308.

Ten-Tails and Unification

Ning Feng reaches Six Paths Level, acquires Mind's Eye, and seals the Ten-Tails within himself. Madara consequently loses his Six Paths Sage Mode 313 314.

After receiving the Sage of Six Paths' legacy, Ning Feng surpasses that level. The unified Ninja Country places the Land of Rain at its head, while he passes the Rain Shadow position to Minato. During two years of seclusion, he defeats arriving Ōtsutsuki Clan members and eventually returns with the resurrected Hashirama and Tobirama 315.
