Shane returned to Laugh Tale, gathered the old era and the world's peoples around him, and ushered in a new Devil Fruit age. After crushing a rebellion at the Reverie and confronting Doflamingo, Shane declared he would return to the seas as the moon began to fall.

• Dragon drove Smoker from Loguetown and sent Luffy toward Reverse Mountain, where the Straw Hats encountered Shane and the Supernovas.
• Kizaru arrived to seize the Log Poses, but stopped when he saw Shane and reported the gathering of powerful figures to Sengoku.
• God's Shichibukai, the Roger Pirates, and other legends converged on Laugh Tale, where Shane summoned the world's peoples and declared that their God had returned.
• Shane revealed the City of Heaven as a virtual projection, then made Devil Fruits rain across the world and announced a new era.
• As disasters spread and Shane summoned the kings to the Reverie, a rebellion gathered against him while Arlong and Hody Jones's plan ended in a deadly eruption and tsunami.
• The new kings attacked Shane at the Reverie with Mechanical Cyborgs, but his Seraphim and Pacifistas defeated them, and the machines turned on their own masters.
• Doflamingo confessed that he had engineered the rebellion to make Shane act again and begged Shane to erase him from the world.
• Shane took the Golden Throne and declared that he would return to the seas as the moon began to fall.

Shane’s Pirate Expo turned Alabasta into a contest to choose a new god, and Rocks won by sacrificing his life to reshape the Blue Planet. The world entered a new age of exploration, while Shane remained on the island as powerful figures approached.

• Shane warned that the end was two years away, then returned to the past through a gate and left Robin a broadcast explaining Haki and Devil Fruit advancement.
• Robin publicized the Alabasta Pirate Expo and its Log Pose prize, drawing pirates and Marines to compete for a route to the City of Heaven.
• Akainu defeated Blackbeard and his crew, but Rocks took the three Devil Fruits from Teach’s body and devastated Alabasta with their combined powers.
• Rocks killed several challengers and confronted Dragon, who rescued Luffy and fought back with wind and Haki.
• Rocks sank the ancient kingdom and transformed the moon and Blue Planet, then claimed the Log Pose and wished to become a god and create a new world.
• Shane granted Rocks his wish, and Rocks died as the moon merged with the Blue Planet, which awakened as a Devil planet and formed a supercontinent.
• Shane declared himself God King as the world rebuilt, launched space exploration, and faced Enel’s defense against arriving Space Pirates.
• Shane relaxed with Aokiji on a remote island, then told him to take King out as Akainu and Ryokugyu approached by ship.
