Rossi and the Donquixote Family left the North Blue, crossed into the Grand Line, and defeated the slave-trading operation on Beast Fighting Island. They then reached Food Island, where they uncovered Kaiyu’s addictive poison cuisine and began fighting him and his pirate captains.

• Dragon urged Butlerage Port’s people to unite, while Cliff’s Raiders were massacred by a pale blue-haired boy and a black-clad swordsman.
• Rossi and Doflamingo trained under Dragon, fought off Cipher Pol No. 9 agents, and returned to Hope Port after Dragon’s organization was attacked.
• Rossi and Doflamingo left the North Blue with their companions, while Rossi arranged for Germa to protect family members who stayed behind.
• The Donquixote Family crossed Reverse Mountain, survived dangerous Grand Line waters, and arrived at Beast Fighting Island, where Diamante killed Vulture in the arena.
• Rossi and his crew uncovered Breed’s control of Oguri Cap, Rody, and the Mink Tribe children through emotion-suppressing collars, then freed the victims after Breed was killed.

The Donquixote Family survived Ricardo's assault and cooperated with Tsuru to challenge Gamenio, defeating his forces and taking Carnival Island while he escaped. The family then pursued a Shichibukai position and commissioned a ship at Water 7, where news of Gol D. Roger's recognition as Pirate King disrupted their plans.

• Rossi and Doffy combined Sandai Kitetsu with electrified strings to wound Ricardo and force his withdrawal from Food Island.
• Rossi supplied evidence of Gamenio's drug operations to Tsuru, who destroyed the plantation and arranged for the Donquixote Family to assume his route if they defeated him.
• Rossi and Doflamingo allied with Vinsmoke Judge, survived Gamenio's tsunami, and led the remaining attackers onto Carnival Island.
• Diamante killed Kaiyu despite his poisoning, while Rossi and Gion exploited Gamenio's inability to use multiple copied abilities at once.
• Rossi and Doffy pursued Gamenio to the shore, where Ricardo died holding them off and Gamenio escaped as Tsuru arrived.
• The Donquixote Family took control of Carnival Island, Diamante ate the Gold-Gold Fruit, and Rossi and Doflamingo planned to hijack the Celestial Dragons' tribute to secure a Shichibukai title.

Rossi and the Donquixote Family attacked the Celestial Dragons’ tribute fleet, survived a battle with the World Government’s elite forces, and accepted Doflamingo’s Shichibukai appointment. After learning that Anok’s daughter Baruf Tani was imprisoned, Rossi planned a break-in at Impel Down and went to Marineford, where Alucard confronted him.

• Rossi and the Donquixote Family hijacked the heavenly tribute, killed Saint Fluctuoso, and fought Cipher Pol Aigis Zero and the Holy Knights, while the Hobby-Hobby Fruit erased several family members from memory.
• Rossi and Doffy defeated the attackers, but a vast presence killed the surviving Hobby-Hobby Fruit user before she could finish revealing what she knew.
• Tsuru offered Doflamingo the Shichibukai title, and he returned the tribute and Fluctuoso before news of Roger’s capture spread.
• Anok asked Rossi and Doffy to rescue his daughter Baruf Tani from Impel Down, and Rossi proposed infiltrating the prison to obtain Magellan’s poison and antidote.
• Rossi volunteered to attend the Marines’ Shichibukai summons, taking Trebol with him while Doffy stayed to oversee the family’s other work.
• At Marineford, Rossi entered the meeting room on Doflamingo’s behalf, and Alucard attacked him with spikes before someone shouted for him to stop.

Rossi helped defeat Shiki, broke him and other prisoners out of Impel Down, and brought his Family to the East Blue for Roger’s execution. After clashing with Mihawk and recruiting Tani, Rossi returned to the Family’s affairs and offered to fund Tom’s Sea Train project.

• Kong announced Roger’s coming execution as the opening of a new era, while Garp met Rossi and heard his views on the World Government.
• Shiki attacked Marine Headquarters with a falling island, but Garp and Sengoku defeated him as Rossi and the Shichibukai fought off the Flying Pirates.
• Rossi decided to use Dressrosa as the Family’s New World supply base, then traveled to Impel Down and stole research materials while freeing Shiki, Baruf Tani, Tieshidaino, and other prisoners.
• Shiki and the escapees seized a warship and fled Impel Down, while Rossi told Tani that her father was still alive and led the group toward the East Blue.
• Rossi reunited with Doffy’s Family before Roger’s execution, where Roger announced that his treasure awaited whoever found it, and afterward, Mihawk challenged Rossi to a duel.
• Rossi recruited Tani into the Family and fought Mihawk at Beast Fighting Island, where Mihawk nearly cut him in two before Doffy treated Rossi and reattached Mihawk’s arm.
• Crocodile changed course to rebuild his strength, while Doffy confronted a masked observer and the Family’s blond man revealed that threads had covered the arena.
• Rossi promised to fund Tom’s Sea Train at his trial, and his attendant brought in cases filled with banknotes.
