Uchiha Zongyan watched from the sidelines with his father. The major ninja clans were far from weak, yet they still could not subdue Tsunade and Jiraiya.
Growing a little impatient with the wait, Zongyan stepped forward and slowly walked onto the battlefield.
"You deal with Jiraiya. Leave Tsunade to me."
His voice was quiet, but it reached everyone's ears clearly.
The Hyuga and the others exchanged glances, then adjusted their formation in unspoken agreement and attacked Jiraiya.
Zongyan casually picked up a Ninja Blade from the ground. He had no intention of killing either of them.
The more talent, the better. Besides, it was not as though he had no way to control them.
"Tsunade, let me be your opponent."
Tsunade stared at him, the veins on her fists throbbing.
She sized up the little brat before her, her expression complicated and unreadable. Only after a long moment did she speak.
"You're Uchiha Zongyan, aren't you? You're even younger than I imagined."
Zongyan held the blade in his right hand, its tip angled toward the ground. His gaze lingered on Tsunade's face and chest for a moment.
"You're even younger than I imagined, too. And prettier."
Seeing the way he brazenly looked her over, Tsunade's expression darkened.
"A pervert at such a young age. Sure enough, not one of you Uchihas is any good."
Zongyan: "..."
In the distance, Fugaku pushed up the glasses on his nose, the corner of his mouth twitching at the sight.
Tsunade pushed off the ground, instantly cracking it. The tremendous recoil sent her hurtling forward, her right fist driving straight at Zongyan's face with immense force.
Zongyan neither dodged nor evaded. He slashed his Ninja Blade horizontally, its gleam like a blazing sun.
"Sun Breathing, First Form: Dance!"
The blade met her monstrous punch
