Zongyan used Susanoo to hold off Obito and Darui until they withdrew, then regrouped with Itachi as the allied fronts reported success. Back at camp, he recovered with items from his system and noticed that he had another draw available.
Zongyan gave Itachi the cursed blade Yatsufusa and warned him about its harmful side effects. As fighting continued on the eastern border, Itachi used the sword to build a roster of corpse puppets and ended the chapter by adding a powerful Cloud ninja to his collection.
After the allied villages withdrew, Zongyan and Uchiha Itachi returned to Konoha, where they found the village in turmoil. Tsunade and Jiraiya confronted Uchiha Fugaku over Hiruzen Sarutobi’s death, but the major shinobi clans joined the fight against them just as Zongyan arrived.
Uchiha Zongyan defeated Tsunade and used his Mangekyō abilities to inscribe a Cursed Seal and take partial control of her body and soul. He then moved Tsunade toward the bound Jiraiya and taunted him.
Zongyan used his Mangekyō Sharingan to control Tsunade and Jiraiya, assigning them roles in the Uchiha’s service before bringing them to the clan compound. After telling Mikoto what happened, he asked Uchiha Toru for an update on the research into Tamayo’s medicine.
Zongyan brought an antidote to the Demon Slayer World and used it to turn Nezuko back into a human. After Tanjiro tearfully thanked him, a Demon Slayer Corps member summoned Zongyan to meet the Master.
Zongyan spoke with Kagaya Ubuyashiki about the Shinobi World, gave him the remaining antidote, and then asked Tanjiro to take him to his family home. There, Tanjiro led Zongyan to a mountain clearing where they found the Blue Spider Lilies he had been seeking.
Zongyan brought Tanjiro and Nezuko from Mount Fujikasane to the Uchiha Clan’s world after promising to resurrect Tanjiro’s family. He then showed Muzan the Blue Spider Lilies, which Muzan had sought for nearly a thousand years.
Muzan used the Blue Spider Lily to overcome his weakness to sunlight and shared the change with the Twelve Kizuki. As Tanjiro and Nezuko arrived, Muzan and his demons confronted them in the Uchiha Clan Compound.
Uchiha Zongyan stopped Tanjiro from attacking Muzan, explaining that Muzan was dead in Tanjiro’s world but now served the Uchiha Clan in the Shinobi World. After Muzan agreed to recruit people with unusual abilities and Clan Elder Yashiro reported progress on studying foreign technologies, Zongyan prepared to materialize J.A.R.V.I.S.
Zongyan brought J.A.R.V.I.S. to Uchiha Fugaku and proposed using its industrial knowledge to build a company that would bind the ninja clans through shared interests. After Uchiha Industries opened and recruited hundreds of workers, J.A.R.V.I.S. predicted that ninja strength would greatly shorten the time needed to establish industry.
Three months after the Uchiha built the Shinobi World's first train, Zongyan welcomed the first group of recruited craftsmen, apprentices, and children with shinobi potential to Konoha. He recognized a suspicious man among them, and after the stranger dodged three attacks, he revealed that he knew Zongyan's identity.
Zongyan discovered that Orochimaru had obtained the missing demon and recruited him to serve the Uchiha in exchange for access to what he sought. After placing a cursed seal on Orochimaru to control him, Zongyan brought him to the Uchiha research institute, where Orochimaru became fascinated by its technology.
After becoming clan head, nine-year-old Zongyan planned a complete redesign of the Uchiha Clan Grounds and secured the elders’ support. Construction began on a large new compound, and the chapter left clan members excited about its promised modern amenities.
As the Uchiha relocated to their new Clan Grounds, Zongyan began his plan to increase the clan’s population by encouraging childbirth and early marriage. He persuaded Uchiha Itachi to pursue Uchiha Izumi, then headed to the main hall to begin putting the plan in writing.
