Toyotomi Yinglang decided to establish a colonial company to explore and exploit the other continents he had sensed, arguing that the Empire needed their resources, people, and land. He assigned Yutian to prepare the Great Britain East India Company and reassured Tsunade and Kushina that colonization served the Empire’s needs.

  • Yutian reported that the Great British Empire’s population had passed 1.08 million and could exceed 1.5 million the following year.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang revealed that he had sensed other continents and announced plans to colonize them through a company that would keep the Empire formally separate from its operations.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang outlined plans to impose colonial and religious rule on black populations and enslave white populations through Triangle Trade, while Tsunade challenged his reasoning and eventually fell silent.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang ordered Yutian to prepare the Great Britain East India Company and told Tsunade that the Empire would stop colonizing only when it no longer needed to.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang told Kushina that he was colonizing for the Empire’s needs and said Jilan would understand when he grew up.

Ch. 256Triangular trade

Yutian launched the Empire’s triangular trade by selling goods in the Land of Fire and buying slaves to transport back across the ocean. After reporting a profit of 11,900 ryo, he and Toyotomi Yinglang expected the trade to expand, while Sakura Haruno questioned the Empire’s use of slavery.

  • Yutian explained to Shanbao that the Empire would sell goods in the Shinobi World, use the silver to buy slaves, and avoid the costs of war.

Ch. 257Where the profits went

Toyotomi Yinglang explained how Triangle Trade profits funded the Institute of Technology and domestic improvements, while Sasori completed a more effective, cheaper Gene Serum. The chapter left Yinglang focused on using wealth and technology to strengthen the Empire, as he spent time with Kushina, Jilan, and Tsunade.

  • Toyotomi Yinglang told Yutian to build schools across the Empire, establish Royal Academy branch campuses, recruit teachers, and create six-year primary and secondary schools followed by four-year universities.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang argued that Imperial education would teach students to fight, farm, trade, and govern, unlike Konoha’s Ninja Academy, which he said focused on fighting and loyalty to Konoha.
  • Sakura Haruno visited Sasori at the Institute of Technology, and he told her he would stay in the Empire because Yinglang had given him everything; Sakura said Yinglang had given her everything too.

  • Black Zetsu reported that Obito had given a Sharingan to Kakashi after being crushed and was recovering with White Zetsu at Madara Uchiha's place.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang handed Madara Uchiha's Rinnegan to Black Zetsu, explained their authority restrictions, and ordered him to return Kakashi's Sharingan to Obito.
  • The Evil God revealed the Fear Hammer, which absorbed wartime fear, pain, and despair and could approach the Ten-Tails in strength.
  • The Evil God planned to send the Death Fang against Konoha to distract Minato Namikaze and give Black Zetsu an opportunity to act.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang assigned the Fear Hammer to Hashirama Senju, the Death Fang to Minato Namikaze, and the Heavenly Evil God Wings to the other Kage after learning the colossi could not be mass-produced.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang later told the Evil God that the war would end soon, but not yet, and reaffirmed his confidence in his planning.

Ch. 260Kamui

Obito recovered under Madara’s care, then witnessed Kakashi kill Rin and awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan, using Kamui to slaughter the Kirigakure pursuers. Black Zetsu and the Evil God regarded Obito as a potential vessel, while Kakashi remained unaware that Obito had seen Rin die.

  • Madara told Obito that White Zetsu cells had repaired his body and ordered him to rest until he recovered.
  • Black Zetsu reported that Minato Namikaze had been lured away, and the Evil God anticipated Obito witnessing Rin’s death.

  • Toyotomi Yinglang reviewed the Triangle Trade report with Yutian and learned that profits had tripled from the previous year.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang explained that war would reduce populations and fighting strength while enriching the powerful, and said Konoha would cling to life but not perish because the Sage of Six Paths would prevent it.
  • Yutian asked whether the Empire would remain unchanged, and Toyotomi Yinglang promised it would grow stronger, larger, and wealthier without changing for the worse.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang told Kushina that the Empire's future was also Jilan's future, then reassured Tsunade that the Empire would prosper as the Shinobi World War continued.

Ch. 264Our Journey Is to the Stars and the Sea

  • Toyotomi Yinglang told Tsunade that the Empire would keep expanding until no land remained to explore, though they would not live to see that end.

Ch. 265Black Horn Kingdom

Toyotomi Yinglang used Dragon Essence power to stop Jilan from eating hair while Yutian expanded the Great British Empire’s influence overseas by establishing a vassal kingdom and planning to divide a continent among three controlled states. Back in the New Capital, Yinglang praised Yutian’s work and told Sakura Haruno that the Empire would change and grow stronger.

  • Toyotomi Yinglang treated Jilan with Dragon Essence power, removing the pica factor that made him eat hair.
  • Yutian landed on an island, appointed the native chief Black Horn as king, and made the Black Horn Kingdom a Great British vassal with a restricted army.
  • Yutian ordered officials to divide a newly sighted continent into three cold-weapon kingdoms, each bound by a Great Britain East India Company contract.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang told Sakura Haruno that the Black Horn people were merely alive and insisted that the Empire would change for the better.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang read Yutian’s report and praised him as a Pillar of the Great British Empire.

Ch. 266Three Kingdoms Continent

Yutian established the Thousand Mountains Kingdom, Yellow Sand Kingdom, and Hundred Trees Kingdom on the Three Kingdoms Continent, binding their kings to the Great Britain East India Company and restricting their armies. Back in the New Capital, Toyotomi Yinglang approved the expansion and told Sakura Haruno the Empire would keep expanding until no land remained.

  • Yutian divided the continent into three resource-producing kingdoms and planned to keep them dependent on the Empire and unable to wage major wars.
  • Yutian forced Mutu to sign the East India Company contract, made him king of the Hundred Trees Kingdom, and ordered Hei Bao to help establish the state.
  • Yutian assigned Hei Heishui to help establish the Thousand Mountains Kingdom and told him immigrants from the Shinobi World would supply workers for the Empire’s mining needs.

  • Toyotomi Yinglang approved the expansion, told Sakura Haruno that the Empire would expand until there was nowhere left to expand, and sent her to train.

Ch. 267White gloves

Yutian and Toyotomi Yinglang expanded the Empire’s slave-trading network, targeting white people on a newly discovered continent and using ostensibly independent trading companies as fronts. The chapter ended with Yinglang spending time with Kushina and their young son Jilan, promising to build a future for him.

  • Yutian identified white people on the newly discovered continent as valuable slave-trading goods and ordered Takeo to map a trade route while investigating the local tribes and resources.
  • At a secret Shinobi World port, Yutian told Takeo to establish at least twenty Imperial-owned trading companies disguised as independent merchants and replace unreliable intermediaries.
  • Takeo met Lin De in the Land of Fire, raised the prices of white slaves, and instructed him to find more Imperial fronts.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang approved the slave prices in a report and told Sakura Haruno the Empire would stop selling slaves when it no longer needed to.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang joined Kushina and Jilan in the palace garden and told Kushina that his growing wealth would secure their son’s future.

Ch. 268Jade slaves

  • Yutian reported that the British Continent had 1.6 million people, described the value of white slaves, and listed the populations and resources of four vassal kingdoms.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang learned that the Yellow Sand Kingdom had petroleum and told Yutian to send troops to protect it, though the Empire could not yet use the resource.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang joined Kushina and Jilan in the garden, where he joked that Jilan’s large appetite promised a powerful future.
  • Pakura and Karura told each other they did not regret coming to the Empire, where they felt they could live as people rather than tools or weapons.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang told Pakura and Karura that he intended to keep expanding the Empire, then ordered Pakura to practice her Scorch Release because the Empire needed her strength.

Ch. 269Cockfighting

Toyotomi Yinglang and Tsunade discussed the Shinobi World War as a cockfighting pit where ninja died for nobles’ benefit, while Yutian continued reviewing intelligence. Yinglang then visited Kushina and Jilan, discovering the child’s extraordinary digestion as he ate five bowls of rice.

  • Toyotomi Yinglang compared ninja to fighting cocks and described the Will of Fire as stimulant-laced feed and Konoha as a cockfighting pit.
  • Yutian asked what the Empire’s future would be like, and Yinglang assured him it would be good because they were not fighting cocks.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang and Tsunade visited Kushina and found Jilan eagerly eating pastry after already having three bowls.
  • Yinglang fed Jilan five bowls of rice and used Dragon Essence to discover that the child digested food with extraordinary efficiency.

  • Toyotomi Yinglang showed Yutian techniques, drugs, and medicines, describing their powers and costs.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang displayed the treasury’s weapons and refused to give Yutian the Peerless Cursed Sword, Ten-Thousand Phenomena Mirror Armor, or Meridian-Eroding Greatsword.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang invited Yutian to choose a reward, and Yutian selected the Unity of Heaven and Humanity scroll.
  • Yutian asked about the Empire’s future, and Toyotomi Yinglang assured him it would be good because the Empire possessed the treasury’s resources.

Ch. 271Strategic weapons

Toyotomi Yinglang explained to Tsunade why the Empire’s strategic weapons had to remain under his control, then gave her a scroll teaching Unity of Heaven and Humanity. He rewarded Sasori with the Eight-Headed Serpent Bone Sword and later told Kushina that he trusted his disciple; the chapter ended with him urging infant Jilan to treat his future disciples well.

Ch. 272Three weapons

Toyotomi Yinglang gave Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan weapons suited to their abilities and watched them test the weapons at the Imperial Palace. He later told Kushina that strengthening his disciples was an investment in the Empire and in Jilan’s safety.

  • Toyotomi Yinglang presented Yahiko with the Reincarnation Prison-Suppressing Staff, Konan with the Pure White Sin-Condemning Kunai, and Nagato with the Infinite Golden Brick.

  • Konan silently defeated an Empire Super Soldier with her kunai, while Nagato used the Infinite Golden Brick to smash a stronger soldier into the ground.
  • Toyotomi Yinglang told Kushina that he treated his disciples well because their growth would strengthen the Empire and help keep Jilan safe.

Ch. 273Uchiha

Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan judged the Uchiha doomed and decided to target Hiruzen Sarutobi, while planning to collect Sharingan and send Uchiha souls to their teacher after the clan’s destruction. They trained together and ended the chapter expecting the Uchiha massacre to happen soon.

  • Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan assessed their strength as near the Super Kage threshold and chose Hiruzen Sarutobi as their target.
  • Yahiko argued that the Uchiha deserved their fate because of their history and ties to people who had harmed their teacher’s family.
  • Nagato said the group would take Sharingan after Konoha wiped out the Uchiha and send collected souls to their teacher for new lives.
  • The three trained together with their special weapons, improving their coordination and strength.
  • That night, Nagato told Konan he believed the Uchiha would be wiped out soon, and she accepted his warning.

Ch. 274Cowards and weaklings

On the Kirigakure battlefield, Nagato discovered that the Uchiha had been poisoned for decades and judged Shisui and Itachi too cowed to resist. Back at the Jashin Cult Headquarters, he said their teacher owed the Uchiha nothing and left with Yahiko and Konan to train.

  • Nagato watched Shisui and Itachi fight and called them a coward and a weakling who would not resist.
  • Nagato used his Golden Eyes to discover that a slow-acting poison had seeped into the Uchiha’s drinking water for decades, harming their chakra systems.
  • Nagato refused to warn Shisui and Itachi, and he, Yahiko, and Konan left the Kirigakure battlefield for the Land of Rain.
  • Nagato explained that generations of poison, discrimination, and suppression had changed the Uchiha and left them unable to resist.
  • At the Jashin Cult Headquarters, Nagato said their teacher would not deal with the Uchiha because he had repaid Elder Xuan and owed the rest of the clan nothing.
  • Nagato said he owed the Uchiha nothing because their teacher had given him his Sharingan, training, weapons, and path, then left to train with Yahiko and Konan.

Ch. 275Madara's death

Madara died, and Black Zetsu informed Toyotomi Yinglang and the Evil God that Obito’s era had begun. At the Jashin Cult headquarters, Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan discussed Obito’s power and plans before recommitting themselves to training and trying to change the Shinobi World.

  • Madara died in his underground cavern, and Black Zetsu recovered the sealed Rinnegan from his robes.
