"Where is this?"
After a dizzying whirl, Lumine opened her eyes again and found herself in a strange space. Dilapidated torii gates slowly rose around her, and the sky was a sickly dark red. A blood moon rose slowly, casting an oppressive pall.
"This is the Raiden Shogun's Plane of Euthymia."
Just then, Lumine noticed Yucheng behind her and hurried to his side. Having a friend beside her in an unknown, dangerous space made her feel a little more at ease.
"The Plane of Euthymia? What is that?"
"The true Raiden Shogun's Consciousness Space. This is where she resists the erosion of time."
"The true... Raiden Shogun?" Lumine followed Yucheng's gaze and saw the Raiden Shogun holding Engulfing Lightning, the Eye of Stormy Judgment shining brilliantly behind her.
"With you two, I had better confirm it personally." Without another word, the Raiden Shogun teleported in front of them and swung her blade down, lightning following close behind.

Yucheng and Lumine hurried to dodge, but the trailing lightning still blasted Lumine away. She slammed into the ground, leaving a long scrape behind her.
Lumine quickly righted herself, and her Dull Blade appeared in her hand. Only when she focused did she realize that the Raiden Shogun had teleported in front of her again. Another clean, decisive slash came down, and Lumine could only muster all her strength to block. The instant their weapons clashed, she felt unprecedented pressure that shook her arm numb.
The Raiden Shogun immediately spun into a sweeping kick, striking Lumine squarely in the right side of her waist and sending her flying. This time, Yucheng rushed over and caught her, but the tremendous impact made him stagger several steps backward before he could dissipate the force.
