Yūto exposed Danzo’s crimes, helped Sara reclaim and rebuild Rōran, and then investigated Obito’s approach to the Akatsuki. The arc left Yūto and Tsukimi inside Akatsuki’s base after Tsukimi defeated the members who challenged them.

• Yūto showed the Third Hokage Danzo’s Sharingan arm and revealed Danzo and Orochimaru’s child experiments, then took control of Root while Minato assumed responsibility for the investigation.
• Yūto escorted Kazahana Sōsetsu to Rōran, where he and Pakura discovered Anrokuzan’s puppet army and helped Sara see that her people were being persecuted.
• Yūto destroyed Anrokuzan’s Dragon Vein-powered puppet, and Sōsetsu used the Dragon Vein to send Naruto and Hinata back to their own time.
• Sara led Rōran’s survivors in rebuilding, while Sōsetsu developed a Dragon Vein-powered water device and Yūto arranged an emergency grain delivery.
• Obito joined the Akatsuki under the name Madara Uchiha and tried to influence Nagato, while Yūto learned of his arrival and traveled to the Land of Rain.
• Yūto and Tsukimi met Yahiko and stayed at the Akatsuki base to learn about Madara’s influence, where Yūto challenged a hostile member and Tsukimi defeated every opponent who attacked her.

Yūto helped Yahiko take control of the Land of Rain and redirect Nagato’s power toward rebuilding, while thwarting Obito’s attempt to manipulate them. Back in Konoha, Yūto prepared joint Chunin Ninja Exams, where Pakura arrived as head examiner for the second round.

• Yūto defeated Nagato, exposed Obito, and persuaded Nagato to use the Rinnegan for construction and other peaceful work.
• Obito manipulated Hanzō into trapping Yahiko’s group, but Yūto and Tsukimi thwarted the ambush and defeated Hanzō’s forces.
• Yahiko spared Hanzō, who entrusted him with leadership of the Land of Rain, and Yahiko pledged to keep the country independent.
• Yūto and Tsukimi returned to Konoha, where Minato appointed Yūto head examiner for joint Chunin Ninja Exams.
• Yūto trained Chino, Izumi, and Itachi, then received the visiting village delegations as Pakura blocked Sunagakure’s team on the road.
• Pakura confronted the Sunagakure team over the village’s betrayal of her, then let them continue to Konoha injured.
• Yūto began the written exam and reprimanded proctors who concealed Chino’s cheating, while the candidates completed the test.
• Tsukimi joined as assistant examiner and Pakura introduced the second-round scroll contest, refusing a blond candidate’s demand for another draw.
