Ch. 134Kakuzu Refused to Be a Son

Bieshu Feifan forced Kakuzu into a business partnership by offering high prices for fresh or living shinobi with kekkei genkai and trading Kakuzu’s four clones for the Earth Grudge Fear Secret Technique. After Kakuzu signed their contract, he entered the locked-down Land of Water and was mistaken for the wanted Daddy Shinobi.

  • Bieshu Feifan repeatedly used genjutsu and beat Kakuzu until Kakuzu stopped resisting the forced father-son act, then shifted the discussion to business.

Ch. 135A worthy opponent

Bieshu Feifan confronted Kakuzu after Kakuzu returned from the Land of Water without capturing any bloodline Shinobi, explaining that Mist Ninja had mistaken him for Daddy Shinobi and destroyed two of his hearts. After they escaped the Third Mizukage’s pursuit, Kakuzu outlined a plan to replenish his hearts and recruit a team, while Bieshu Feifan urged him to keep future explanations brief.

  • Kakuzu returned to the hideout empty-handed and blamed Bieshu Feifan for causing Mist Ninja to mistake him for Daddy Shinobi and attack him, destroying two of his hearts.
  • Bieshu Feifan and Kakuzu spotted the pursuing Mist Ninja, led by the Third Mizukage, and fled using Wind Release to speed themselves along.
  • After escaping, Bieshu Feifan accused Kakuzu of failing to capture any bloodline Shinobi and pressured him with their contract, leading Kakuzu to challenge him to a fight.
  • Kakuzu lost the fight, then retreated indoors before later explaining that he needed to replenish his hearts and recruit people to help with reconnaissance, support, and other tasks.
  • Kakuzu delivered a lengthy analysis of his failure and proposed plans, and Bieshu Feifan told him to keep future explanations brief.

Ch. 136Formalizing the business

  • Bieshu Feifan and Kakuzu traded long speeches about the organization's plans until dawn, then agreed to stop their endless arguments and rest.
  • Bieshu Feifan named the organization the Shinobi World Offshore Triangle Shell Company with No Liability, and its recruitment flyers spread through underground black markets.
  • Bieshu Feifan and Kakuzu waited aboard a seized ship, then went to interview three masked Rogue Ninjas at an unfinished building.
  • Kakuzu beat the applicants after one threatened Bieshu Feifan, and Toudi Wuru Ergou quickly introduced himself and the others.

Ch. 137As Long as It Worked

Bieshu Feifan built a company that hired rogue shinobi to capture Kaguya Clan members for their special chakra, with Kakuzu leading its operations. After the company’s first raids brought back corpses and losses, Kōichi, a Root shinobi, joined the company, leaving Bieshu Feifan to suspect Danzo was preparing trouble.

  • Bieshu Feifan recruited more than twenty shinobi and explained that the company’s work was kidnapping members of the Kaguya and Yuki clans for their kekkei genkai.
  • Kakuzu gave the employees a long-winded speech about his role as chief of operations, then led their first mission against the Kaguya Clan.
  • The team returned with five Kaguya corpses, and Bieshu Feifan paid them twenty million before absorbing the corpses’ Shikotsumyaku chakra.
  • Kakuzu later returned with another Kaguya corpse, including a Jōnin, and reported that three employees had died and two had fled injured.
  • Kōichi, a Root shinobi Bieshu Feifan had previously knocked out, applied to the company and joined after Bieshu Feifan defended its hiring practices.
  • Bieshu Feifan suspected that Danzo had sent Kōichi to stir up trouble.

Ch. 138New Applicants

Bieshu Feifan acquired Ice Release from a Yuki Clan captive, comforted Root mole Kōichi, and watched Kakuzu’s operations falter as Kirigakure tightened security. After the company’s dormitory was destroyed, Bieshu Feifan moved the employees outdoors and began interviewing a surprising new applicant: Danzo.

  • Bieshu Feifan told Kakuzu to bully the suspicious newcomer, then paid extra when Kakuzu returned with a living Yuki Clan boy and an old man.
  • Bieshu Feifan absorbed the old man’s chakra to gain Ice Release, sent the boy to the Land of Fire, and gave tearful Kōichi money and reassurance after Kōichi complained about Kakuzu.
  • Kirigakure’s crackdown disrupted Kakuzu’s missions, costing the company employees and leaving the Yuki Clan difficult to find.
  • Kirigakure shinobi attacked the company’s dormitory, and Bieshu Feifan and Kakuzu joined the employees in fighting them before the unfinished building collapsed.
  • Bieshu Feifan made the wilderness the employees’ new dormitory and went with Kakuzu to interview applicants, where Danzo arrived in a mask.

Ch. 139New employees usually don't know the business

Bieshu Feifan hired Shimura Danzō and his Root subordinates despite knowing they had hidden motives, then sent them on a mission with Kakuzu. After the team returned with four dead Kaguya shinobi, Kakuzu docked their pay under the contract and tormented Danzo with a long lecture.

  • Danzo applied under the name Bo Zhiyu Rasa, bragged about his experience trafficking children, and Bieshu Feifan hired him immediately.
  • Bieshu Feifan showed Danzo the company’s outdoor sleeping arrangements, then told Kakuzu he knew Danzo was Shimura Danzō and that the later applicants were his Root men.
  • Bieshu Feifan assigned Kakuzu to remain head of operations, give Danzo’s men the hardest work, and watch them closely.
  • Kakuzu led the employees, including Danzo, on a mission and returned with one dead Kaguya Chunin and three dead Genin.
  • Bieshu Feifan reduced the payment because the bodies were imperfect, and Kakuzu lectured Danzo until Danzo left in frustration.
  • Bieshu Feifan met Kakuzu privately and asked whether Danzo had stirred up trouble.

Ch. 140More new hires

Bieshu Feifan learned that Danzo had stolen a corpse and abducted a Kaguya child, then decided to confront him without killing him. He hired A and other Kumogakure shinobi, but their arrival led to a tense encounter with Danzo at the supposed employee quarters.

  • Kakuzu told Bieshu Feifan that Danzo had taken a stronger Chunin's corpse and abducted a Kaguya child while framing the company, and Bieshu Feifan agreed to target Danzo without killing him.
  • Danzo and Kōichi complained about Kakuzu, planned to sell him out to Kirigakure, and discussed robbing Bieshu Feifan after their work in the Land of Water.
  • Bieshu Feifan hired A and several other Kumogakure shinobi, despite Kakuzu warning that their leader might be the Third Raikage's son and valuable on the black market.
  • A demanded Bieshu Feifan's real name and questioned his connection to Danzo, while Bieshu Feifan denied knowing Danzo and led the Cloud shinobi to the wilderness he called their quarters.
  • Danzo emerged from the grass, recognized A, and both men pointed at each other and exclaimed, “It's you!”

Ch. 141The youngster lay down and fell asleep

Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu joined forces against the Fourth Raikage A, defeating him and capturing him. They planned to trade him to the Third Raikage for a large payment.

  • The Fourth Raikage A recognized Danzo, but attacked Bieshu Feifan after accusing him of trickery.
  • Kakuzu and Danzo fought the Fourth Raikage A while Bieshu Feifan helped defeat his guards and blocked his escape.
  • The three overwhelmed the Fourth Raikage A, and Kakuzu stopped Danzo from killing him so they could sell him intact.
  • Bieshu Feifan broke up Kakuzu and Danzo's dispute over their captive and brought them to discuss his fate.
  • Danzo, Kakuzu, and Bieshu Feifan broke the Fourth Raikage A's limbs and agreed to trade him to the Third Raikage.

Ch. 142That Man Was an Expert at Hand-to-Hand Combat

Bieshu Feifan revealed his face and claimed his name was Shimura Chizhang while Danzo and Kakuzu arranged a ransom for Fourth Raikage A. The exchange with the Third Raikage failed when the three men fled with A, and they ended the chapter discussing how to collect the ransom.

  • Danzo and Kakuzu demanded to know Bieshu Feifan’s identity, so he removed his mask and said his name was Shimura Chizhang.
  • Danzo secretly took children from the Yuki Clan while he and Kakuzu captured more Kekkei Genkai Shinobi in the Land of Water.
  • The Third Raikage learned that Fourth Raikage A might have been captured by the Shinobi World's Offshore Triangular Sham Limited Liability Company and decided to prepare a ransom.
  • At the island exchange, Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu became too intimidated by the Third Raikage to approach the ransom chests and fled with A.
  • The Third Raikage chased after them, but Bieshu Feifan and the others returned to their employee dormitory with A and beat him.
  • Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu sat around the unconscious A and discussed how to collect the ransom.

Ch. 143The Treatment Young Master A Received

After the Third Raikage frightened the kidnappers during an attempted exchange, Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu raised the ransom and used Fourth Raikage A to force the Third Raikage to retreat. When they discovered the payment included fake goods, they resumed abusing A, prompting the Third Raikage to charge at them.

  • The Third Raikage received a letter demanding thirty percent more money, another secret technique, and a genuine bloodline-limit Shinobi because he had frightened the kidnappers.
  • Danzo proposed alerting Ōnoki and the Land of Water to create pressure on the Third Raikage while the kidnappers held A.
  • At the next exchange, the Third Raikage brought the ransom, but Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu repeatedly threatened and mistreated A until the Third Raikage withdrew.
  • The kidnappers discovered that the secret techniques were incomplete and the supposed bloodline-limit Shinobi was an ordinary Genin from the Land of Earth.
  • Bieshu Feifan and Danzo resumed tormenting A, and the Third Raikage charged toward them in fury.

Ch. 144A Troubled Time for the Third Raikage

Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu continued holding Fourth Raikage A for ransom, while the Third Raikage struggled to recover him. During the next exchange, Kirigakure attacked Dodai and took A, and the Third Raikage returned to find that Ōnoki had invaded the Land of Lightning.

  • Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu escaped the Third Raikage with Fourth Raikage A, then decided to demand another ransom after receiving incomplete secret techniques and ordinary Genin.
  • The Third Raikage returned to camp with a bag of Oligei, which Dodai mistook for evidence that A had been eaten; a later letter arrived with A's severed hand and a threat from the kidnappers.
  • The Third Mizukage learned that the Third Raikage had entered the Land of Water and ordered his subordinates to locate him without alerting him.
  • The Third Raikage agreed to exchange stolen Kekkei Genkai and secret techniques for A, and Dodai brought the ransom and kidnapped Yuki Clan children to the meeting.
  • Kirigakure shinobi attacked Dodai during the exchange, so Bieshu Feifan and Danzo took the ransom and left A behind; the Mist Ninja captured A.
  • The Third Raikage returned to find Dodai wounded and A taken by Kirigakure, then learned that Ōnoki had invaded the Land of Lightning.

Ch. 145Another business director

Bieshu Feifan promoted Danzo to business director, then arranged for him and Kakuzu to target the Kaguya Clan. After the Kaguya ambushed them and Danzo was injured, Bieshu Feifan and Kakuzu escorted him back to the dormitory while stripping him of his new role.

  • Kirigakure demanded ransom and compensation from the Third Raikage after capturing A again, and the Third Raikage was summoned to court over another robbery.
  • Bieshu Feifan promoted Danzo to second business director and told Kakuzu that he planned to teach Danzo a lesson.
  • Danzo and Kakuzu led an operation against the Kaguya Clan, but the Kaguya surrounded their surveillance team and drove them into a retreat.
  • The Kaguya mistook Danzo for the Daddy Shinobi and pursued him, but Danzo escaped before Bieshu Feifan's Wood Clone ambushed him with chili powder and broke his leg.
  • Bieshu Feifan and Kakuzu supported the injured Danzo back to the employee dormitory, and Bieshu Feifan suspended him from his new position.

Ch. 146The people applying kept getting stranger

After Danzo failed against the Kaguya Clan, Bieshu Feifan and Kakuzu lectured him, stripped him of his operations role, and brought him along to interview new applicants. The interview turned into a fight when a supposed Konoha recruit attacked, and Sunagakure shinobi ambushed the tent, leaving Bieshu Feifan and Danzo facing a new conflict.

  • Bieshu Feifan and Kakuzu made Danzo review his failure against the Kaguya Clan, then put Kakuzu in charge of operations while Danzo recovered.
  • Bieshu Feifan gave Danzo a bamboo crutch and took him to help interview applicants for the company.
  • Big Man tore up the registration form, attacked Bieshu Feifan with a Wind Blade, and confessed that he was a Konoha Special Jōnin sent by the Hokage.
  • Danzo questioned Big Man about Konoha's Wind Release investigation and beat him when he could not answer.
  • Sunagakure shinobi bombarded the interview tent and attacked with puppets, prompting Danzo to consider stirring up trouble.

Ch. 147Competitors under false pretenses

Bieshu Feifan and Danzo defeated a Sunagakure group that tried to take over Bieshu Feifan’s company, while Bieshu Feifan’s attempts to recruit employees went poorly. Kakuzu then reported that the Land of Water was too chaotic to find kekkei genkai clans and that a rival company had appeared, prompting Bieshu Feifan to prepare to confront it.

  • Bieshu Feifan and Danzo fought off the Sunagakure shinobi, captured two survivors, and learned that Sunagakure had intended to seize Bieshu Feifan’s company.
  • Bieshu Feifan questioned and killed the two prisoners, then struggled to recruit staff as strange and hostile applicants arrived from several villages.
  • Kakuzu returned without recruits and explained that bounty hunters, feuding villages, and hidden kekkei genkai clans made the Land of Water impossible to work in.
  • Kakuzu told Bieshu Feifan and Danzo that another Shinobi World Offshore Triangle Sham Limited Liability Company had opened nearby with the same business.
  • Bieshu Feifan ordered Kakuzu and Danzo to gather their people so he could take down the rival company.

Ch. 148The showdown between the real and fake shell companies

Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu attacked an Iwagakure group impersonating their company and destroyed its base. After Danzo forced the captured Jōnin to reveal Iwagakure’s mission, the trio decided to ambush Kitsuchi.

  • Bieshu Feifan led the operation toward the counterfeit company’s base, but the employees deserted one by one, leaving only Danzo’s Root members and Kakuzu with him.
  • Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu attacked the base on an uninhabited island and discovered that its defenders were shinobi from Iwagakure.
  • The trio destroyed the fake company and captured an Iwagakure Jōnin alive, while Danzo tortured and badgered him until he confessed that Kitsuchi’s team had come to seize the Land of Water’s kekkei genkai.
  • Kakuzu took the captured Jōnin’s heart and stored his body for the black market, then Danzo proposed ambushing Kitsuchi and Bieshu Feifan agreed to follow his lead.

Ch. 149A Change of Master Without Anyone Noticing

Danzo led Bieshu Feifan and Kakuzu in capturing Kitsuchi and demanding ransom from Ōnoki, while quietly taking control of their company. The group’s business then collapsed as rival companies appeared and the Yuki and Kaguya clans fled, ending with Ōnoki’s reply arriving.

  • Danzo ordered Root to lure Kitsuchi into an ambush, where he, Bieshu Feifan, and Kakuzu defeated Kitsuchi’s force and captured him.
  • Danzo branded Kitsuchi with the Cursed Tongue Eradication Seal, and the group agreed on ransom demands that included money and Iwagakure ninjutsu.
  • Ōnoki received a ransom letter and a severed finger, but sent no reply for several days.
  • A Root Shinobi reported that rival companies with the same name and services had appeared throughout the Land of Water, backed by powerful groups.
  • The Root Shinobi revealed that the Yuki Clan and Kaguya Clan had vanished, leaving Bieshu Feifan’s company without its business.
  • A letter from Ōnoki arrived as Danzo fumed over the company’s collapse.

Ch. 150The company's new boss

Bieshu Feifan, Danzo, and Kakuzu auctioned Kitsuchi after Ōnoki refused to trade Iwagakure's secret techniques, but Danzo was left to take the blame as the others fled. Months later, Bieshu Feifan returned to Konoha and burst into Hiruzen Sarutobi's office, leaving Hiruzen to face his unwelcome arrival.

  • When Ōnoki stayed on the reef rather than hand over Iwagakure's secret techniques, Bieshu Feifan proposed auctioning Kitsuchi through the black market.
  • Kitsuchi's bids climbed to 1.6 billion ryō, and Bieshu Feifan left while Kakuzu and Danzo split the proceeds.
  • Kakuzu fled, and Danzo was pursued by bounty hunters and shinobi who blamed him for the Land of Water chaos and Kitsuchi's auction.
  • After months away, Bieshu Feifan returned to Konoha and went straight to the Hokage Building.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi locked his office door, but Bieshu Feifan burst in and greeted him.
