Qian Renxue is proud, competitive, and exceptionally unwilling to concede defeat. In her first duel with Lin Qian, she continues attacking despite his unusual rings and spiritual restraints. That same persistence later carries her through repeated failures in the Angel Trials and keeps her fighting Gu Yuena even after recognizing the disadvantage 25 287 401 402.

Her coldness toward Bibi Dong conceals a persistent longing for maternal affection. As a girl, she repeatedly seeks meetings with her mother and cries privately before Qian Daoliu when rejected. Even after their relationship deteriorates, her resentment remains rooted in affection she wants but cannot obtain 14 132 364.

Undercover life initially makes her more restrained and composed. However, Lin Qian’s willingness to shoulder difficult decisions leaves her comparatively inexperienced in political maneuvering; she sometimes underestimates the consequences of confronting Bibi Dong or removing her subordinates 45 134 172.

History

Childhood and the Worship Hall

Qian Renxue is the daughter of Qian Xunji and Bibi Dong, conceived after Qian Xunji raped Bibi Dong. After her father’s death—initially presented to her as death from severe injuries—Qian Daoliu raises her in the Worship Hall. Bibi Dong seldom meets her, leaving Qian Renxue confused by her mother’s rejection and dependent on her grandfather for comfort 14.

As the Worship Hall’s Saintess and a Qian Family descendant, she holds a hereditary claim to Spirit Hall. Bibi Dong’s appointment of Lin Qian as Saint Son creates a competing succession claim 24.

Duel and Engagement

At their first meeting, Qian Renxue blocks Lin Qian from entering the Worship Hall and challenges him over the succession. Despite being a Level 52 Soul King, she loses when his Ice Silkworm Roar breaks through her attack and defenses 24 25.

Lin Qian catches her as she falls, but their exchange ends with her slapping him and stomping on his foot. Qian Daoliu then declares Lin Qian her fiancé. Their argument over the arrangement includes Lin Qian demanding Spirit Hall and Qian Daoliu proposing that their future child become the next Supreme Pontiff 26.

Heaven Dou Infiltration

Bibi Dong orders Qian Renxue to replace Xue Qinghe and carry out Spirit Hall’s infiltration of Heaven Dou. Lin Qian offers to go instead, but Bibi Dong refuses. Qian Renxue accepts coldly and leaves immediately, successfully replacing the prince and securing the Crown Prince position before Lin Qian returns from the Far North 27 40.

Her anger at Bibi Dong initially extends to Lin Qian as the Pontiff’s favored disciple. Their partnership gradually becomes romantic: they coordinate the removal of Xue Luochuan and Xue Haicang, though Lin Qian performs the killings and stages a beast attack. Afterward, he traps her behind a spiritual barrier and takes her first kiss without permission 45 52.

Lin Qian subsequently advises her on protecting the succession, handling Xue Xing and Xue Beng, and slowly poisoning Xue Ye rather than acting prematurely. Under Xue Qinghe’s identity, she also redirects Tang San’s anger toward the Clear Sky Sect by claiming its leaders forced Tang Hao to leave 91 124 155 212.

The infiltration succeeds without the failed palace coup described in Lin Qian’s knowledge of the original story. Qian Renxue becomes Heaven Dou’s ruler, while Lin Qian later consolidates Spirit Hall’s control during her absence. Hu Liena subsequently takes over the Heaven Dou throne, allowing Qian Renxue to remain in Spirit City for her inheritance and future imperial role 345 347 355.

Angel Trials and Imperial Succession

Qian Renxue’s evolved Martial Soul leads Qian Daoliu to intensify her trials. Repeated failures in the Sixth Trial expose her impatience and fixation on strength. She regains her composure, develops her defense, and ultimately passes with Ten Thousand Suns Soaring to Heaven 287 322 323.

The Seventh Trial requires her to defeat Dark Snow, her own dark side. Dark Snow attempts to provoke jealousy through a projection of Lin Qian speaking with Bibi Dong, but Lin Qian deliberately allows the connection and reassures Qian Renxue. She later emerges having passed the trial and drawn the Angel Holy Sword 347 363.

When Spirit Hall’s throne becomes contested, she refuses to displace Lin Qian, arguing that his work has earned him the succession. She chooses to become empress consort instead and publicly defends his authority to address imperial policy at the grand court assembly 364 370.

Ninth Trial and Ascension

The Ninth Trial requires Qian Daoliu to burn his body and soul to open the passage between human and god. Before disappearing, he tells Qian Renxue that Bibi Dong killed her father and advises her to consult Lin Qian about how to face her mother 393.

Her inheritance forces her to confront family loss, her parents’ history, and her jealousy over Lin Qian. As the agony damages her soul, Lin Qian enters the trial through a spatial passage and helps restore her. Her evolved Martial Soul makes the ordeal not merely an inheritance, but a transformation toward a higher divine realm 395 396.

After ascending, she reunites with her grandfather’s surviving soul. Though reluctant to lose him, she respects his wishes and personally sends him into reincarnation. The first Angel God then guides her and relinquishes the position 398.

Rivalry with Gu Yuena

Qian Renxue mistakenly identifies the empire’s mysterious acting empress as Gu Yuena. Determined to establish herself as Lin Qian’s rightful wife, she leaves while he sleeps and challenges Gu Yuena at the Lake of Life 398.

Despite her evolved Martial Soul and superior divine weapon, she struggles against Gu Yuena’s experience and elemental control. Her escalating attacks consume considerable power, while Gu Yuena’s Space Lock Domain steadily worsens her position. Lin Qian intervenes when Gu Yuena redirects Solar Angel toward her, ends the battle, and advises her to make better use of the sky’s power 400 401 402 403.

She later learns that the acting empress was actually the God King of Goodness. In subsequent divine conflict, her former rivalry does not prevent her from joining Gu Yuena in battle 407 412.

Family and Divine Governance

After years of attempting to conceive, Qian Renxue becomes pregnant with Lin Qian’s child. Their son, Lin Xuelin, inherits her Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul; Lin Qian additionally blesses him with Twin Martial Souls. Xuelin later inherits the imperial throne at ten, becomes a Titled Douluo at eighteen, and succeeds to the Asura God King position at twenty-two 407 420.

Following the Divine Realm’s reorganization, Qian Renxue becomes Angel God King and a member of the God Realm Committee. She handles everyday affairs in Lin Qian’s stead while he studies the universe’s laws.
