Her devotion to Yu Xiaogang distorts her judgment: she resents evidence that discredits his theories and initially supports Lin Qian’s cultivation method because it might help him. His decision to train Tang Hao’s son nevertheless pushes her to refuse his request for assistance 12 23 189.

She is also a diligent administrator who can accept useful advice despite disliking it. Her reforms improve Spirit Hall’s public standing, but coexist with coercive policies and a concealed willingness to destroy Spirit Hall alongside the Angel Clan if her ambitions fail 140 346 357 362.
