The magic wand was made of some unknown material, grayish brown and somewhat rough to the touch. It was about a meter long, with a diamond-shaped upper section. Three palm-sized amethysts gleamed brilliantly, the light inside them rippling like flowing water. At a glance, the three amethysts looked like miniature deep pools, set in a triangular arrangement.
There was also a small, ancient manuscript, densely covered in ancient, tadpole-like magical script. These two objects had actually been embedded in the gravestone. They clearly looked extremely precious and might even have been relics left by Almeric Cotton.
After holding them and examining them closely, Han Shuo unceremoniously put both objects into his spatial ring. Then his gaze shifted, and he noticed that the broken pieces of the gravestone were different colors. Surprised, he could not help picking one up for a closer look.
"Oh, redheart iron and white light silver. I never expected the gravestone to have been refined from these unusual ores. No wonder I couldn't identify its material!" Han Shuo exclaimed softly, picking up the fragments one by one to identify them.
The outside of the gravestone had indeed been made by smelting several unusual ores together, but after the Demonslayer Edge shattered it, the ores inside proved not to have been completely smelted. Many pieces were still raw ore. Judging by the magic wand and small manuscript hidden inside, this was not because the person who had refined the gravestone lacked ability. They must have done it deliberately, fearing that smelting it completely would damage the two objects inside.
Han Shuo had no idea what had happened in this Forbidden Land five hundred years ago, why Almeric Cotton had appeared here, or why there was a gravestone for him here. Nor were these things Han Shuo needed to
