Berglas Fortress was the largest fortress controlled by the Rivers Family. It was one-seventh the size of Shadow City and surrounded by mountains rich in resources, with several small energy mines. It was the Rivers Family's largest stronghold outside Shadow City.
This fortress was clearly far more valuable than the towns Andrei had assigned to the other small families. Apart from being a little farther from Shadow City, Berglas Fortress left nothing to be desired. No wonder the patriarchs of those small families had been unhappy to hear that Andrei was giving it to Han Shuo.
Han Shuo had visited the Rivers Family's residence in Shadow City when he first arrived there. Its buildings towered into the clouds and occupied an enormous area, with every facility imaginable inside. Energy Towers and energy Barriers covered every section, and there were even several Training Grounds.
In Shadow City, where every inch of land was worth a fortune, it was a truly luxurious estate! Even the Celestial Pivot Pharmacy where Han Shuo currently lived fell far short of it.
