When Han Shuo landed on solid ground, steadied himself, and looked around, he discovered that he was in an enormous laboratory.
All kinds of containers and huge skeletons lay scattered everywhere. On the walls nearby, several lamps glowed a ghostly green like phosphorescent fire, keeping the interior from being completely dark.
There were several rooms around him as well. Han Shuo entered them one by one and discovered that two were filled with books on Necromancy, including some books on dark magic. All the magic books here looked extremely old and were covered in dust. The collection was even more extensive than that of the dark magic library at the Babylon Academy of Magic and Martial Arts, and many of the books were ones Han Shuo had never even heard of.
The other four rooms held all manner of magic materials. Sealed containers were filled with liquids of every color, along with strange bones and gleaming teeth from savage magical beasts.
Just as Han Shuo was surveying his surroundings, the Green Sphere in his hand suddenly burst into dazzling green light. The radiance enveloped the entire laboratory, and a ghostlike dark shadow suddenly appeared within a circular magic symbol at its center.
"My child, welcome. By the time you see this image, I will have returned to the earth. If you wish to understand everything about the Death Cemetery, listen carefully to every word I say."
The dark shadow was so dense that neither the lamplight nor the Green Sphere's glow allowed Han Shuo to make out his true appearance. In a dry voice, he uttered each word with some difficulty.
