The people sent out to deliver messages returned one after another, but none brought any good news. Kamelita was still in seclusion, and the message could not reach her. Andrei had gone to Blackwater City ten days earlier and had yet to return.
As for Heitian and Qinglin, City Lord Wallace had sent them somewhere on a secret mission. It was hard to say whether they were even within Shadow City's territory, and the Han Family members sent to deliver messages naturally had not caught so much as a glimpse of them.
Kamelita, Andrei, Heitian, and Qinglin, the four people closest to the Han Family, had vanished without a trace as though they had arranged it together, and at precisely such a sensitive time. Phoebe and the others were all weighed down with worry, unsure what to do.
