Arc 21Stranded in the Abyss

Han Shuo was stranded in the Abyss after the Ancient Giant Dragon left him behind in a collapsing plane, then found allies in Haimanna and Xierfu and reached Battle Demon Valley. After defeating Balua, Han Shuo was invited to meet Keluoxius.

  • Han Shuo and Kaili attacked the Ice and Snow God Temple, killed Ice God Corey, and watched Snow God Tiana escape by merging with the Water Element.
  • Han Shuo refused to hand the Goddess’s Hand to Kaili, then rescued Sophie from confinement and agreed to help her family reach Brettel City.
  • Han Shuo returned to the Undead World and witnessed Little Skeleton become powerful enough to bind two Bone Dragons and the Zombie King as servants.
  • Han Shuo captured a Unicorn for Fanny, then entered the Space-Time Turbulence Domain and joined the fight against demons pouring through its gates.
  • The Ancient Giant Dragon injured Han Shuo and left him stranded in the Abyss when the gateway closed, so Han Shuo fought his way through the demons and escaped a spatial collapse.
  • After healing, Han Shuo met Haimanna and Xierfu, helped them and the Xieluo Squad escape Poison Fang Fort’s forces, and traveled with them to Battle Demon Valley.
  • Balua attacked Han Shuo and ordered Haimanna and Xierfu to kill him, but Han Shuo defeated Balua with Soul Tremor and agreed to spare him at Qunuoya’s request.
Chapters 501–525 Vol. 6 Read

Ch. 501The Might of Brute Force

Han Shuo joined forces with Kaili, the Nature Church’s great sage, against the Ice and Snow God Temple after confronting Snow God Tiana. Kaili transformed into a giant ape and devastated the temple’s forces while Han Shuo rushed to stop Tiana.

  • Han Shuo insulted Tiana and challenged her after she threatened to torture him.
  • Han Shuo proposed that he and Kaili attack the Ice and Snow God Temple together, and Kaili agreed.
  • Kaili transformed into a giant ape and attacked Ice God Corey and the temple’s forces.
  • Kaili smashed Corey’s Ice Cone and flattened more than a dozen Earth Knights and their mounts.
  • As Tiana began chanting a spell, Kaili asked Han Shuo to hold her off for ten minutes, and Han Shuo charged at her.

Ch. 502Turning the tables

Han Shuo disrupted the Ice and Snow God Temple’s attack on Kaili by unleashing a vast devouring vortex that overwhelmed Tiana’s water dragons. He then pursued Tiana while Kaili gained the advantage over Corey, turning the temple’s hunt into a rout.

  • Tiana used her power from the Water Element Origin Crystal to summon five water dragons, sending three against Kaili and two to block Han Shuo.
  • Han Shuo created a huge devouring vortex that dragged in the water dragons, debris, and corpses, while Kaili anchored himself in the earth.
  • Han Shuo dispersed the vortex’s contents, then charged Tiana and smashed through the ice walls she raised as she fled.
  • Tiana warned her allies to retreat as Han Shuo hunted her and Kaili gained the upper hand against the wounded Corey.

Ch. 503Driving Ice God Corey to His Death

Han Shuo and Kaili pursued Ice God Corey after Tiana escaped to a battalion of knights, while Corey used the civilians around him to evade attack. Han Shuo and Kaili cornered Corey, but he unleashed a destructive burst of energy that killed him and threatened the two pursuers.

  • Tiana retreated to a battalion of knights, and Han Shuo abandoned his pursuit of her to join Kaili in chasing Ice God Corey.
  • Tiana ordered the knights to charge Kaili and followed Han Shuo, while Kaili refused to attack Corey among the fleeing civilians.
  • Han Shuo unleashed Bloodlight Myriad Blades Slash, forcing Corey to flee into the air; Corey destroyed the attack while preventing it from harming the vendors below.
  • Han Shuo attacked Corey with bone spears, and Kaili joined him, blocking Corey's escape route and disrupting the surrounding space so he could not use a spatial scroll.
  • Corey released a devastating burst of energy that reduced him to ashes, and Han Shuo and Kaili stopped short of the deadly spatial cracks.

Ch. 504Misunderstanding

Han Shuo and Kaili defeated Ice God Corey, but Snow God Tiana escaped. In a secluded valley, Kaili’s group confronted Han Shuo about the Goddess’s Hand, and Han Shuo explained his unusual understanding of the artifact.

  • Ice God Corey died after his self-destruction failed to harm Han Shuo or Kaili.
  • Snow God Tiana merged with the Water Element and disappeared before Han Shuo could stop her.
  • Kaili led Han Shuo to a valley, where Lilians and Caspian were waiting.
  • Kaili admitted the Nature Church wanted to recover the Goddess’s Hand, but Han Shuo refused to give it up.
  • Han Shuo explained what he knew about the Goddess’s Hand, and Kaili asked to see its master.

Ch. 505Would you take me away?

Han Shuo left the Nature Church after confirming that a zombie warrior was merging with the Green Jade Wood, then postponed his plans to pursue Tiana when the Hexhorn Clan King remained in the Angela Empire. In Xiluo City, he found Sophie imprisoned by her father to force her marriage to Black, and she asked Han Shuo to take her away.

  • Han Shuo told Kaili that the zombie warrior merging with the Green Jade Wood was not an envoy of the Nature Goddess, declined to meet him for now, and left the valley.
  • Han Shuo discovered that the Hexhorn Clan King had stopped in the Angela Empire and, after waiting two days, decided to postpone pursuing Tiana until his undead allies grew stronger.
  • Han Shuo entered Suluo's mansion in Xiluo City and found Sophie trapped behind three magic barriers.
  • Sophie told Han Shuo that her father planned to marry her to Black because opposing the Pilon Family and the Ice and Snow God Temple threatened their family.
  • Sophie looked at Han Shuo and asked, "Brian, would you take me away?"

Ch. 506I Could Never Cherish Fifi Enough!

Sophie asked Han Shuo to help her escape the Kasi Empire, and Suluo mistook their closeness for a romance. Han Shuo played along to persuade Suluo to move his family to Brettel City, leaving Sophie furious with him after Suluo departed to arrange the transfer.

  • Sophie told Han Shuo she wanted to leave the Kasi Empire and asked him to help her reach Brettel City.
  • Suluo appeared and explained that the Pilon Family pressured him to marry Sophie to Black, while admitting he had confined her and prepared his family to leave.
  • Suluo assumed Sophie and Han Shuo were in love, and Han Shuo agreed to take care of her rather than correct the misunderstanding.
  • Suluo left to move his family's forces toward Brettel City, asking Han Shuo to help them leave safely.
  • Sophie confronted Han Shuo for pretending to be her suitor, and Han Shuo said he had done it to persuade her father to relocate.

Ch. 507Little Skeleton's divine might

Han Shuo arranged for Sophie’s family to flee the Kasi Empire to Brettel City, then traveled toward the Dark Forest and discovered Little Skeleton’s transformation in the Undead World. As Little Skeleton absorbed death element and drew undead toward his palace, Han Shuo realized he was forming both an Elemental Soul and an Elemental Body.

  • Han Shuo reassured Sophie that he would protect ordinary people and arranged for the Dark Curtain to help her family reach Brettel City.
  • Han Shuo left the Kasi Empire, headed toward the Dark Forest, and sensed Little Skeleton’s joy from the Undead World.
  • Han Shuo entered the Undead World and saw death element gathering around Little Skeleton’s palace as undead converged on the peak.
  • The Earth Armor Zombie, Fire Armored Corpse, and Golden Armored Corpse greeted Han Shuo while the Water Armored Corpse and Wooden Armored Corpse continued absorbing power beneath the palace.
  • Han Shuo realized Little Skeleton had formed an Elemental Soul and was rapidly developing an Elemental Body, bringing him close to godhood.

Ch. 508Do you really want to die?

Little Skeleton completed his death-element body and asserted control over the undead gathered at the mountain peak. After he defeated the Zombie King and forced him to submit, he confronted the two Bone Dragons, leaving one helpless beneath his claw.

  • Little Skeleton emerged from the palace after absorbing the death energy around the peak, and thousands of undead prostrated themselves before him.
  • Two Bone Dragons and the Zombie King reached the summit, defying Little Skeleton's command to submit.
  • Little Skeleton grew into a towering, spiked form and stopped Han Shuo and his allies from joining the fight.
  • Little Skeleton knocked one Bone Dragon away, crushed the Zombie King's head, and pulled out his soul.
  • The Zombie King submitted and helped Little Skeleton restrain the remaining Bone Dragon, whom Little Skeleton threatened with a claw at his neck.

Ch. 509Undead King

Little Skeleton defeated the Bone Dragons and Zombie King, bound the three powerful undead to him, and established himself as the Undead King. He sent them to expand his territory, while Han Shuo realized Little Skeleton’s growing power could give him a vast undead army.

  • Little Skeleton forced the Bone Dragon onto the mountain, and the Bone Dragon submitted to him; the Zombie King also pledged his loyalty.
  • Little Skeleton stopped the fleeing Bone Dragon and made him offer his soul for a Master-Servant Contract.
  • The other Bone Dragon and the Zombie King voluntarily offered their souls, and Little Skeleton bound all three undead to his will.
  • Little Skeleton ordered the three servants to command their former subordinates and expand into the surrounding regions.
  • The undead withdrew from the peak, recognizing Little Skeleton as their true Undead King, while Han Shuo considered how the undead army strengthened his own foundation.

Ch. 510Deeper in

After Little Skeleton reached a new level of strength, Han Shuo returned to the Dark Forest and explored its deepest reaches. There he encountered a Unicorn fighting the Cyclops and decided to capture the creature as a gift for Fanny, but it fled after sensing his power.

  • Little Skeleton thanked Han Shuo for his help, and Han Shuo told him to adjust to his new soul and body and supervise Little Water and Little Wood's training.
  • Han Shuo returned through the Spatial Tunnel to the Dark Forest and spent several days exploring, collecting rare treasures and encountering Super-tier Magical Beasts.
  • Han Shuo reached the Forbidden Land and found it changed, then sensed a fierce fight nearby between a Unicorn and the Cyclops he had met before.
  • Han Shuo decided to capture the Unicorn for Fanny, realizing he had given Phoebe and Emily valuable gifts but had given Fanny none.
  • The Unicorn attacked Han Shuo with lightning and Wind Blades, but he easily broke its spells; after the Cyclops recognized him as a demigod, the Unicorn fled.

Ch. 511Subduing the Unicorn

Han Shuo subdued the Unicorn and persuaded it to become a woman’s magical pet, then learned that powerful creatures had been gathering in the deepest part of the Dark Forest. After hearing a massive crash from that direction, he flew off to investigate.

  • Han Shuo chased down the fleeing Unicorn and restrained it after his necromancy barriers failed to affect it.
  • Han Shuo threatened the Unicorn and coaxed it with promises of the human world until it agreed to become a woman’s magical pet.
  • Han Shuo left a mark inside the Unicorn to prevent it from escaping and told it to wait for his return.
  • The Cyclops joined Han Shuo, and the Unicorn said it had seen a powerful Fifth Stage Giant Dragon enter the forest’s depths.
  • After a distant crash frightened the Unicorn and the Cyclops, Han Shuo flew toward the deepest part of the Dark Forest to investigate.

Ch. 512Ancient Giant Dragon

Han Shuo forced his way through the Dark Forest’s magical barriers and gravity field, then fought past a Silver Giant Dragon guarding the Emerald Lake. Beyond it, he discovered six demigods battling at strange gates and encountered a legendary Ancient Giant Dragon whose power surpassed anything he had seen.

  • Han Shuo pushed through the enormous spiderweb magic array and entered an area where gravity was dozens of times stronger.
  • A Silver Giant Dragon tried to drive Han Shuo away, but Han Shuo resisted his hurricane and struck him until the dragon fled deeper into the forest.
  • Han Shuo followed the Silver Giant Dragon past the Emerald Lake, where the gravity returned to normal and strange gates appeared in the sky.
  • Han Shuo saw six demigods—two Giant Dragons, two Titans, and two Orcs—fighting within the gates while Titans and members of the Dragon Clan watched from a canyon.
  • Han Shuo encountered a hundred-meter-long Ancient Giant Dragon and sensed that its power surpassed that of the Holy Maiden and the Hun Gua Clan’s Hexagon Clan King.

Ch. 513Abyssal demons

Han Shuo discovered that demons from another plane were invading the Qio Continent through the Space-Time Turbulence Domain, where dragons and titans were sacrificing themselves to hold back the attackers. After Shidrik revealed Han Shuo was a demigod, Han Shuo entered a passage to face the demons himself, stunned by what he saw inside.

  • Han Shuo watched the ancient giant dragon and six demigods struggle to suppress seven gates opening onto another plane.
  • Shidrik recognized Han Shuo and explained that dragons and titans guarded the Space-Time Turbulence Domain against demons from other planes.
  • Valilai died guarding a gate, and a titan giant took his place, but high-level demons wounded the titan as well.
  • Shidrik announced that Han Shuo was a demigod, prompting the gathered dragons and titans to look to him.
  • Han Shuo entered the gate to confront the demons and was stunned by the space beyond it.

Ch. 514One man held the pass, and ten thousand could not break through

Han Shuo fought tens of thousands of Abyss demons in the chaotic space surrounding a planar passage to the Qio Continent. Unable to summon Undead there, he relied on his Demonic Cultivation Art and the Bloodlust Banner to hold back the horde.

  • Han Shuo protected himself from the demons’ corrosive venom with his Body-Protecting Astral Shield, though the venom drained its power.
  • He used the Skeleton Magic Staff to cast Bone Spears, Fear Barrier, and Weakening Barrier, slowing and injuring the advancing demons.
  • Han Shuo tried twice to summon Undead and contact Little Skeleton but failed because the Space-Time Turbulence Domain disrupted planar connections.
  • He released the Bloodlust Banner, which altered the demons’ blood flow until the creatures caught in its mist swelled and burst apart.

Ch. 515Endless hatred

Han Shuo fought off endless Abyss demons while the planar gateway began to close, only to be struck down by the Ancient Giant Dragon and trapped in the Abyss. He realized the Church of Light had turned the dragon against him, and vowed that every betrayer would pay if he ever returned to the Qio Continent.

  • Han Shuo used the Bloodlust Banner to slaughter Abyss demons, but fifteen falcon-like demons tore a small hole in it with coordinated attacks.
  • Han Shuo pulled back the damaged banner, shielded himself from flying wing fragments, and continued fighting the surging demons with Bone Spears as his strength dwindled.
  • Han Shuo sensed the planar gateway closing and spent his remaining mental power on a final volley before flying toward it.
  • The Ancient Giant Dragon halted Han Shuo with a powerful force and grievously injured him, declaring that a Necromancer of the Calamity Church had no place on the Qio Continent.
  • Han Shuo saw two Church of Light demigods speaking with the Ancient Giant Dragon as the gateway closed, leaving him stranded in the Abyss.
  • Han Shuo laughed in grief and hatred, blaming the dragon, the Church of Light, and the Titan Clan, and swore they would pay if he ever returned.

Ch. 516Spatial Collapse

Han Shuo fought off Abyss demons while severely injured, then fled when the space around him began to collapse. He escaped the spatial rupture and emerged into a strange landscape of plants, mountains, and water.

  • Han Shuo discovered that his Demonic Nascent Soul remained unharmed despite catastrophic injuries and continued fighting the Abyss demons.
  • As his broken meridians weakened his attacks, Han Shuo decided to carve a path through the demons and escape.
  • Spatial fluctuations and lightning signaled an impending collapse, prompting the Abyss demons to retreat and Han Shuo to follow them.
  • Han Shuo ruptured more meridians while using the Nine Heavens Demon Art to force his way past demons and flee the spreading spatial rifts.
  • Han Shuo burst into a new landscape as the chaotic force of the spatial rupture surged behind him.

Ch. 517A new environment

After arriving in a savage new plane, Han Shuo escaped a collapsing mountain and searched for a safe place to heal. He discovered he could communicate directly with Little Skeleton, then hid beneath a poisonous swamp to recover.

  • Han Shuo fled the mountain as its spatial collapse triggered an explosion that buried and killed thousands of Abyss creatures.
  • A powerful three-eyed Abyss creature survived the falling rubble, glared at Han Shuo, and led its subordinates away without pursuing him.
  • Han Shuo explored the hostile landscape and saw a giant plant devour an Abyss creature, confirming that plants and animals alike hunted one another.
  • Han Shuo realized he could contact the Undead World and exchanged messages with Little Skeleton, who became furious upon learning of his injuries.
  • Han Shuo reassured Little Skeleton, ended their connection, and descended beneath a poisonous swamp to create a hiding place and heal.

Ch. 518Alluring Girls of Another Race

Han Shuo recovered from his injuries and explored the Abyss realm, hoping to find a way back to the Qio Continent. He encountered two powerful nonhuman girls, fought off their attack, and began probing their minds to learn their language.

  • Han Shuo healed his body, restored his connection to the Undead World, and wondered whether the three-eyed Abyss creature was related to the Three-Eyed Evil God Anstis.
  • Han Shuo left the swamp and flew for several days through the vast Abyss realm, searching for an intelligent being who could tell him about the world.
  • Han Shuo sensed two powerful creatures fighting and found that they were beautiful girls whose bodies were covered in armor and spikes connected to their flesh.
  • The two girls stopped fighting each other and attacked Han Shuo, who blocked their lightning and fire strikes with his Heavenly Demon Blades while studying their methods.
  • Han Shuo launched a counterattack, asked the girls questions they could not understand, and used his Divine Sense to try to extract language memories from their minds.

Ch. 519Jewelry's overwhelming power over women!

Han Shuo learned the Abyss Realm’s language and tried to win the Purple-Eyed Girl and Green-Eyed Girl’s trust after they mistook him for a spy. He gave them fine jewelry, and both girls became friendly toward him.

  • Han Shuo learned enough of the girls’ language to call out, but the Purple-Eyed Girl and Green-Eyed Girl attacked him after suspecting he had deceived them.
  • Han Shuo defended himself against their coordinated attacks and explained that he had only just learned their language.
  • The girls remained wary of Han Shuo, who concealed his origins and claimed he had lived in an uninhabited region.
  • Han Shuo offered the Purple-Eyed Girl a gemstone necklace and the Green-Eyed Girl emerald bracelets from his Spatial Ring.
  • The girls eagerly claimed their gifts and decided Han Shuo was a good person, no longer treating him as a likely spy.

Ch. 520The Five Great Demon Kings of the Abyss

Han Shuo learned about the Abyss’s brutal hierarchy from Haimanna and Xierfu, then traveled with them toward Battle Demon Valley to seek a place under Keluoxius. When they encountered a battle ahead, the two girls rushed to aid their allies, and Han Shuo saw an opportunity to prove himself.

  • Han Shuo learned that Haimanna and Xierfu served as company captains in Keluoxius’s Battle Demon Guard and could not introduce him to their lord.
  • Haimanna and Xierfu agreed to take Han Shuo to Battle Demon Valley so he could seek an identity and a place in the guard.
  • As they traveled, Han Shuo openly declared that he wanted both girls, and they teased him while considering whether he could earn the standing to win them over.
  • Han Shuo sensed a fight five li ahead involving the Three-Eyed Race and riders from the Xieluo Squad, whom Haimanna identified as allies.
  • Haimanna and Xierfu charged toward the battle, while Han Shuo decided that helping them could earn him entry to Battle Demon Valley and impress them.

Ch. 521I'm not the kind of person you think I am!

Han Shuo cut through Poison Fang Fort’s forces to help Haimanna, Xierfu, and the Xieluo Squad retreat. After reaching them, he studied Nanzhaluo’s cultivation and began to suspect that combining the Abyss’s body-focused method with the Qio Continent’s soul-focused method could reveal the secret of godhood, then startled Nanzhaluo with his intense stare.

  • Han Shuo watched the Three-Eyed Race overwhelm the Xieluo Squad as Haimanna and Xierfu fought alongside Battle Demon Valley’s forces.
  • Han Shuo attacked Poison Fang Fort’s troops with Necromancy and the Heavenly Demon Blade, killing more than two hundred Abyss Creatures and opening a path to the Xieluo Squad.
  • Han Shuo offered to cover the rear while the Xieluo Squad retreated, and Nanzhaluo declared that he wanted to befriend him.
  • Han Shuo examined Nanzhaluo’s Dark Element cultivation and considered how the Abyss’s body-focused method might complement the Qio Continent’s soul-focused path to godhood.
  • Haimanna called out when Han Shuo stared intently at Nanzhaluo, who begged him to stop and offered to introduce him to others with similar interests.

Ch. 522Shadow General

Han Shuo helped Nanzhaluo and the Xieluo Squad escape Poison Fang Fort’s forces, then learned that Shadow Generals serving Great Demon King Goran Dell might be in the area. The group hurried toward Battle Demon Valley so Nanzhaluo could warn Keluoxius, though he feared it might already be too late.

  • Han Shuo used necromancy and his Heavenly Demon Blades to cover the Xieluo Squad’s retreat alongside Haimanna and Xierfu.
  • Nanzhaluo led the squad through the encirclement, and Han Shuo and the two women helped drive off the pursuers until the group escaped.
  • After they reached safety, Nanzhaluo thanked Han Shuo and offered to introduce him to Keluoxius in Battle Demon Valley.
  • Xierfu said Poison Fang Fort might be emboldened by a Plane Passage discovery, and Nanzhaluo explained that the passage had been destroyed and its visitors sought to seize Battle Demon Valley instead.
  • Haimanna reported that Shadow Generals serving Great Demon King Goran Dell had arrived at Poison Fang Fort, alarming Nanzhaluo and Xierfu.
  • Nanzhaluo ordered the group to return to Battle Demon Valley at top speed and report the danger to Keluoxius.

Ch. 523City of Demons

Han Shuo arrived at Battle Demon Valley and learned that the Abyss’s strongest beings included five Demon Kings who had reached their power through their own cultivation. As Haimanna and Xierfu competed to show him around, a Demigod arrived and threatened them for defying his claim over them.

  • Nanzhaluo brought Han Shuo and the Xieluo Squad into Battle Demon Valley, then left to report to Lord Keluoxius.
  • Han Shuo sensed six Demigods and Keluoxius, whose strength had reached the True God realm.
  • Haimanna explained that Keluoxius had needed help from Demon King Manticore to spread his power into his brain, unlike the five self-taught Demon Kings.
  • Han Shuo agreed to let Haimanna show him around Battle Demon Valley, but Xierfu grabbed his other arm and insisted on taking him instead.
  • A sickly Demigod arrived on a Ghost Face Spider and threatened Haimanna and Xierfu, who released Han Shuo and fell silent in fear.

Ch. 524Fame through killing

Han Shuo confronted Balua, a second-level Rakshasa who tried to take Haimanna and Xierfu, and fought his way through Balua’s guards to challenge him directly. The chapter left Han Shuo facing Balua’s water-body defense as he prepared a stronger attack.

  • Balua ordered Haimanna and Xierfu to come with him and told them to kill Han Shuo.
  • Han Shuo killed Balua’s six-armed Destroyer guard with the Mystic Ice Demon Flame Art, then attacked six more of Balua’s subordinates with the Bloodlight Myriad Blades Slash.
  • Han Shuo killed several Destroyers and declared that only Balua was fit to fight him, earning the admiration of the onlookers.
  • Balua used Water Element throughout his body to make his flesh flow around Han Shuo’s Heavenly Demon Blades without losing limbs.
  • Han Shuo let Balua close in and said he would use something stronger.

Ch. 525Earning respect

Han Shuo overwhelmed Balua in the Battle Demon Valley arena, using demonic flames and Soul Tremor to defeat the water fighter. Before Han Shuo could kill him, Qunuoya intervened on Keluoxius’s behalf and invited Han Shuo to meet the valley’s lord.

  • Han Shuo countered Balua’s Water Elemental Body with demonic flames and drove him into retreat.
  • Han Shuo damaged Balua with flame attacks, then endured Balua’s poisonous liquid-body counterattack behind his Body-Protecting Astral Shield.
  • A winged woman and Haimanna and Xierfu warned Han Shuo about Balua’s killing move.
  • Han Shuo struck Balua with Soul Tremor, leaving him helpless and unable to control his poisonous body.
  • Qunuoya arrived and asked Han Shuo to spare Balua because Battle Demon Valley needed his help.
  • Han Shuo agreed to spare Balua and asked to meet Keluoxius, so Qunuoya invited him along.
