"I am the Daimyō of the Land of Birds, after all. I do hear some news from other countries. Besides, your name, Uchiha Yefeng, has long since spread throughout the Shinobi World. It would be hard not to know!"
Ye Feng found the Daimyō very easygoing, without any of the superiority of someone in power, which made talking to him quite comfortable.
The Daimyō then drew forward the bald man behind him and introduced him:
"Let me introduce you. This is Mōsō, an enlightened monk I recently met. His spiritual powers are unfathomable. Since you are also an expert from Konoha, I imagine the two of you should have plenty to discuss."
Hearing the name Mōsō, Ye Feng suddenly remembered who this man was. Wasn't he the fake monk who killed the Daimyō and his son, only to be taken down by Naruto and the others in the end?
Ye Feng worked out the timing. It seemed Mōsō had indeed joined the Land of Birds around this time, then slowly gained the Daimyō's trust.
Actually, Ye Feng rather liked this Daimyō and was considering whether to deal with Mōsō ahead of time.
But after thinking it over, Ye Feng dropped the idea. After all, he had no evidence. Even if he spoke up, the Daimyō might not believe him. Besides, Mōsō probably hadn't started doing anything bad yet, so there was nothing to hold against him.
Let fate take its course!
When Mōsō heard that the young man before him was the famous Uchiha Yefeng, he too was filled with uncertainty and suspicion:
To run into such an expert in this remote little country... he isn't here for me, is he?
But Mōsō saw that Ye Feng had paid him no attention at all
