Ye Feng left the Land of Rain with Matsumoto Tiannai and Qiuyu Yuna, then confronted corruption and a coup plot in the Land of Birds. After the Daimyō punished Mōsō and Aoi Haruna, Ye Feng returned to the inn and planned to leave the next day.

• Ye Feng defeated the remaining assassins in the Land of Rain, secured Kakuzu’s promise to spare Asuma Sarutobi, and exchanged the assassins’ spoils with Shinzō of the Salamander for permission to take Matsumoto Tiannai and Qiuyu Yuna along.
• Ye Feng traveled with Matsumoto Tiannai and Qiuyu Yuna to the Land of Birds, where he killed bandits who attacked them and exposed a restaurant owner and samurai who tried to frame him.
• Ye Feng accepted Tanaka Aoba’s invitation to the Daimyō’s banquet, where Qiuyu Yuna slapped a woman who insulted them and the Daimyō apologized for her behavior.
• Ye Feng recognized Mōsō as a future threat, and Garurumon protected Matsumoto Tiannai and Qiuyu Yuna from the masked ninja Mōsō sent to attack them.
• Ye Feng followed Mōsō’s ninja to a village, then joined Garurumon in defeating the force there without harming the villagers.
• Ye Feng killed Mōsō’s guards and confronted Mōsō and Aoi Haruna, then explained their plot to the Daimyō and used Genjutsu to expose Mōsō’s guilt.
• The Daimyō ordered Mōsō’s punishment and killed Aoi Haruna, while Ye Feng asked him to treat the surrendered bandits fairly before returning to the inn and deciding to leave the next day.

Ye Feng survived Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s attack, returned to Konoha, and resumed cultivating while becoming entangled in village affairs and celebrations. He took Shisui Uchiha as a disciple and began teaching him, Matsumoto Tiannai, and Qiuyu Yuna to cultivate true qi.

• Ye Feng fought Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, wounded him with lightning and the Kusanagi Sword, then escaped the battle after unleashing Kirin and recovered beside the lake with Qiuyu Yuna and Matsumoto Tiannai.
• Ye Feng returned to Konoha with the two women, reported Isshiki’s abilities and the White Zetsu to Orochimaru, and learned that Sunagakure had withdrawn and Konoha’s war effort had succeeded.
• Ye Feng resumed cultivation at home while his shadow clones helped the women settle into Konoha, and he told Inuzuka Clan Fengyu and Kurenai Yuhi that he planned to leave the Shinobi World and could not offer them a future.
• Ye Feng intervened when Uchiha abused an old woman and her granddaughter, then received public praise as Konoha’s army returned and his title of Lightning Asura was announced.
• At Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Mikoto’s wedding, Ye Feng impressed the guests with elemental dragons and a sky full of starlight, while Uchiha Tianchang announced Fugaku would succeed him as clan head.
• Ye Feng met Shisui Uchiha, recognized his talent, and agreed to make him his disciple after Shisui found him at the training ground.
• Ye Feng took Shisui, Matsumoto Tiannai, and Qiuyu Yuna to a secluded forest, taught them about natural energy and true qi, and began their cultivation lessons.
• Shisui struggled to sense natural energy, but after Ye Feng fed him and told him to rest, he found Ye Feng’s shadow clones cultivating and asked to practice beside them.

Ye Feng tested his newly awakened Mangekyō Sharingan, then left Konoha to investigate Rōran and Moryo’s seal. He sealed the crack leaking Moryo’s energy at great cost and returned to Konoha claiming he was blind.

• Ye Feng awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, discovered that his eyes could manipulate time and transfer damage, and tested his powers against Orochimaru and the reincarnated Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju.
• Ye Feng told Tsunade he planned to leave Konoha, then traveled to Rōran and exposed Jeru’s forged debt claim against an elderly couple.
• Ye Feng discovered that Anrokuzan had forced people to work in a secret base, rescued the laborers, and brought the elderly couple and their son Tasim’s body to Tanaka Aoba for help.
• Ye Feng traveled to the Land of Demons and told Miko Miroku that Moryo’s consciousness might be erased, then accompanied her to the Land of Swamps to inspect the seal.
• When Moryo’s energy erupted through a crack in the stone gate, Ye Feng began a sealing formation using Miroku’s three natural-energy stones.
• Ye Feng accelerated time with Sumeru to complete the seal, exhausting his true qi and ocular power and cracking his dantian, while Miroku believed he had sacrificed his sight to save her.
• After parting from Miroku, Ye Feng traveled discreetly for more than ten days and told Konoha’s gate guards that he had lost his sight in both eyes.

Ye Feng joined Minato Namikaze’s mission to rescue Sara and stop Anrokuzan, but fell into the Ryūmyaku while saving her. While Konoha mourned him, he recovered in Looking Mountain Village, discovered he was a thousand years in the past, and fought Ōtsutsuki Isshiki.

• Ye Feng returned to Konoha blind and injured, warned Tsunade about Moryo, and sent Shisui to train under Might Duy.
• Ye Feng joined Minato Namikaze’s Rōran mission and helped rescue Naruto Uzumaki and Sara from Anrokuzan’s puppets.
• Minato Namikaze learned that Naruto Uzumaki was his future son, and Sara insisted on shutting down the Ryūmyaku.
• Ye Feng freed Rōran’s forced laborers and fought Anrokuzan while Sara shut down the Ryūmyaku, allowing Minato Namikaze and Naruto Uzumaki to defeat him.
• Ye Feng pushed Sara to safety and fell into the Ryūmyaku during Anrokuzan’s final attack, and Minato Namikaze returned to Konoha to report him missing.
• Matsumoto Tiannai and Qiuyu Yuna sought a search for Ye Feng, while he recovered under Xiao Ling’s family’s care in Looking Mountain Village.
• Ye Feng built Xiao Ling’s family a wooden house, healed his injuries, and failed to break through to the Golden Core Realm before recognizing that he was a thousand years in the past.
• Ōtsutsuki Isshiki attacked Ye Feng, who drew him and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki away from the village and counterattacked with the Fifth Gate and Sumeru.
