• Yun Qi attacked Chonghua in despair, but Chonghua subdued him and threatened the survivors until Yun Qi answered his questions.

• The Five Great Ghost Kings discovered that Chonghua had destroyed the Red Heaven Palace and tried to explain their actions, including the curse they had cast on him.
• Ghost King Xicai gave Chonghua the Threefold Suffering Curse Technique, but Chonghua refused to accept it as sufficient compensation and demanded every Dao Field belonging to Hundred Ghosts Mountain.
• Qiao Wensong arrived with Ji Wujiao, recognized Chonghua’s double pupils, attacked him, and then fled aboard the silver flying boat.

After Qiao Wensong's death, Yun Qi pledged the Red Heaven Palace's people and resources to Chonghua, who agreed to take them in.
