Wang Ba entered the sect treasury to seek treasures the Little Cang Realm needed, while learning that the Myriad Phenomena Sect had suffered heavy losses and that the enemy was again challenging the Cloud-Heaven Realm.

• Sect Master Bai thanked the visiting cultivators, promised to cover their losses, and invited Wang Ba to speak with him privately.
• Wang Ba told Sect Master Bai that Celestial Lord Chao had taught him and learned that Chao, Gai True Person, and Heavenly Venerable Xiahou were in seclusion refining a treasure to oppose the Supreme True Buddha.
• Sect Master Bai explained that the Supreme True Buddha was tightening its encirclement to trap the Cloud-Heaven Realm’s three Mahayana cultivators and offered Wang Ba access to the sect treasury for his battle merits.
• Chen Zhongqi told Wang Ba that the Myriad Phenomena Sect had suffered heavy losses and that its founding patriarch, Chongyuan, had been seriously injured, but Wang Ba chose to visit the treasury first.
• As Wang Ba entered the Cloud-Heaven Sect Treasury, Chen Zhongqi explained that the Supreme True Buddha’s forces regularly challenged the Cloud-Heaven Realm to pressure its Mahayana cultivators into appearing.

Wang Ba explored the Cloud-Heaven Sect treasury, selected treasures for himself and the Little Cang Realm, and exchanged Dao Treasures for Cloud Shells. He then watched a Dharma combat go badly for the Cloud-Heaven Realm, where Chen Zhongqi intervened, and was asked to fight the next bout.

• Wang Ba examined the treasury catalog and selected elixirs, spirit beasts, law techniques, World Remains, and other treasures, including Nine-Colored Divine Soil.
• Wang Ba traded numerous Dao Treasures and a supreme-grade armlet for Cloud Shells, redeemed his most urgent selections, and left the remaining items reserved temporarily.
• Wang Ba joined Chen Zhongqi at the water screen and saw a Supreme True Buddha monk attack a defeated Cloud-Heaven Realm cultivator despite the concession.

Wang Ba then faced Golden Wind Bodhisattva and turned the opponent’s own poisonous wind against him, leaving the battle underway.

• Bai asked Wang Ba to enter the next bout, and Wang Ba agreed to help buy time for the Mahayana cultivators.

Wang Ba defeated Yellow-Skinned Bodhisattva and Fire Lotus Bodhisattva in succession, while wondering whether the Supreme True Buddha was connected to Tibo. As Zhizhen charged at him on Black Xi, Wang Ba remained motionless.

• Wang Ba used the Wind-Driving Staff to turn Yellow-Skinned Bodhisattva's yellow winds against him, then struck him down with the Ruyi Dao Treasure and claimed the Ochre Yellow Treasure Pearl.
• Fire Lotus Bodhisattva attacked Wang Ba with the Banner of Supreme Victory, but Wang Ba froze and then dispelled his heartfire with the Ancient Zither before nearly killing him with a palm strike.

Wang Ba fought Bodhisattva Zhizhen in a fierce Dharma combat, matching his six supreme-grade Dao Treasures and powerful Dharma manifestation. After Wang Ba’s beasts overwhelmed Zhizhen’s black xi and treasures, Zhizhen conceded.

• Bodhisattva Zhizhen attacked Wang Ba with six Dao Treasures, a black xi, and a shadowy divine light, but Wang Ba countered with his own treasures and Law of Heaven and Earth.
• Wang Ba endured a sneak attack from Zhizhen’s Vajra Pestle, then used the Halt ability to seize it and sever Zhizhen’s connection to the treasure.
• Wang Ba brought out his many Dao Treasures and the Torch Dragon, and the two sides charged as the spectators watched in shock at his arsenal.
• Wang Ba and Zhizhen fought evenly in close combat while the Torch Dragon and Zhizhen’s black xi struggled nearby; Wang Ba then summoned a Demonic Ape that empowered its staff with divine beasts and struck the black xi.

Wang Ba defeated Zhizhen and won the remaining matches in the Supreme True Buddha’s challenge, while Bai Liaochan prevented East Great Bodhisattva from taking his spoils. After the Supreme True Buddha’s forces withdrew, Wang Ba gave three of Zhizhen’s six supreme-grade Dao Treasures to the Cloud-Heaven Sect and agreed to visit its elders’ cultivation grounds.

• Wang Ba defeated Zhizhen, but East Great Bodhisattva drew him into a Buddha Kingdom and demanded the return of the Buddha Treasures and guardian divine beasts.
• Bai Liaochan confronted East Great Bodhisattva, insisted that Wang Ba had won fairly, and forced him to withdraw his claim to the spoils.
• Wang Ba defeated two more Bodhisattvas, completing five victories as the Supreme True Buddha’s monks withdrew from the challenge.

After hearing Hui Yunzi’s account of the Little Cang Realm’s crisis, Chongyuanzi promised to help its Myriad Phenomena Sect disciples if he survived the Supreme True Buddha’s attack, then received an urgent invitation to a celebration banquet from an expert surnamed Chen.

• Chongyuanzi awoke from seclusion and learned from the sect master that Taiyi had won five matches and the Cloud-Heaven Sect was holding a celebration banquet.
• Chongyuanzi rebuked the sect master for neglecting relations with other cultivators and insisted that the Myriad Phenomena Sect’s disciples from the Little Cang Realm belonged to the same sect.
• Hui Yunzi met Chongyuanzi and recounted the Little Cang Realm’s calamities, Wang Ba’s deeds, and the danger caused by the realm’s dwindling primal chaos source substance.
• Hui Yunzi asked to return to the Little Cang Realm, and Chongyuanzi promised to help its Myriad Phenomena Sect disciples if the Supreme True Buddha withdrew and he remained alive.

Wang Ba entered the Cloud-Heaven Sect’s Qian'guang Cave and, through its accumulated insights, created the Primordial Spirit method Myriad Streams Return to the Source. At the victory banquet, he reunited with Hui Yunzi and learned that Patriarch Qitian was with him.

• Wang Ba entered Qian'guang Cave for three days and absorbed the insights left by generations of Cloud-Heaven Sect cultivators.
• Wang Ba’s Primordial Spirit became an insubstantial void that absorbed surrounding spiritual impulses, and he named his method Myriad Streams Return to the Source.

• Wang Ba greeted Patriarch Qitian and Hui Yunzi, while Patriarch Qitian explained that Patriarch Chongyuan was too injured to attend.
• Patriarch Qitian told Hui Yunzi that he had treated Wang Ba as a peer because he did not know Wang Ba’s present intentions, then sent word of Wang Ba’s identity to Patriarch Chongyuan.

Wang Ba reunited with Patriarch Qitian, Hui Yunzi, and Lan He, gave them a Primordial Spirit Creation Pill for Patriarch Chongyuan, and stayed behind to discuss the Sea of Boundary Turmoil with Bai Liaochan. Bai Liaochan refused to consider breaking Sea-Cutting Cliff, and the chapter ended as the Supreme True Buddha’s forces approached again.

• Wang Ba introduced Patriarch Qitian, Hui Yunzi, and Lan He to Bai Liaochan, who greeted them respectfully.

As the victory banquet began, the Supreme True Buddha launched a surprise assault, and the Cloud-Heaven Realm’s Boundary Membrane was breached.

• Wang Ba reasoned that the Cloud-Heaven Sect’s repeated victory celebrations and Bai Liaochan’s warning to retreat suggested hidden dangers, then urged Hui Yunzi to bring the patriarchs to the Daoist grounds in secret.
• Wang Ba examined Black Xi and a Six Paths Pool Water-altered cultivator, finding mysterious golden markings on their Primordial Spirits, and reported his discovery to Bai Liaochan.

• As the Supreme True Buddha’s forces breached the Cloud-Heaven Realm, Sect Master Bai directed its defenders to draw the invading monks deeper inside rather than seal the boundary.
• Sect Master Bai sent Wang Ba to capture or kill Bodhisattva Zhizhen, and Wang Ba subdued him in nine breaths before returning.
• Lan He asked Wang Ba to save the Myriad Phenomena Sect, and Wang Ba realized that Gai True Person and the other Mahayana cultivators were outside the realm.

The Supreme True Buddha’s monks attacked the Azure Dragon Mountains, threatening the formations and the boundary membrane as Patriarch Qitian and Patriarch Chongyuan fought to hold them back. Wang Ba arrived in time to kill the bodhisattva and seize the surviving arhats, but the boundary membrane finally began to collapse as another Buddhist force announced its arrival.

• A bodhisattva and seven arhats attacked the formations protecting the Myriad Phenomena Sect, the Longevity Sect, and the Wandering Immortal Temple, while Patriarch Qitian flew out to stop them from breaking the boundary membrane.
• Patriarch Chongyuan used his compass to restrain the pursuing arhats, but the effort gravely weakened him as the Ochre-Robed Youth fought off five arhats above the barrier.
• The Ochre-Robed Youth killed two arhats, then fell under the attacks of the remaining three while Hui Yunzi and the others feared that Wang Ba would not arrive.

Wang Ba confronted Supreme True Buddha’s invasion as the boundary membrane broke and the Great Calamity began. He overwhelmed the monks who entered the Cloud-Heaven Realm, then stood at the breach and invited more to come, leaving the defenders newly hopeful.

• Still Cave’s Primordial Gods and Devils attacked the Buddha Kingdom, while the Cloud-Heaven Realm joined the assault and the West Great Bodhisattva recognized the invasion.
• The boundary membrane broke again, and Wang Ba reassured the Three Sects’ cultivators before flying up to meet the invading monks.
• Wang Ba swept away the first group of monks and defeated three Bodhisattvas, discovering that their Buddhist forms concealed powerful demonic bodies.
• Wang Ba subdued more Bodhisattvas and Arhats as they poured through the breach, while a beast from his sleeve plunged the defenders into darkness.
• When the light returned, the invading monks were gone, and Wang Ba stood at the breach inviting more eminent monks to enter.

Wang Ba held back waves of Supreme True Buddha monks at the Boundary Membrane, then confronted the Northern Great Bodhisattva, who overwhelmed his defense. Just as Wang Ba faced capture, Chao Shi arrived on a many-headed Fierce Lion and drove the monks back with a roar.

• Wang Ba guarded a breach in the Boundary Membrane, then withdrew and released the Wu Ape King and Four Spirits to attack invading monks elsewhere.
• Wang Ba warned Chongyuanzi that Azure Dragon Mountain Lineage might need to leave the Cloud-Heaven Realm, and Chongyuanzi left the decision to him.

As the Supreme True Buddha’s forces fought in the Cloud-Heaven Realm, Celestial Lord Chao revealed himself to save Wang Ba and draw out Buddha Lord Tianshang. When Tianshang appeared, Bai Liaochan led the Cloud-Heaven cultivators into battle, and Celestial Lord Chao flew beyond the boundary to confront the immense seated Buddha.

• In the Boundary Sea, Yin Tianzhi urged the waiting rogue cultivators to unite with the Cloud-Heaven Realm, but Prefecture Lord Fan and others insisted they should wait until victory seemed possible.
• The Northern Great Bodhisattva ambushed Wang Ba, but Wang Ba endured his palm strike before Celestial Lord Chao arrived and drove the Bodhisattva back with a lion’s roar.
• Celestial Lord Chao praised Wang Ba and explained to Bai Liaochan that he had revealed himself to protect his disciple and force Buddha Lord Tianshang to act.
• The Northern Great Bodhisattva tried to escape, but Celestial Lord Chao’s Myriad-Headed Lion Beast attacked him until Tianshang’s seated Buddha statue used the Demon-Subduing Mudra to pull him to safety.

The Cloud-Heaven Realm trapped the Supreme True Buddha’s forces in a realm-wide formation while its cultivators fought to hold them back. Wang Ba realized the battle was meant to distract the enemy from Gai True Person and Xiahou Heavenly Demon’s assault on the Supreme True Buddha’s lair, then prepared to protect Bai Liaochan from a Bodhisattva attack.

• The Purple Robes Youth linked the Cloud-Heaven Realm’s boundary membrane to its formations, trapping the invading monks and distributing their attacks across the realm.
• The East Great Bodhisattva and South Great Bodhisattva tried to organize their forces, while Cloud-Heaven Realm cultivators and reinforcements engaged them in battle.
• The South Great Bodhisattva ordered more than twenty Bodhisattvas to attack Bai Liaochan, who was straining to control the realm-wide formations.
• Wang Ba learned that Gai True Person and Xiahou Heavenly Demon had begun a secret assault on the Supreme True Buddha’s Boundary Sea Vortex and Buddha Kingdom, and understood that the Cloud-Heaven Realm was serving as bait.

The Lord of the Still Cave destroyed the lotus branch at the Reclining Buddha, awakening Buddha Lord Tianshang and shocking the Cloud-Heaven cultivator who had hired him. In the Cloud-Heaven Realm, Wang Ba used the Torch Dragon and Silkworm Dragon Staff to deceive and kill Bodhisattvas, then plunged them into darkness again to continue his attack.

• The Lord of the Still Cave crossed the battlefield and beheaded the West Great Bodhisattva, revealing his Mahayana-level strength.
• The Lord of the Still Cave confirmed with the Cloud-Heaven cultivator that destroying the Reclining Buddha would fulfill their agreement, then broke the lotus branch in the Buddha's hand.

• At the Boundary Sea, Gai True Person, Heavenly Demon Xiahou, and the master of the Still Cave advanced toward the Reclining Buddha as the other attackers fled.
• Wang Ba suppressed the Bodhisattvas’ perceptions and killed several while they struggled to locate and counter him.
• Wang Ba disguised himself as Bodhisattva Zhijiu, then plunged the group back into darkness and sowed suspicion among them.
• The Bodhisattvas attacked Bodhisattva Zhishang after Bodhisattva Zhiwei died, but Wang Ba continued striking from the darkness.

Wang Ba helped turn the battle in the Cloud-Heaven Realm by killing Arhats, while Bai Liaochan confronted the newly arrived Great Bodhisattvas. As the Northern Great Bodhisattva targeted Wang Ba, a Myriad-Headed Lion Beast crashed into the realm, and a voice announced that Xiahou Heavenly Demon had fallen and Gai True Person and the Lord of the Still Cave had fled.

• The Boundary Membrane broke, allowing Great Bodhisattvas Sun Truth and Moon Truth to enter and attack Wang Ba, but Bai Liaochan intervened to fight them.
• Wang Ba used his Great Brush to kill Arhats and disrupt the enemy ranks, giving the Cloud-Heaven Realm's cultivators a chance to regain the initiative.

Wang Ba escaped the collapsing Cloud-Heaven Realm with the Three Sects while the Buddhist forces overwhelmed its defenders. After Chao Shi fell, Wang Ba fled through a sealed void barrier and reappeared outside Soulfall Marsh.

• Buddha Lord Tianshang defeated Xiahou Heavenly Demon and the other Mahayana cultivators, while the Northern Great Bodhisattva tried to seize Wang Ba.

• The Northern Great Bodhisattva ambushed Wang Ba outside Soulfall Marsh, but Wang Ba used the Memorial Tablets and Torch Dragon to escape into the marsh.
• Wang Ba searched Soulfall Marsh for the Boundary Sea Vortices while the Northern Great Bodhisattva pursued him through the marsh and fended off its Fierce Beasts.

At the Demon-Seizing Dao, a Boundary Sea Vortex unexpectedly opened and the Blue-Robed Figure emerged, shocking White Hair by returning after more than two hundred years.

• Cultivators hiding outside the Cloud-Heaven Realm learned that Xiahou Heavenly Demon and Celestial Lord Chao had died, while Gai True Person and the Lord of the Still Cave had fled, and decided to return to the Ruins of Zhangshi.
