Wang Ba and a group of Tribulation Crossing cultivators entered Soulfall Marsh on their way to reinforce the Cloud-Heaven Realm, where the chaotic rules and lurking beasts threatened them. After Wang Ba captured a hidden black fox and earned Ba True Person’s respect, the group found a world embryo and reached a peaceful stretch of void filled with Boundary Sea Vortexes.

• Ba True Person warned the group about Soulfall Marsh and led them into it, while Wang Ba placed a Command Token outside the marsh to track their position.
• A cultivator’s Primordial Spirit drifted out in the marsh’s phantom winds, and Ba True Person slapped it back into the cultivator’s body and ordered everyone to seal their five senses.
• When Ba True Person rebuked Wang Ba for keeping his senses open, Wang Ba swept his sleeve and captured a black fox hidden in the wind before it could attack.
• Ba True Person recognized Wang Ba’s abilities, apologized for his earlier attitude, and asked him to help guard the group as they continued.
• The group encountered a world embryo concealing a vicious creature, and Ba True Person warned them not to approach it.
• Ba True Person led the group to a stretch of void where dozens of Boundary Sea Vortexes slowly revolved.

Wang Ba and the other cultivators reached the Cloud-Heaven Realm, only to find the Supreme True Buddha’s forces waiting to ambush them. Wang Ba killed an Arhat and then defeated a Bodhisattva, but more enemies arrived as the battle continued.

• Ba True Person identified a Boundary Sea Vortex leading to the Cloud-Heaven Realm, and the cultivators formed an array before entering it.
• The group emerged near the Cloud-Heaven Realm and saw the Supreme True Buddha’s enormous statue looming nearby.
• As the cultivators hurried toward the realm, hidden monks ambushed them, destroying Ba True Person’s and True Person Nie’s flying Dao Treasures and engaging the group.
• Wang Ba crushed the old monk who confronted him with his Xuanhuang Dao Domain.
• Wang Ba fought the Black-Bearded Bodhisattva, killed him with a sword-ray, and took his ruyi Dao Treasure.
• More than ten figures surrounded by demonic Qi rushed toward the cultivators after the Black-Bearded Bodhisattva fell.

Wang Ba rescued Ba True Person, True Person Nie, and the other cultivators while fighting off the Supreme True Buddha’s forces, then discovered his junior fellow disciple Shen Fu among the demonic attackers. As Shen Fu attacked him, Wang Ba heard a faint warning from Shen Fu not to hold back, leaving their apparent confrontation in doubt.

• Wang Ba suppressed the Arhats with his Xuanhuang Dao Domain and Ancient Zither, then gathered the besieged cultivators into his sleeve.
• Wang Ba rescued True Person Nie and Ba True Person from the Bodhisattvas’ attacks, though True Person Nie’s body was severed before he reached her.
• Shen Fu arrived with the demonic forces and showed no sign of recognizing Wang Ba, who feared his junior fellow disciple had been corrupted.
• Wang Ba killed the blue-green Bodhisattva with two Sword-Rays as the other Bodhisattvas and demonic figures surrounded him.
• Wang Ba summoned the Torch Dragon to plunge the area into darkness, then approached Shen Fu and grappled with him.
• Wang Ba heard Shen Fu whisper that he should not hold back, or others might grow suspicious and Shen Fu would be unable to send him away.

Wang Ba learned from Shen Fu that the Supreme True Buddha planned to send an Arhat into the Sea of Boundary Turmoil, then fought through an ambush at the Boundary Sea Vortex. He pierced the hidden barrier and introduced himself to the arriving Cloud-Heaven cultivators as Taiyi.

• Shen Fu warned Wang Ba that an invisible net surrounded the area and revealed the Supreme True Buddha's plans to send an Arhat into the Sea of Boundary Turmoil.
• Cloud-Heaven Sect Sect Master Bai sent Chen Zhongqi and others to rescue the cultivators at the Boundary Sea Vortex after seeing them ambushed by four Bodhisattvas and eleven Arhats.
• Wang Ba used his methods to defeat Arhats and drive back Bodhisattvas, then used the Female Bodhisattva as a shield and killed a demonic shadow while escaping the attackers.
• Wang Ba discovered the hidden wall of rules blocking his path, then pierced it with his sword and killed a Dao Master as the pursuing forces recoiled.
• The Three-Eyed Bodhisattva and the others withdrew when Chen Zhongqi's reinforcements arrived, and Wang Ba thanked Chen Zhongqi while introducing himself as Taiyi.

Wang Ba escaped the Northern Great Bodhisattva’s ambush with help from Bai Liaochan, then entered the Cloud-Heaven Realm and discovered its abundant resources. He traded high-grade Dao Treasures for World Remains and other treasures until Bai Liaochan invited him to the Daoist Grounds and offered access to the treasury.

• Wang Ba sensed the Northern Great Bodhisattva’s attack and pushed Chen Zhongqi and the others away before escaping the suction with his giant bird phantom.
• Bai Liaochan appeared, stopped the Northern Great Bodhisattva’s assault, and ordered Chen Zhongqi to take Wang Ba into the Cloud-Heaven Realm.
• Wang Ba released Ba True Person, True Person Nie, and the others, who thanked him for saving them; True Person Nie gave him World Remains in gratitude.
• After learning that World Remains contained the rules of a realm, Wang Ba exchanged a high-grade Dao Treasure for True Person Nie’s stone, then traded more treasures with the gathered cultivators.
• Bai Liaochan arrived at the boundary membrane and told Chen Zhongqi to invite Wang Ba to the Daoist Grounds, where he could select treasures from the treasury or barter for them.
