Once its formation was complete, the entire Council began operating, and Kael'thas also prepared to organize the army for a march south to Lordaeron. Kael'thas would take Sunfury and Eclipse, two of Quel'Thalas's main armies, along with the Bloodsworn Guard, the Blood Guard, the Firewing forces, and others.
The forces formerly belonging to the Council faction had all been brought together by the newly appointed Countess Liadrin. The remnants of the Dawnblade Family had been renamed the Dawn's Edge Burning Legion, comprising the remnants of the former Morningwalker and Dawnstar families.
Most of the forces Kael'thas took with him had originally belonged to the Royalists, and he made few arrangements for the former Council faction's troops. During the formation of the new Council, Patrick had already expressed his intention to integrate all the factions of Quel'Thalas. Every department of the new Council mixed members of the Royalists, the Council faction, and others, precisely to prevent the old factional struggles from recurring.
The mindset that had been deeply rooted among the Blood Elves for thousands of years also needed to change gradually. Judging by Silvermoon City's current development, things were already better than before by an immeasurable degree.
The radiant Sunfury Spire, that symbol of Sin'dorei arcane magic, had regained its former splendor. Though it differed from the blue Arcane Brilliance of the past, at least it could now reassure all the Blood Elves, pointing the way for those in darkness like a lighthouse.
