Energy poured powerfully from the Discs of Norgannon, and the scenery around the Observatory still resembled the universe. However, a presence familiar to Patrick emerged once again from the Discs of Norgannon, and Norgannon's phantom appeared before him.
This time, Norgannon no longer appeared within Patrick's Sea of Consciousness, but projected himself into the real world.
"Hello! We meet again." This Norgannon behaved completely differently from before. The Norgannon who appeared this time possessed intelligence, rather than simply pouring knowledge into Patrick as he had previously.
"You're the Titan Norgannon?" Patrick was somewhat startled. The phantom of Norgannon before him was enormous. Fortunately, the Observatory's surroundings had become the vast expanse of space; otherwise, such a small Observatory could never have contained him. Before Norgannon, Patrick was like a mosquito beside a human's eye.
Although he was only a phantom, Norgannon's appearance was clearly discernible. His face was stern and expressionless, and Arcane power shone upon his platinum skin. He wore a long, hooded cloak that covered his head and a belted tunic, and he had a long beard. The light of wisdom shone in his eyes.
"I am the master of the Arcane, knowledge, wisdom, and books. Aman'Thul appointed me to oversee runes and magic throughout the universe. Naturally, that includes Arcane Magic originating in the Twisting Nether, as well as spells composed of certain other energies."
This was Patrick's first encounter with an intelligent Titan projection, and he did not know why Norgannon had sought him out. In terms of strength, Patrick's Immortal-level power was utterly insignificant before a Titan.
"What did you seek me out for?"
"Don't be nervous, little one." Norgannon's tone was calm. "Now that you have reached this height, you can naturally learn more about the nature of energy."
