Obito abandoned his plan to destroy the world and became the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, suppressing the beast’s consciousness with his determination. He reunited with Rin and used Outer Path: Rinne Rebirth to give her a chance to live a normal life.
Obito broke free of Black Zetsu and used Rinne Rebirth to resurrect Rin, Kushina, and the fallen shinobi, then agreed to revive Hashirama and Tobirama at Anyo’s request. As Obito’s strength dwindled, he began resurrecting the two former Hokage while Anyo prepared to face Madara.
Obito gave his remaining power and eyes to Kakashi and Anyo before dying, while Madara fought the Hokage and attacked the Allied Shinobi Forces to reclaim the Tailed Beasts. The chapter ended with Madara extracting the Nine-Tails from Naruto, leaving him lifeless as Kushina cried out.
Anyo saved Naruto after the Nine-Tails was extracted and confronted Madara after he became the Ten-Tails’ Jinchuriki. Their battle began with Anyo striking Madara through the heart, but Madara healed and the two clashed with powerful techniques.
Anyo and Madara fought an escalating battle, each countering the other's techniques until their Complete Body Susanoo clashed. As Anyo unleashed a renewed Susanoo and the power to annihilate matter, Madara escaped its attack and revealed the Nine-Tomoe Rinne Sharingan.
Madara cast Infinite Tsukuyomi, trapping most of the shinobi world while Anyo and several others remained protected by darkness or Susanoo. Black Zetsu betrayed Madara and revealed that the genjutsu was meant to gather chakra for Kaguya, who then emerged through Madara’s body.
Anyo fought Kaguya across several dimensions, using her spatial techniques and the natural energy around him to counter her attacks. After pinning Black Zetsu and closing in on Kaguya, he held her and asked to talk.
Anyo revealed that he had used Kotoamatsukami to manipulate Kaguya and Black Zetsu, then sealed Black Zetsu with Planetary Devastation. As the surviving fighters searched for Anyo and Madara, Samui insisted that Anyo would be fine, though Mei asked why he had fought her.
Anyo confronted Kaguya in her Primordial Ball Space and demanded the Chakra Fruit, then fought her after negotiations failed. Outside, Hagoromo appeared and revealed that Anyo had deliberately caused Infinite Tsukuyomi to release Kaguya.
Sasori revealed that Anyo had allowed the Infinite Tsukuyomi as part of his plan to take chakra from the ninja and change the ninja system, while Hagoromo explained how Naruto and Sasuke could undo it. In the Primordial Ball Space, Anyo subdued Kaguya, sealed her Rinne Sharingan, forced her into rabbit form, and expelled the tailed beasts along with Madara Uchiha.
Anyo defeated Kaguya and Madara, then returned with the Nine Tailed Beasts and gave Madara time to meet Hashirama. Naruto challenged Anyo’s plan to drain the Allied Shinobi Forces’ chakra and destroy the ninja system, leaving him at odds with Minato and the others.
Anyo refused Naruto’s demand to release the Infinite Tsukuyomi, so Naruto and Sasuke challenged him. Anyo countered their attacks with the Rinnegan and Limbo: Border Jail, leaving Sasuke pinned and Naruto’s clones destroyed.
Anyo defeated Naruto and Sasuke, then explained that Tobirama and Minato would govern the world after the shinobi system ended. Tobirama accepted the role and ordered Anyo to leave the world forever, prompting Sasori to threaten him.
Anyo created Sky City by merging the God Tree with his Iron Fortress and revealed it as a home and divine stronghold for people with chakra. After explaining that he would confront threats beyond Kaguya, he turned his attention to the Tailed Beasts and gave Three-Tails to Rin.
Anyo let the tailed beasts choose where to go, but reclaimed the chakra of those who wanted to live freely. He then dispelled Infinite Tsukuyomi, and Seven-Tails and Shukaku reunited with Fū and Gaara in Death Poison Valley.
After Hagoromo vanished, Anyo used separate spacetimes to reunite with Tsunade, Mei Terumi, and Samui and arrange weddings with each of them. He then asked Kikyo to bring the Senju brothers and another person to help with the ceremonies.
After the war, Anyo prepared to leave the shinobi world and entrusted Sky City and its God Tree to Sasori and Kaguya. Kaguya revealed her origins and warned of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, while Anyo suspected her supposedly dead companion might still be alive and then departed for Orochimaru’s laboratory.
Anyo invited Orochimaru, Shigemitsu, and Jiraiya to his wedding with Tsunade, then celebrated weddings with Samui and others across several villages. Deidara and Kikyo traveled between the ceremonies, where Deidara’s fireworks turned the celebrations into spectacular displays.
On the eve of leaving Kumogakure, Anyo said farewell to Mabui and Mei Terumi, promising to return after investigating the Ōtsutsuki Clan. In Konoha, Kakashi proposed to Rin, White Fang chose to teach swordsmanship, and Naruto learned that the war was over and the nations had united and begun abolishing the ninja profession.
Neji learned the truth about his father’s sacrifice and accepted Hyuga Hiashi’s offer to become the next clan head. Anyo agreed to star in Koyuki’s Sailor Moon movie, but Kikyo revealed that Yugao had gone missing, leaving Anyo alarmed.
Anyo traveled to the moon to find Yugao and Konan, rescuing them from Toneri and bringing Kaguya before the lunar Ōtsutsuki clan. He reunited with Yugao through a dance and reached out to Konan, ending the story with the two women beside him on the moon.
