After White Fang persuaded him to spare the Land of Fire's daimyo, Anyo killed the other four daimyo and controlled their souls, while White Fang escorted the survivor into hiding.

• Minato stopped fights among the gathered shinobi with his shuriken and rallied them with a speech, while Anyo went to the daimyo's hideout.
• Kakashi told White Fang that Anyo had been assigned to protect the daimyo, and White Fang took up his old ninja gear and headed to join him.
• White Fang confronted Anyo, who confessed that he had helped bring about Konoha's destruction and planned to eliminate the daimyo to change the Shinobi World.
• Minato assigned Tsunade to lead medical and logistical support after reporting that roughly a hundred thousand enemies had been detected.

With the vaults emptied and the next stage underway, Anyo agreed to accompany Konan to Amegakure, while someone followed them from behind.

• Minato learned that Hidan had killed the five Daimyo using their blood and ordered Allied Forces units to prioritize eliminating him and sealing his body.
• Kakuzu learned the Daimyo’s bounty value and joined Anyo’s Rinnegan meeting with the Zero Organization, where members introduced themselves and received missions to rob all five national vaults.
• Anyo assigned the Land of Wind to Sasori and Deidara, the Land of Fire to Haku, Konan, and Yugao, the Land of Lightning to Mabui, the Land of Water to Neji, and the Land of Earth to Kakuzu.

• Konan took Anyo to their old meeting place and admitted that Madara Uchiha had told her Anyo had taken her as a student to obtain Nagato’s Rinnegan.
• Konan revealed that she had prepared millions of Explosive Tags and embraced Anyo as she tried to kill them both, but Anyo’s Mangekyō Sharingan revealed the attack as a genjutsu.
• Konan told Anyo that Yugao knew he had killed Gekko Hayate and his father, and Anyo disowned Konan before leaving.
• Anyo found Yugao and admitted that he had killed Gekko Hayate and his father, while Yugao said she could not let her best friend die for nothing.

Yugao attacked Anyo, who let her stab him before cutting Waning Moon in two and leaving her distraught with Konan. After Haku calmed Anyo, he contacted Inoichi and set out to destroy the White Zetsu threatening the Allied Forces, with Minato confident he would succeed.

• Anyo provoked Yugao into using the Blade-Breaking Technique, then let Waning Moon pierce his left chest and cut the sword in two.
• Anyo left Yugao with Konan, who admitted she wanted to leave the world, while Yugao watched snow begin to fall.
• Haku found Anyo and promised to stand by him even if he chose to kill Yugao and Konan, calming his anger.

Anyo unleashed the Supreme Edge and wiped out the White Zetsu on the battlefield, drawing Obito and Kabuto’s attention. He then faced the reanimated Third Raikage and defeated him with a technique called Forget Worry.

• Anyo released the Six Paths Sharp Edge into 1,296 blades and slaughtered the White Zetsu in the Allied Shinobi Forces’ path.

• Anyo killed the Third Raikage with one slash, and Inoichi reported that the White Zetsu were retreating after his attacks.

• Anyo received reports that the Land of Grass, the Land of Rivers, and the Land of Rice Fields had submitted, and said only the final step of his plan remained.
• Anyo told Haku to spend time with Little White and then traveled to Kumogakure to find Mabui, who was upset that Samui had seemed to get ahead of her.
• Anyo took Mabui’s hand and agreed to accompany her to the battlefield, where she planned to conduct on-site interviews and a live broadcast.
• Mabui remembered that she was the presenter for Ninja Network News and had forgotten her broadcasting duties.

Anyo and Mabui reached Naruto and Killer B to conduct a live interview for the Allied Shinobi Forces. After Anyo incapacitated Killer B and Naruto spoke about fighting Madara, the two jinchūriki left for the battlefield, while Anyo appeared unwell.

• Anyo sped Mabui to a medical base, then headed toward Naruto and Killer B to begin a live broadcast with Mabui as host.
• Anyo and Mabui confronted Naruto and Killer B; Mabui began the interview while Killer B tried to rap into the camera.
• At Mabui's request, Anyo used his Mystical Palm Technique and Mangekyō Sharingan to stop time, sever Killer B's neural connections, and knock him unconscious.

• Anyo kissed Mabui, then sensed Mikoto watching him through her Mangekyō Sharingan and learned Sasuke was near death.
• Mabui used the Heavenly Transfer Technique to send Anyo home, where he found Jūgo keeping Sasuke alive and healed Sasuke’s chest wound.
• Mikoto explained that Sasuke had left to join the Fourth Shinobi World War and pursue revolution after becoming Hokage, but a person in black had attacked him; Kikyo was pursuing the attacker.
• Anyo found that Sasuke’s Mangekyō Sharingan was close to blindness and decided to give him an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

He accelerated the Nine Tailed Beasts’ growth, and after they emerged from the destroyed Experiment Chambers, he immobilized them with his Mangekyō Sharingan.

• Anyo took Kikyo to Orochimaru’s Northern Hideout and asked about the child Orochimaru had created, who he said was too precious to use as a transmigration vessel.
• Orochimaru explained that the child regarded Anyo as a god and had arranged for Kabuto to ally with Obito and start the Fourth Shinobi World War.
• Anyo learned Kikyo had preserved Jiraiya’s soul with the Spirit Control Technique and placed him in a toad puppet that could only croak.
• Anyo used Instant to accelerate the Nine Tailed Beasts’ growth while Orochimaru pushed their Experiment Chambers to maximum settings.

• Madara summoned a meteor, and Sasori recognized his resurrected parents among the allied ninja and rushed to protect them.
• Ōnoki slowed the first meteor, while Sasori combined his mecha puppets into a giant that helped hold back a second one.
• Madara summoned a third meteor, but the golden figure's Rasengan, Water Release, and Lightning Swordsmanship shattered or pierced the meteors, allowing Sasori and Ōnoki to destroy them.
