Across the watery curtain of Purity Nirvana light, deep fissures had appeared in some places, with several wide enough to reveal Dao Lord Chengkong's Primordial Spirit directly. Other places collapsed inch by inch in chain after chain of destruction, spreading deep into the azure light toward the Primordial Spirit protected by his Dao practice. Still other places were thrown into utter chaos, as though they had reached the pass of no return, spontaneously splitting into several pathways where the light was sparse. Elsewhere, the azure light grew thinner and thinner, while Dao Lord Chengkong's Dao practice dwindled at a terrifying pace.
A small portion of the powers of Slaughter, Destruction, and Fate Destruction even pierced through or spread onto Dao Lord Chengkong's Primordial Spirit itself, instantly rendering it extremely illusory and rapidly weakening its aura. Had Dao Lord Chengkong not retained his awareness and repeatedly used divine abilities to suppress the three powers of the End, he would likely have already stood at the brink of death.
Even so, Dao Lord Chengkong's Primordial Spirit was grievously wounded and nearly fell from his realm.
