The two Shadow Wolves received Radeus's orders and began racing ahead. They passed quite a few monsters along the way, all of which were dealt with by the other shikigami. Radeus did not waste the corpses left behind, storing them directly in his shadow.
"Today's such a lovely day..."
Radeus sat in the carriage, singing.
"What happened? Why are you so happy? Are you in heat?"
Tia asked Radeus.
"Oh, I haven't told you yet, have I? My little brother Rudeus is nearby too. I'm on my way to meet up with him!"
Contrary to his usual behavior, Radeus did not get angry. Instead, he cheerfully explained to Tia.
"Rudeus? Your little brother?"
While Radeus and Tia were still talking, the carriage stopped.
Radeus narrowed his eyes, his tone turning hostile. No one was allowed to interrupt the brothers' reunion.
"Looks like we have an uninvited guest!"
An enormous turtle monster blocked the road Radeus was traveling on, roaring toward the carriage.
Radeus opened the carriage door and stepped out. He decided to deal with this thing himself.
"A Great King Land Turtle? So this should be the Demon Continent, right?"
Radeus recognized the creature at a glance. These things only appeared on the Demon Continent and were even larger than five-ton trucks. They were one of the staple foods of the Demon Continent's inhabitants, and killing just one provided a great deal of meat. He had heard they tasted pretty good, too.
Facing this enormous creature, Radeus's Six Eyes began shining with dazzling blue light. He drew his staff-sword from his shadow and began casting magic at the Great King Land Turtle.
"Have a sun!"
"Come from the heights of Babylon and burn into a sun!"
An enormous fireball appeared above the Great King Land Turtle's head, then crashed
