Meanwhile, in Metropolis, thousands of kilometers away.

Sunlight spilled into the room as Solomon's clone sat at a computer, looking through photographs.

He had screened every record of meteor showers, photograph of impact craters, and anomalous geological report from the past thirty years, especially those around the year Clark arrived on Earth.

"Around Kansas, the outskirts of Metropolis, the Maine coastline..."

These were all the most densely concentrated impact sites from the meteor shower in the year Clark arrived.

"Time to go inspect the goods."

Looking at the photographs, he willed himself to use Sulfur Teleportation to teleport directly to the locations pictured.

But... the air remained still.

Nothing happened except for the breeze blowing in through the window.

There was no smell of sulfur, no burst of smoke. He was still standing, perfectly intact, inside the safe house.

An oddly awkward atmosphere settled over the room.

"Huh?"

The clone froze for a moment, then raised a hand to his forehead, unable to suppress a wry smile.

Only then did it suddenly strike him that Sulfur Teleportation was not purely a matter of tearing through space. It worked by having the user enter the Brimstone Dimension for an instant, then jump out at the target coordinates.

But this was the DC Universe. There was no such thing as the Brimstone Dimension here!

This is a bit of a problem!

He had originally thought he could use Sulfur Teleportation to fly over instantly and scoop up all the meteorites as long as he had photographs of these meteor showers.

Now that shortcut was blocked. If he had to travel to each address online himself and scour the countryside, how long would it take?

"Forget it. I'll find someone else to handle this tedious busywork."

A gleam flashed through the clone's eyes.
