Background / History
God King Tang is Tang San's future self: a former male Tang Sect successor who became the holder of the dual Sea God and Asura God positions, one of the God Kings of the God Realm. She possesses memories of Tang Sect techniques, the creation of Buddha's Fury Tang Lotus, and her leap from Ghost's Lament. 76 83 93
Xiao Yexuan used a Summoning Card on the present-day Tang San, drawing God King Tang's future soul into the past. The summoning left her as a powerless divine presence dependent on Tang San's survival and initially able to contact her only in dreams. 75 76
Believing Tang San to be a useful proxy, God King Tang initially concealed her weakness and presented herself as a divine benefactor. She offered knowledge, inheritance, and a path toward godhood in exchange for Tang San's help locating someone and rebuilding her strength. 76 77 78
Tang San eventually identified her as her future self through Tang Sect secret codes and shared memories. God King Tang struggled to accept that this version of herself had become female and was living under Xiao Yexuan's control. 83
After Xiao Yexuan discovered the divine soul, he extracted it from Tang San and gave it an independent childlike body. Though freed from sharing Tang San's body, God King Tang remained physically weak and became vulnerable to both Xiao Yexuan and Tang San. 85 86 92
Appearance
God King Tang presently inhabits a small, childlike female body created by Xiao Yexuan and Ah Yin. Her appearance contrasts sharply with her former authority as a God King. 86
- Long, beautiful hair, initially used to cover herself after her body was created. 86
- Small and light enough for Tang San to lift easily. 106
- Resembles Tang San in hair color and appearance. 144
- Uses the Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul after regaining enough strength. 144
Personality
God King Tang is proud, domineering, and intensely attached to the authority she once held as a God King. Even while powerless, she repeatedly invokes her former status and expects Tang San and others to obey her. 76 92 175
Her loss of power exposes a calculating and pragmatic side. She first attempts to manipulate Tang San through promises of divinity, later seeks Ah Yin's support with knowledge of the future, and recruits Dai Mubai as an ally and enforcer. 77 89 115
She is also vengeful and easily provoked by humiliation. Once her Soul Rings are restored, she uses her new strength to establish herself as captain of the Yexuan Seven Saints and intimidate those who previously opposed or disregarded her. 148 149
