Qian Ran used the captive Tang Hao’s suffering to pressure Ah Yin into submitting to him, then fed Tang Hao to the undead in hopes of strengthening them. Ah Yin begged Qian Ran to spare Tang Hao before fainting, while Tang Hao remained trapped and in agony.

• Qian Ran brought the crippled, bound Tang Hao before Ah Yin and said he might spare him if she obeyed.
• Tang Hao urged Qian Ran to punish him instead, but Qian Ran kicked and stomped on him while Xiao Wu restrained Ah Yin.
• Qian Ran said Tang Hao’s flesh could nourish the undead and summoned Nana’s parents and other undead creatures.

Ah Yin begged Qian Ran to stop torturing Tang Hao, but Qian Ran demanded that she suffer in Tang Hao’s place. He left her with the choice of submitting to him or letting Tang Hao continue to endure his punishment.

• Ah Yin pleaded with Qian Ran to spare Tang Hao, and Qian Ran said he would remain alive even as a soul in the Undead World.

After Xu Tianran’s death, Zhang Lexuan took the Sun Moon Empire’s throne, while Qian Ran comforted Xu Tianzhen and made her his lover. In the Undead World, Qian Ran confronted Huo Yuhao, who warned that Tang San would attack him to save his family.
