Qian Ran gathered powerful allies and brought the Martial Soul Sect to Mingdu, where its ties to Spirit Hall alarmed the other factions. After defeating the Earth Dragon Sect and recruiting Nan Qiuqiu, he turned his attention to the Soul Engineer Tournament and strengthening the Xishui Alliance.

• Qian Ran brought Xiao Wu to Mingdu and convinced her that the Tang San she knew had been possessed by the Asura God, while the Shrek team and other delegations arrived for the tournament.
• Qian Ran met Xu Jiujiu, Ye Xishui, and Feng Ling, sharing knowledge with Xu Jiujiu, helping Ye Xishui advance, and gaining Feng Ling’s loyalty.
• Qian Renxue joined the Martial Soul Sect team in Spirit Hall’s Papal Robe, and the Holy Spirit Cult’s Zhang Peng and Feng Ling recognized that her presence suppressed their evil powers.
• Xu Tianran opened the tournament, while Qian Ran left the venue to reunite with Zhang Lexuan and learned that she had traced her origins to the Moon Family.
• Qian Renxue confirmed she was pregnant, and Qian Ran later challenged the entire Earth Dragon Sect team after recognizing Nan Qiuqiu.
• Qian Ran defeated Nan Qiuqiu’s team and offered her a place in the Martial Soul Sect, prompting Nan Shuishui to consider aligning the Earth Dragon Sect with Spirit Hall’s successor.
• Vina asked Nan Qiuqiu about the Martial Soul Sect as she considered its possible role against the Sun Moon Empire’s Royal Soul Tool Legion.
• Qian Ran agreed to represent the Xishui Alliance in the Soul Engineer Tournament and told Feng Ling to recruit candidates for his Soul Engineer Maid Corps.

Qian Ran drew Ye Guyi into the Undead World’s plans, helped Feng Ling seize control of the Holy Spirit Cult, and began moving its members into the plane. The arc ended with Xu Tianran preparing to confront Qian Ran with the Clear Sky Sect and the gods’ support.

• Qian Ran brought Xiao Wu into his power, and Tang San sensed her broken seal, feared for Tang Wutong, and planned a secret rescue.
• Qian Ran received an Enlightenment Tea Tree and divine cores, while Feng Ling recruited women for him and Tang Wutong rejected Huo Yuhao.
• Tang Hao sent Da Ming and Er Ming with Clear Sky Sect fighters to Mingdu, then went to Shrek Academy to awaken Ah Yin.
• Qian Ran joined Ye Xishui at the Soul Engineer Tournament, where his undead army defeated Ye Guyi and he took her to the Mustard Seed Ring.
• Qian Ran revealed his holy and evil angel forms to Ye Guyi, explained his plan to shelter Evil Soul Masters in the Undead World, and assigned her to guard it under Qian Renxue’s training.
• Qian Ran showed Zhongli Wu the Undead World, and Feng Ling poisoned and struck him, took the Pontiff Token, and became the Holy Spirit Cult’s pontiff.
• Qian Ran authorized Feng Ling to move lower-ranked Evil Soul Masters into the Undead World while postponing the full transfer until after Xu Tianran was dealt with.
• Xu Tianran questioned Huo Yuhao about the Clear Sky Sect, and Huo Yuhao said Tang Hao and Ah Yin would help them slay Qian Ran’s forces.
