Qian Ran drew Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao into dealings with him by offering pills that restored Ye Xishui’s youth, while he continued teaching and deepening his relationships with Meng Hongchen and Ju Zi. The arc ended with Zhongli Wu arriving as Qian Ran and Ju Zi prepared for the Holy Spirit Cult’s involvement in their lives.

• Qian Ran brought Zhu Ying and eight Zhu Family women into the Mustard Seed Ring, where Huo Yun'er took charge of them and assigned the Dai Family maids to train them.
• Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao confronted Qian Ran, who discussed godhood with them and traded Long Xiaoyao pills that restored Ye Xishui’s youth in exchange for resources and promised Level 9 Soul Tools.
• Qian Ran broke through to Soul Emperor, trained Keke, Ju Zi, and Meng Hongchen in soul engineering and Spiritual Power, and grew closer to Meng Hongchen.
• Meng Hongchen rejected Huo Yuhao’s advances and defended her relationship with Qian Ran, who later became her husband and received Enlightenment Tea from the system.
• Jing Hongchen learned that Qian Ran’s pills were beyond Mingde Hall’s ability to reproduce and accepted that Meng Hongchen’s relationship with him was her choice.
• Xu Tianran suspected Ju Zi loved Qian Ran and considered using the Imperial Preceptor against him, but held back because he still needed Qian Ran’s help.
• Ju Zi wore a cosplay outfit for Qian Ran, who photographed her, while Xu Tianran recognized how happy she was with him and decided not to act against Qian Ran yet.
• Ju Zi told Qian Ran she would stop helping Xu Tianran and protect their future child from him, as Zhongli Wu arrived and Qian Ran identified him as the Holy Spirit Cult’s Level 98 Cult Master.

Qian Ran used Enlightenment Tea and the Undead Demiplane to deepen his ties with Ye Xishui, help Snow Empress become a Demigod, and advance Ye Xishui’s cultivation. He returned to Shrek Academy, reunited with Dong'er, and persuaded Zhang Lexuan to pursue the Sun Moon Empire’s throne with his support.

• Ye Xishui intervened after Zhongli Wu attacked Qian Ran, warned Zhongli Wu not to target him, and learned that Qian Ran’s pill had restored her body.
• Qian Ran showed Ye Xishui the Undead Demiplane and gave her Enlightenment Tea, which brought her close to the Demigod Realm, and she traded Level 9 Soul Tools for more tea and agreed to wear an outfit he chose.
• Qian Ran shared Electrolux’s story and a book of his cultivation insights with Ye Xishui, who became Nana’s master and cultivated in the demiplane.
• Qian Ran gave Snow Empress Enlightenment Tea, allowing her to break the world’s shackles and become a Demigod, then offered A Jiao and Youyou a way to restore their bloodlines and stay near him.
• Ye Xishui also reached the Demigod Realm, while Qian Ran left the Sun Moon Empire for Shrek Academy and met Dong'er outside Shrek City.
• Dong'er kept Qian Ran’s return secret so they could spend time alone, then brought him to meet the other girls at the academy.
• Qian Ran visited Zhang Lexuan, offered to help her become empress of the Sun Moon Empire, and persuaded her to travel there with him despite her concerns about the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Zhang Lexuan agreed to Qian Ran’s offer, kissed him, and later joined him for a meal before he returned to his private Manor.

Qian Ran strengthened his influence over the Holy Spirit Cult and Sun Moon Empire while drawing Jing Hongchen into plans for Zhang Lexuan. After thwarting Xue Lingxun’s attempt to kill him, he revealed Xu Sanshi’s place in the cult and persuaded Xue Lingxun to stay with him.

• Qian Ran returned to the Sun Moon Empire with Zhang Lexuan, and Ye Xishui agreed to move the Holy Spirit Cult into the Undead Plane and cooperate with him.
• Ye Xishui announced the cult’s new direction, ended its partnership with Xu Tianran, and revealed that she had reached the Demigod Realm.
• Qian Ran asserted his influence over Xu Tianran and arranged for Zhang Lexuan to act as the Holy Spirit Cult’s Holy Maiden.
• Jing Hongchen accepted Qian Ran’s relationship with Meng Hongchen, and Qian Ran proposed backing Zhang Lexuan as a potential ruler instead of Xu Tianran.
• Xue Lingxun tried to kill Qian Ran, but he evaded her attacks and explained that Xu Sanshi was alive in the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Qian Ran revealed that he was the cult’s ninth elder, offered Xu Sanshi protection and tutelage, and showed Xue Lingxun his circumstances.
• Qian Ran promised to protect Xue Lingxun and Xu Sanshi, and Xue Lingxun agreed to stay with him while keeping their relationship secret.

Qian Ran returned from Mingdu with several women and brought the Time-Sands Clock, new allies, and powerful soul tools into Shrek Academy. He became Vice Dean of the Soul Tool Department and drew closer to Ma Xiaotao and Wu Ming as Sea God's Fate approached.

• Qian Ran obtained the Time-Sands Clock from Feng Ling, then discovered it accelerated time in the Mustard Seed Ring by about threefold.
• Qian Ran defeated Xu Tianzhen, gained Sun True Fire, and accepted Xu Tianran’s offer of future cooperation before leaving Mingdu with five women.
• Qian Ran brought Ju Zi, Keke, Nana, and Meng Hongchen to Shrek Academy, where the deans welcomed them and Xue Lingxun joined their group.
• Qian Ran sparred with Yan Shaozhe and showed strength comparable to a Titled Douluo, then donated Ye Xishui’s Level 9 Soul Tools to Shrek Academy.
• The Sea God Pavilion approved Qian Ran as Vice Dean of the Soul Tool Department, and Meng Hongchen confronted Xiao Hongchen over his insults and her relationship with Qian Ran.
