• Xu Ran arrived at the Star Dou Great Forest with Xiao Wu and Zi JI, and his Fortune Power energized Soul Beasts across the forest.
• Xu Ran stopped Meng Yiran and Snake Granny from being overwhelmed by Soul Beasts, then left after warning Meng Yiran not to kill innocent Soul Beasts.
• At the Lake of Life, the Ferocious Beasts welcomed Xu Ran, and he named the Three-Eyed Golden Lion Wang Qiu’er.
• Xu Ran met Gu Yuena, claimed that heavenly consciousness had created him to restore balance, and began treating her divine injuries with Power of Destiny.

As Ning Rongrong’s transformed Martial Soul brought Xu Ran fresh renown at Shrek Academy, Zhu Zhuqing and Zhu Zhuyun’s feelings for him complicated the reunion with Dai Weisi.

• Xu Ran reassured Wang Qiu'er about her appearance and persuaded her to accept that he shared his affection among many women.
• Xu Ran treated Gu Yuena, pledged to help the Soul Beast Clan, and earned her trust before secretly continuing his intimate attentions during her recovery.

Xu Ran secured the Zhu Family’s trust while secretly manipulating Dai Weisi, then returned to Shrek Academy and drove a wedge between Liu Erlong and Yu Xiaogang. The arc ended with Xu Ran claiming Liu Erlong and turning his attention to Ning Rongrong.

• Xu Ran arrived in Star Luo City with Zhu Zhuqing, impressed the Zhu Family with his strength and gifts, and gained Empress Zhu Liya’s trust by pledging loyalty to Dai Weisi.
• At the royal banquet, Xu Ran performed alongside Zhu Zhuyun, then secretly met her and arranged to poison Dai Weisi with the Myriad Demon King’s mental toxin.
• Xu Ran helped poison Dai Weisi’s food and placed a mental imprint on him before leaving Star Luo City with Zhu Zhuqing as an envoy to the Heaven Dou Empire.
• Back at Blue Tyrant Academy, Tang San confronted Xiao Wu, who rejected him, and Xu Ran returned to deflect Tang San’s concealed weapons and defeat him.
• Xu Ran interrupted Liu Erlong as she offered Yu Xiaogang the Nine-Grade Purple Ganoderma, then humiliated Yu Xiaogang and offered the herb as payment for him to leave Liu Erlong.
• Yu Xiaogang took the herb and discovered that his Martial Soul was the Golden Sacred Dragon, while Xu Ran received a mission to extract it.

Xu Ran gained the Ancestral Dragon bloodline, humbled the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect, and built ties with Qian Renxue, Dugu Yan, and Ye Lingling. The arc ended with Yu Xiaogang confessing his manipulative motives to Liu Erlong as the Yu family exposed his past.
