• Xu Ran helped Liu Erlong uncover Yu Xiaogang’s lies, and Yu Yuanzhen and Yu Luomian recognized Xu Ran as the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect’s Grand Supreme Elder while beating Yu Xiaogang for his disrespect.
• Xu Ran pursued Liu Erlong after she agreed to honor their arrangement, then began openly courting Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing and took Ning Rongrong to his residence.
• Xu Ran met Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling outside Shrek Academy, defeated Tai Long with Destruction Sword Intent, and took Ye Lingling to Heaven Dou Royal Academy as his maid.
• Xu Ran visited Qian Renxue, who was disguised as Xue Qinghe, and brought Ye Lingling and other women to their meeting before discussing a peaceful alliance between the Heaven Dou and Star Luo Empires.

Xu Ran defeated Porcupinefish Douluo, secured Qian Renxue’s continued affection, and formally married Ning Rongrong after humiliating Tang San over his hidden weapons. He broke through to Soul Emperor, became a guardian elder of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, and began forcing Tang San to help establish the Xu Sect, while an evil presence entered Tang San unnoticed.

• Xu Ran defeated Porcupinefish Douluo, who agreed to protect Qian Renxue and keep Xu Ran’s identity and their fight secret.
• Tang San tried to trade hidden weapons for Ning Rongrong’s hand, but Ning Rongrong returned with Xu Ran and declared her love for him.
• Xu Ran presented Ning Fengzhi with rare herbs and nearly twenty Soul Bones, secured his blessing and a marriage certificate with Ning Rongrong, then beat Tang San in a hidden-weapon contest.

• Xu Ran planned to steer the Rakshasa God toward Tang San and secured Ning Fengzhi's help with the Xu Sect's official procedures.
• Xu Ran provoked Tang San in class, and Liu Erlong punished Tang San until he apologized and knelt before Xu Ran.
• Ah Yin asked Xu Ran to help her seek revenge against Tang Hao, and Xu Ran renamed her Lan'er at her request.

Xu Ran drew Shui Bing'er, Huo Wu, Qian Renxue, and others into his expanding circle while strengthening the Xu Sect and clashing with Tang San. After Ah Yin returned and sought revenge on Tang Hao, Xu Ran brought her to the Clear Sky Sect and accused Tang Hao of causing her sacrifice.

• Huo Wu challenged Xu Ran, but he effortlessly stopped her attacks and turned her Blazing Sun into fireworks spelling a message for Shui Bing'er, who found him and confessed her love.
• Shui Bing'er defeated Huo Wu with her newly attained Ultimate Ice, and Huo Wu later became Xu Ran's nominal disciple after spying on him and Shui Bing'er.
• Qian Renxue confronted Xu Ran at Skywater Academy after learning he knew her identity, but they reconciled and agreed he would return with her to Heaven Dou City.
• Tang San set out with Yu Xiaogang to recruit the Four Great Clans and pursue Bai Chenxiang, while Xu Ran learned of his plans and later confronted him at Shrek Academy.
• Liu Erlong rejected Yu Xiaogang and embraced Xu Ran, while Xu Ran slapped Tang San and ordered him to make flawless Hidden Weapons.
• Xu Ran visited the busy Xu Sect, praised Ning Rongrong's leadership, and impressed its applicants with his skill and sword intent.
