Xu Ran exposes the Sea God’s motives and Tang San’s role in Tang Chen’s death, winning Lorelei and Bo Saixi’s trust while preparing to face two gods. The arc ends with the Sea God confronting Xu Ran, whose hold over the Sea God’s Heart makes the Trident recognize him as its true master.

Xu Ran defeated the Sea God, brought Bo Saixi and the other women back to the mainland, and helped Xue Ke claim the Heaven Dou throne. As he prepared for the arrival of the Divine Realm’s gods, his relationship with the Goddess of Life and her pregnancy risked drawing their scrutiny.

• Xu Ran claimed the Sea God Trident and defeated the Sea God, who transferred his godhood to Tang San before dying.
• Xu Ran made a truce with Tang San to protect their loved ones, then brought Bo Saixi, Lorelei, Xiao Bai, Bai Xiuxiu, Lan Nu'er, and Lan Fozi from Sea God Island to the mainland.

• Xu Ran and the Goddess of Kindness discussed his motives and her unhappy relationship with the God of Evil, and she vowed to protect him if he helped her.
• Xu Ran told Tang Yuehua that Tang San had destroyed the Clear Sky Sect and killed Tang Hao and Tang Chen, and promised to kill Tang San.

After Zhu Zhuqing became a Titled Douluo, Xu Ran returned with her to Star Luo City, where he arrived just in time to save Zhu Zhuyun and the Zhu Family from the Dai and Xu families.

• Xu Ran and Gu Yuena agreed to help humans and Soul Beasts develop together, and Gu Yuena pledged to establish an academy and faction for the Beast Clan.
• Gu Yuena announced the Beast Clan’s rise at the Lake of Life, then fought with the Goddess of Kindness over the Divine Realm’s past treatment of Divine Beasts.
• Gu Yuena exposed the Goddess of Kindness’s secret interest in Xu Ran and persuaded her to reconsider opposing their plans against the Divine Realm.
