Background / History

Milotic began as Ye Yinchuan's Feebas. During her evolution, Ye used Suicune's Holy Water and Overlord's Shadow training to reduce the required effort. Recognizing that her expanding body would destroy the aquarium, he ordered Feebas to leap out; she evolved in midair before a live audience. 165

Her evolution changed both her Ability and Nature. She became calmer and more precise in energy control, while Cute Charm gained an unusually broad range: nearby opponents can become infatuated without needing to make contact, with the chance increasing at closer range. 166
