He and Calamity then unleashed a disaster on the Flame Demon settlement, where the local deities suspected the Outsiders and discovered that the Flame Demon deity’s authority had been suppressed.

• Lu Xiao joined the Doctor’s research plans and traveled to Hell with the Doctor and Morati to find Raven feathers.
• Lu Xiao and Calamity gathered the Ravens’ feathers, but Morati became trapped collecting souls until Lu Xiao learned that one hundred million souls could free him.
• Lu Xiao encountered Hell’s factions through the Wanderers and named Xinxiya as their guide to the Succubus Clan’s settlement.
• At Gentleman’s Paradise, Lu Xiao experienced a friendship dreamscape featuring Liu Guang, Bai Suoyi, Antie, and other familiar people before ending it and confronting Ruiqi.
• Lu Xiao deduced that Ruiqi had taken his Humanity Fragments and persuaded her to have the Succubus Clan worship him in exchange for cooperation and his help killing a deity.

Lu Xiao destroyed the Flame Demon Clan, helped Yi Hao and Ding Dan prepare a political scheme to unify Hell, and arranged for Ruiqi’s Succubi to play a role in the coming conflict. After entering a desire trial, he found himself starving on a battlefield and enlisted with Dan Guofeng’s unit.

• Lu Xiao subdued the Flame Demon, took his authority, and left the survivors to slaughter one another after Calamity offered one of them freedom for killing a hundred clansmen.
• Lu Xiao reported the destruction of the Flame Demon Clan to Yi Hao, who prepared the Redemption Army for war and announced that Ding Dan would punish the Outsiders.
• Lu Xiao advised Yi Hao to portray him as a threat and Ding Dan as Hell’s Savior, while offering neutral races rewards and binding fence-sitters with nominal fiefs.
• Lu Xiao recruited Amilia to lead an intelligence network under Ruiqi, then worked with Calamity to create the appellation Man-made Calamity and shared it with Ruiqi.

Meanwhile, Ding Dan used his King’s Authority to bring Hell’s Deities under control, and Lu Xiao began to suspect that an unknown force was shaping Dan Guofeng’s hostility toward him.

• Lu Xiao joined Dan Guofeng’s squad, saved a baby from a false father, and revealed that he knew Dan Guofeng was Dan Qingrong and Zhang Chu’s son.
• After receiving Bai Xuedong’s transfer order, Lu Xiao tried to shoot himself to avoid leaving the rear, but Dan Guofeng stopped him and read the order.
• Lu Xiao tested Dan Guofeng with concealed traps, then watched him rescue a baby and slaughter the scavengers who had eaten its mother.
• Lu Xiao and Dan Guofeng entered a subway maintenance room, found the hungry Chainsaw Man, and took him to Doctor Li.
• Ding Dan arrived at the Succubus Settlement disguised as one of Ruiqi’s people, revealed his demonic form, and forced seven Deities to submit to protect their clans.

Lu Xiao learned that his presence had destabilized Dan Guofeng’s peaceful Time Shadow and traveled with him to the Taoist Temple, where Dan Qingrong revealed her connection to Liu Guang and fused the Wood Heart into a baby. Meanwhile, Calamity confronted the Observer in Hell, and Yi Hao prepared to turn the allied army’s collapse into a purge that Ruiqi saw as an opportunity.

• Lu Xiao gave Dan Guofeng the baby and explained how to summon a powerful figure, but Dan Guofeng collapsed after imagining Zhang Chu coming to save him as monsters attacked.
• At camp, Doctor Li told Lu Xiao that Dan Guofeng’s beliefs sustained the peaceful rear and that Lu Xiao’s presence had made Dan Guofeng believe Liu Guang was alive, destabilizing the Time Shadow.
• Doctor Li recalled Lu Xiao to lead the Spark Plan, and Lu Xiao named Bai Suoyi, Gambler, Dan Guofeng, and Antie Icarus for the mission.
• Lu Xiao took Dan Guofeng toward Mount Kunlun, where they discussed Dan Guofeng’s ability and reached the Taoist Temple after following the Path to Immortality.
