After hearing Flock's words, Modun looked at the city wall. He was only ten meters tall after transforming, while the wall was nearly thirty meters high.

He tested the wall's strength with his claws, then pushed off hard with both legs, leaping upward and digging his claws into the wall for purchase as he climbed.

The defenders on the wall had intended to throw stones and shoot arrows at Modun, but his leaps were too powerful and his movements too fast to aim at.

Before they had time to react, Modun reached the top of the wall. One sweep of his claws tore several defenders apart, sending severed limbs flying.

After reaching the wall and quickly clearing an area, Modun launched an attack on the Unsullied legion from atop it.

Modun leaped straight down from the wall. Seeing him jump, the Unsullied immediately hurled spears at him, but the spears embedded in the Jaw Titan's body did little. As long as his vision and the nape of his neck were unharmed, they had little effect on him.

With several spears sticking out of him, Modun dropped into the Unsullied formation. Although the Unsullied had seen him jump and counterattacked, he fell so quickly that not only did he suffer little damage, they did not even have time to change their formation before he landed right in its center.

When Modun landed, he crushed the Unsullied in the center underfoot, splattering blood everywhere. Those nearby were shaken off their feet, while those farther away hurled spears at him. This time, however, Modun was smarter and simply dodged or blocked them with his hands.

Then he charged straight at the Unsullied blocking the city gate. What he needed to do now was clear out the defenders holding the gateway so the main force could enter.

The cavalry outside saw that the defenders above the gate had been cleared away, then watched Modun leap down into the middle of the Unsullied formation and begin slaughtering them, leaving an opening among the defenders at the entrance.

Seizing their chance, the cavalry immediately charged over on horseback. Caught between Modun and the cavalry, the Unsullied guarding the gateway were routed outright. Against cavalry alone, they could have held out for a while, but with the Jaw Titan behind them and no cover anywhere around, they could not stop a Giant at all.

Once the obstacles at the gate were cleared, the cavalry charged straight toward the pyramids and lavish houses as though no one stood in their way. The entire city once again experienced the nightmare of six months earlier.

This time, however, it was far more brutal. Last time, they had only wanted wealth. This time, they wanted both people and money, and after taking everything away, they would destroy the entire city, severing the cultural heritage of this part of Slaver's Bay that had once belonged to the Ghiscari Empire.

The cavalry kept Eren's teachings in mind at all times: take away any beautiful women they saw and seize any strong, able-bodied men. But they could only capture these people; they had no authority to dispose of them.

Throughout the empire, only Eren had the authority to dispose of these people. They were all Eren's property, and no one else was allowed to touch them. Eren never begrudged rewards for his subordinates. She had no interest in gold and kept it only for future development. As for women, Eren would only select a few, and the rest would be bestowed upon warriors who fought bravely.

The most important point was that his subordinates could only take what Eren gave them. If he did not give something, they could not seize it. Moreover, they only had the right to use the women bestowed upon them, not ownership. This applied to everyone, including every level of leadership. Ownership of the entire empire rested with Eren, and if anyone carelessly damaged the empire's property, Eren would punish them himself.

As for the disobedient, they would either be fed to Giants or transformed into Giants and made to serve indefinitely. Even after death, Eren would brainwash them into molding Giants within the Coordinate.

The purpose of doing this was also to lay the foundation for his rule after founding a nation, establishing an alternative kind of equality: everyone would be Eren's slave, and no one could stand above anyone else, even if they became a leader,

Anyone who broke the law or held office without doing their work would be punished. In the future, all of this would be monitored through the Coordinate. After all, in Eren's eyes, no one in this empire was indispensable except himself. When the cavalry reached the slave masters' homes, many were already preparing to flee with their possessions. Seeing this, the cavalry rounded them all up. Those who had not fled, or who had brought little wealth with them, were first interrogated under torture and then killed. Some slaves were then made to load the slave masters' possessions onto carts, one after another, and take them out of the city to Eren.

When Eren saw cartloads of treasure arriving at the camp, along with crowds of people under escort, he knew Yunkai had fallen once again.

He felt little change in his emotions. With so many men, if they could not even take Yunkai, there was no need for them to exist.

That evening, Modun, Flock, and Link returned. Noticing Colin was missing, Eren asked:

"Why don't I see Colin? Where is he?"

Flock stepped forward and said, "Your Majesty, Colin was killed by an arrow shot from hiding while fighting the enemy."

Eren froze for a moment at this, but could not help thinking, What a useless fool.

His expression unchanged, he said, "It seems Colin has gone to Valhalla. The Giant God will watch over him."

"However, now that Colin is dead, someone needs to take over his duties. Let the commander of his First Regiment succeed him, promoted in order of seniority. Modun, arrange for someone to notify him later and have him come see me."

Afterward, Eren used the Coordinate Power to examine the three men's memories of that day, then addressed Modun first:

"Your performance today wasn't very good. To think the Jaw Giants had their eyes stabbed out and nearly lost their life. Remember to play to your strengths in future battles."

Hearing this, Modun was immediately filled with trepidation. "Your Majesty, I will become more proficient in using the Power of the Giants."

Eren nodded, then said to Flock, "You performed well today. When Modun was in trouble, your instructions gave him a direction to move in."

"I intend to bestow the Power of the Giants upon you, but Modun should have told you about its drawback, correct? Go back and think it over. If you accept, you will have only fifteen years left to live. If you've made up your mind, come see me tomorrow morning."

Flock was quite excited to hear that Eren intended to bestow the Power of the Giants upon him, but then he remembered that he would have only fifteen years to live. Hearing Eren tell him to think it over that night, he nodded and withdrew.

Having said that, Eren turned to Link. "Your performance was unremarkable, neither outstanding nor poor. If you can distinguish yourself in the next battle, bestowing the Power of the Giants upon you is not out of the question."

Link felt somewhat disappointed at Eren's words, but upon hearing the latter part, he immediately rose and saluted:

"Yes, Your Majesty! I will do my best in the next battle and dedicate my heart to the empire!"

Eren nodded, then mounted one of his horses and said, "You may leave now. I am going to destroy Yunkai completely."

With that, Eren rode toward Yunkai. He planned to transform into a Giant again and destroy all of Yunkai with a nuclear blast. After all, the whole of Slaver's Bay had been plundered. If he left behind an abandoned ruin, what if someone occupied it in the future? If he did not want it, he would not leave it for anyone else.

Besides, Yunkai's sister city, Meereen, had already been blown up. What was the point of leaving Yunkai standing?

And so, Eren rode toward Yunkai.

Before long, the earth shook violently, and a mushroom cloud rose over Yunkai. Under the power of the nuclear blast, the entire city was reduced to nothing.

Eren emerged at the nape of the Giant's neck and sighed:

"Another day of nuclear peace."
