After transforming into one of the Jaw Giants, Modun watched the enemies charging toward him, carried along by their own horses.

With a single swipe of his claws, he sliced the riders and their horses into several pieces.

Many nearby enemies turned pale with fright at the gruesome sight.

Modun leaped straight into a dense cluster of enemies and began slaughtering them.

Drogo also saw the giant suddenly appear in the distance. Although its appearance shook him,

he quickly recovered. He knew that if he let the giant rampage and charge around unchecked, ordinary horses and men would never be able to stop him.

So he immediately shouted an order: "Loose! Loose!"

Hearing their Khal's command, the soldiers around Drogo immediately drew their bows, nocked arrows, and fired at the giant.

Arrows flew toward Modun. Many of the archers' former comrades were still around him, and they too were caught in the volley, riddled with arrows like hedgehogs.

Drogo had no other choice but to attack his own men as well. If he let the giant attack at will, the soldiers would never be able to stop him, so he could only sacrifice some of his men to buy time to hold the giant back.

Modun had not expected Drogo to order an attack so decisively, and the arrows struck him before he could react.

Fortunately, he shielded his eyes in time. Combined with his ability to withstand injuries after transforming, this meant his wounds were not serious.

When Drogo and his men saw that the giant was not badly hurt, they prepared to draw their bows and fire at him again.

Just then, the cavalry Modun led reached them and engaged them at close quarters. Those who still tried to shoot at the giant under these circumstances were cut from their horses by Eren's warriors.

Seeing the enemy charge in, Drogo could only abandon his attack on the giant, and the cavalry on both sides began charging into each other.

Horses collided and men fought. Eren's soldiers tacitly kept away from Modun, afraid of being caught in his attacks as he grew blinded by slaughter.

Eren observed the battle from the rear.

He saw Modun rampaging across the battlefield, with no enemy able to withstand his sharp claws.

On the other side of the battlefield, Eren also spotted Drogo fighting. Drogo moved with practiced skill on horseback, and every strike he used to kill was lethal. He was clearly a battle-hardened warrior with exceptional natural talent.

After seeing this fierce warrior, Eren began guessing his identity. With such formidable skill and that long braid down his back, he reckoned the man might be the Khal of this Khalasar.

So he used the Coordinate's power to give Modun an order.

"Modun, watch that warrior with the long braid to your east. He might be the Khal. Kill him or capture him alive."

Modun was startled when Eren's voice rang out in his mind, but then he remembered that the king was the son of a god and possessed the incredible Power of the Giants. Having another strange ability was something he could accept.

After receiving Eren's order, Modun looked east and noticed a warrior with a long braid. He had a full beard, and his powerful upper body was bare.

He was exceptionally fierce in battle. Many of Eren's soldiers had already fallen to his curved blade, and he could shift and maneuver on horseback with great agility.

Drogo rode with his curved blade in hand, and no one he encountered was his match. After all, in the original story, he had never lost a fight in his life.

Drogo's fighting prowess was beyond question. Seeing him acting so brazenly, Modun threw aside the severed enemy limbs in his hands and charged straight toward him.

When Drogo's soldiers saw the giant charging toward their Khal, some moved aside, unwilling to be killed so brutally. Rather than face the giant, they preferred to face fellow humans.

There were also soldiers loyal to Drogo who tried to block the Jaw Titan's advance,

summoning their courage and swinging their curved blades as they charged at the giant. Unfortunately, it was no different from a mantis trying to stop a cart. Modun ignored the man completely and trampled straight over him. As the Jaw Titan moved away, all that remained was a blood-soaked pulp.

Drogo also noticed the giant running toward him. When the three Bloodriders beside him saw this, Kohoro hurriedly said to him:

"Drogo, lead the army back to the rear first, then regroup. I'll stop the giant."

Hearing Kohoro's words, Drogo immediately retorted:

"I am the Khal! How could I run away?"

Kohoro looked at Drogo before him. He had watched Drogo grow up and knew his temper and pride well. Having never lost since he first began fighting, being told to flee now was undoubtedly a blow to his dignity.

But in their current situation, the giant was unstoppable. What was more, the enemy outnumbered them and fought with exceptional ferocity. Their troops were close to breaking; even maintaining an intact formation was extremely difficult now.

With enemies constantly charging them, trying to kill or hold back the giant was as futile as trying to scoop the moon out of the water.

They had all witnessed the giant's fighting prowess. The claws on his hands were incredibly sharp, cutting even their curved blades into several pieces.

He also stood over ten meters tall and possessed immense strength. The curved blades in their hands were of no use against him.

Kohoro knew Drogo's pride would not let him flee, but he had still said those words in the hope that Drogo would place a little more importance on his own life.

Having watched Drogo grow up, he had long since come to regard him as his own child.

Kohoro said to Haggo and Qotho, "Get the Khal out of here. I'll hold the giant off for a while. As long as the Khal is still alive, we haven't lost."

With that, Kohoro spurred his horse toward the giant, raised his bow, and fired at the giant's eyes.

Although Kohoro was no longer young, and his physical strength had declined with age, his archery had grown ever more practiced.

With a whoosh, the arrow struck the Jaw Titan's right eye. Modun had been blinded yet again, though fortunately, he still had one eye left.

Enraged by the arrow, Modun looked at Kohoro, who had recklessly dared to shoot him, and strode after him.

Meanwhile, Haggo and Qotho grabbed Drogo by the shoulders and dragged him backward in retreat. Although Drogo possessed astonishing strength, Haggo and Qotho were both highly capable men themselves.

Despite his desperate efforts to break free, Drogo was still dragged back by the two men. He could only watch helplessly as Kohoro's desolate figure charged toward the giant.

Drogo could only shout himself hoarse:

"Kohoro!!!!!!"
